Hey y'all, Hope you're all well and having a great day! I need some help on the site I'm working on.... Basically, when I go to the product list by manufacturer, it shows a price of a combination - not the default price that appears on the product page and is specified in the backoffice... Is this a cache issue as this happened when we first started inputting products and it just straightened itself out after a while? The site is to launch soon but I don't want this to happen once it's launched! To see what I mean please click here: http://95.142.159.173/~simplyst/index.php?id_manufacturer=7&controller=manufacturer , note the price shown and then click on a product - you'll see on the product page that it's not the same! Please help!!! Paul

Hello! Is there a way to price products based on cost price plus a percentage, which can apply to a single brand or group of products? I was looking at catalog prices which seems to be able to setup reductions, but i will specifically need to price based on cost price plus a percentage. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi there, After uploading many test combinations in cvs all was working fine BTW.. I uploaded the final test set - and clicked delete all combinations.. Now, even though the products have the various combinations showing as comb's in the backend EDIT : PrestaShop version 1.6.0.11 Shop URL http://louvre-doors.com/ Current theme in use default-bootstrap The product page shows box "this combination is not available for this product" The only thing I have is in the combination is size and price.. 450 x 250 with a price impact... so there are no unreal combinations.. Still working through starting again - but any idea from anyone - would be much appreciated Site is louvre-doors.com btw.. Thanks in advance //D

I am using the newest 1.6 installation and was wondering if their was a setting in the cart to show the price increase on product attributes. This way it would show a drop down like Item 1 Item 2 [Add $20] Item 3 [Add $30] Is there a setting somewhere for this or do I have to modify the product.tpl in order to display the upcharges? Thank You

Hi everyone, I've been adding product pricing to my store prior to it going live, but some of the pricing alters all by itself on my website. For example, product priced at $12.99 (including tax etc), when I check it on the site the $12.99 price has a line through it, with a new price of $13.00 above. When added to the cart it reverts back to $12.99, but obviously this is confusing and looks a bit amateur-ish from a customer's point of view. If I change the price to $13.00 it is ok, but as soon as I change it back to $12.99 it happens again, it also happens with products at different price points (also a one cent price increase). I've tried disabling the product, turning the product back on again, and nothing seems to fix it. I have no other price rules or discounts in place for these items. Any ideas please would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

All prices showing 0.00 with "Product available with different options" label. I have disabled the layered blocks module, and I DO NOT have any product combinations associated with this product. It is my first product and I am not sure why I can't get to give the price in the catalog. But if you go into the item page itself, it will show the correct price. My website it www.myvapebar.com/mvbshop and I am running Prestashop 1.6.0.9 . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!, I'm currently on Prestashop 1.6.0.9 We are currently having a real issue with invoice generation. All taxes and shipping costs are being calculated properly. Yet so when the customer chooses multiple products the calculation is only done on one of the products, Unfortunately the product it chooses to base the calculations on is completely random. We have already started garnering losses because of this bug. Total Tax Excluded shows the right price in the 'Tax detail box' but not in the 'Product totals' or 'Total'. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing such and if there is a way to fix this, as it is proving costly. Thanks in Advance, Oscar Tark

I am just starting to build my first Prestashop for a client and have hit what I believe to be a major issue as I have searched the forum and on Google and cannot seem to find the answer I'm looking for but reading between the lines I think I'm not going to be able to achieve what I want without it costing my clients. It is very simple. They are a wholesaler of beauty products and as an example one of their lines is a GEL POLISH. There are over 70 different colors and each one has a unique reference code. They are all priced exactly the same. I also have an image for each individual color because as you can imagine with this product that is absolutely crucial for the customer to see. OK... as I see it I could enter them all as individual products but then on a price change the client would have to go in and change each individual price which is a complete non starter !! OR... create one product but the customer has a choice of over 70 colors. This would get over the hurdle of price changes as you would only have to do that once however as far as I can see apart from other issues I haven't yet discovered then this is not a practical solution because you cannot show a separate image for each attribute !!! I am sincerely hoping I am wrong but could some kind soul please tell me what the best way is to achieve a simple entry of a product where the price and any other amendments can be made easily?

Hi, I would like to make an online store that sells custom made curtains. This would require the customer to enter the Width and Height of their window, and then would calculate the price accordingly (based on the size). For example: The particular curtain is charged at $50 per square meter. The customer enters width of 1.2m and height of 2.1m Price = 1.5 x 2.1 x 50 = $157.50 1. Is this possible? 2. If yes, how would I go about doing this? Which files do I need to adjust? Thanks a lot.

Gsitemap module picking up wrong pricing
miked123 posted a topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Hello, Just noticed that the Gsitemap module when creating a sitemap is displaying prices that are not the retail prices, so on google search the product is displayed at e.g £58.33 when the actual price is £69.99, is this an issue with the module or is there a setting I should be using in the back end? Any help much appreciated. Mike -
Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to always show prices incl. taxes, even for visitors. I'm wondering if there is a way to change the way the pricing is displayed for the visitors group via a classes or database hack? Maybe it would be possible to have the guest group as the default group also for visitors? btw: I have been through the customer group settings, tax rules and default country settings a few times. Prices are shown correctly for guests and customers, just not for visitors... Many thanks for your help! Best regards Clemens

Version Using PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.6 I require help in the way the pricing is shown on the product listing. Currently it shows it without VAT. But it doesn't say 'Excl. VAT'. I require that to be shown on each product listing. I also require the RRP price to be shown. When adding a product, I have gone over each product and made sure each product has its own RRP and the pricing has been included as excl. VAT while applying the correct VAT onto the products. So I require an option to put 'Excl. VAT next to the price and also an RRP showing on each product listing. Many thanks! :-)

Hi, I am running Prestashop 1.6.0.5 and am a relative newbie so please bear with me! I need a couple of the products in the store to display POA. I can then get them to contact us for pricing. I have searched the forums and found http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/31401-price-on-application/ but the if ($price == 0) { $ret = "P.O.A."; } doesn't seem to work. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers

How can I show a product with the price set to "Price on Application"? Sometimes the price or availability of a product is too volatile to show, so it is better to show the product as "Price on Application" or "Call us for Prices". This must be a common issue, but I can't find it in the forum. I am using Version 1.5.6.1. All help welcome, thanks.

Final few bits of customisation required before we go live on first of many ecommerce sites: I need the pre-tax price / pre-tax customisation / combination figure to stay the same (with 2 decimal places) but have the post-tax final price & final retail price to be rounded up to the nearest dollar. Any ideas on what files I need to customise to do this?

So I'm trying to set up a Catalog Price Rule for my shop but whenever I do, it shows the price of the product as £0.00 - whatever discount I put on it this always happens. It goes into the cart perfectly so I would assume there's an issue with the Product page's coding but I can't for the life of me work it out! This is REALLY urgent and a major issue PLease help!!

I need a module or functionality developed for a site I am building using the latest version of PrestaShop. It needs to be able to display the following in a grid for the product on the product page: Product pack size Weight Quantity (available to select on front end) Dimensions Add to Cart button This is a screen shot of what it needs to look like: There is a module available that does something similar, but there's no demo available and I've tried to get in touch with the module developer with no luck. I need a quote for this job along with availability and turnaround time. Thanks

Hi, Is it possible to display different product selling prices depending on the visitors IP address? It looks like it's almost possible using the "Specific Prices" and Geolocation options, but I would like different prices to display for a particularly large customer when they visit from any of their IP addresses ( (xxx.xxx.xxx.*), rather than by Country. Can anyone suggest any tweaks I can make to the Geolocation files or another way to achieve this? Thanks! Chrisalism

Hi there I have recently started to work with PrestaShop and I still have a lot to learn. My question to the forum is about customized discounts. For instance, if I have a major outlet, where I want to make the following total discount: 1 x product = normal price, depended of the model (prices like 10$, 20$ and 30$) 3 x products (no matter which model combination) = 30$ So it means every time a customer chooses 3 products, no matter which product, there is the same price! Can anyone tell me whether this rule can be applied by PrestaShop's default price/cart rules and in that case how!? Thank you very much

Lokad is a SaaS company with a strong focus on commerce. We have just released BotDefender, a service to protect merchants from the automated retrieval of all their prices by competitors (aka web scraping), see http://www.lokad.com/botdefender-anti-scraping-software-for-commerce We are seeking a partner to develop a Prestashop module for BotDefender. This development will be funded by Lokad; however, we also expect the partner to properly market the module within Prestashop add-ons marketplace. Don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. Best regards, Joannes Vermorel, Founder, Lokad
