hi every one . is it possible to add additional data like hyperlink or image to product features ? for example when customer want to see product features , it will show like bellow : sex: [men icon] For Men scent: [proper icon] sweet and warm when customer clicks on each hyperlink , he will be direct to the page that shows all product witch contain for example "sweet and warm" scent . is it possible ?

Hi I now know how to export nearly anything using SQL manager from my old shop. Except Features, Attributes and Tags. I got some SELECT code for thos but they don't work. For the "features" tab, I'd like to replace the current fields (drop down + textbox for new value) by a single one, having an autocomplete... feature Any idea on how to do such a thing? I am setting up a book store using PrestaShop 1.5.4. Each product has a feature called "Author". What I would like to do is to include any matching features in the instant search in addition to the matching products, e.g. If a user searches for "Brown" the instant search will list all products (books) containing a reference to Brown, including the features. What I would also like to do is to include a line in the search result for each feature that contains Brown, resulting in additional lines for authors such as Dan Brown, Dale Brown, etc. I have attached a screenshot from Waterstones.com that shows the kind of thing I am looking for.

I have a problem with my store after upgrading from 1.6.0.11 to 1.6.0.14. The problem is that some of the features are not displayed on the frontend but in the backend i can see, edit and save them. I believed that this was a database but i checked the tables and those look ok to me. Did anyone encountered this problem? Do you have any suggestion for this? Hello! First of all thanks for reading this. I'm trying to add extra inputs into features. What I'm trying to accomplish is moslty what it shows on the screenshot. Features should accept: Name Image Detail (or description, to be shown on a tooltip over the badge) URL (to make the badge clicable, if the user wants to redirect to an extended info page) I was trying to extend FeatureValueCore, but I don't really understand how to extend the database tables to include and save the new inputs. Any pointers? Ideas? Thanks!

Hi there. We are deciding between eCommerce platforms for our business. We've whittled it down to four options (Jigoshop, Prestashop, Magento, OpenCart) but may I trouble you for help in assessing the implementation costs? First of all, to brief you on our functional requirements: 1) We sell SEO link rental services to clients and B2B to other SEO companies. We want our clients to be able to select a combination of link rental services of various strengths, adding for example 20x bronze, 10x silver, and 2x gold links to their cart 2) For every link they order, we need two text fields (the target URL and anchor text). This would mean we need 20+10+2=32 pairs of these two text fields in the above case. 3) Customers should then be able to alter the amounts of each type of link in their cart, then sign up to be billed the cart total amount every month. 4) They should later be able to login to: 4.1) Change the values in said text fields (64 fields in the above example) 4.2) Add or remove links of each type (automatically altering the cost of their monthly subscription) 4.3) Cancel their subscription entirely 5) We should be informed via webhook or email when such changes occur, with just the data items that changed. 6) We also want to charge for reports that have a base price + a per-page surcharge, and a total multiplier. ie: So if a SEO report costs $200 + $5/page, then a 10-page report would be $250, but if they also want us to implement the recommendations in the report, then we multiply the $250 total by 2.5 times, making the new total $625. 7) Finally, we want to automatically email new clients with a once-off referral coupon code that adds two free links to the next order for them and the friend they refer. (ie: We want to add freebies instead of discounting price, and track where coupons are used) Now, my questions are: A) How much of this can PrestaShop do already? Hello, I will create a Product Feature called "Shipping Time" and will display it on the Product page. Product will also have several Combinations where Size can be selected from the drop-down box. Question: how could I make the drop-down selection to change the value of "Shipping time" shown on the Product Page. For example: if size L is selected - the "Shipping Time" text should say "5 days" if size XXL is selected - the "Shipping Time" should show "10 days" Any advice how to achieve that? Is that possible? Hello In the back office, in the products page, we can add features to the products. Someone know anyway to change the maxlength here? at the moment I can add 255 characters but I need ad at least 1000. Any idea? I dont know which is the file who control this restriction. Hi everyone, a need some help please. I made some features wich serve only to make some difference between products in a particular subcategory, but I do not want them to show up on the more info data tabs. BUT I do NOT want to remove all feature displays, only those few that serve as filters for me. Example for better understanding: I have a subcategory called "adult incontinency", which cannot be further divided in more subcategories, but it contains different products, like "diapers for incontinence" and "pads for incontinence". Hence I made two features to be able to filter them separately with layered navigationmodule, but stay in the same category. All good now, but I just dont want for these features to show up on the More info tabs Data sheet, its just a useless info on the screen. But I have other features that I have to show on other products. So how do I filter which feature to show on screen and which not? Hi everyone, I have a vision of managing products, and I'd like to ask you experts what is the best method to do it. I have 100 products, all in 3 possible colors, they also have some 'features' which I'd like to make visible (x,y,z) for customers and seo. My idea of categories: A and B categories; in each of them 3 subcategories with colors 1,2 and 3. When I click on any product, I'd like to always see also 2 other possible color options, and some special features. How to do it? I'm trying to modify the superfish menu so that it can show some features as a link to products with these features, but I'm kinda at a lost with what to do. It's a wine shop. The products are Category: Wine - SubCat: White wine - Features: Country of origin. Is it possible to make them appear along side sub categories in the dropdown menu?

I put a week ago a shop online. All good and fancy, till I just realised that the blocklayered module is not working (when i select a feature to filter it keeps in endless loading). I need your help to solve this issue. Specifications: Friendly URL : on Indexed all attributes and built url index I don't know if there are any requirement of the server configuration. Φίλοι μου καλησπέρα. Ετοιμάζω 1 e-shop με αντικείμενο προιόντα και υπηρεσίες εκτυπώσεων.. (www.stampa-stampa.gr) Ένα από τα προϊόντα μου θα είναι αφίσες και ταπετσαριες και πίνακες .. Έχω δημιουργίσει attribute με στάνταρ διαστάσεις και θέλω ο πελάτης επιλέγοντας την διάσταση να προσθέτει πχ: size (+πλαστικοποίηση) (+ kappa) αυτό που δεν θέλω είναι να πρέπει να επιλέγει διάσταση και για τα χαρακτηριστικά αυτά ... αλλά να αλλάζει η τιμή τους ανάλογα με την 1η επιλογή.. Μπορεί να είναι κάτι απλό αλλά έχει κολλήσει το κεφάλι μου.. Όποιος μπορεί να βοηθήσει ή το έχει αντιμετωπίσει ας ενημερώσει ... Ευχαριστώ

Hi guys, Anyone else having issues with sorting and reordering product features in 1.6.0.9? All of a sudden my product features are all miss sorted / miss ordered and when I re-sort / re-order them manualy they all go miss sorted again after I refresh Catalog>Features page. Also, when I hit Save&Stay on product features page when editing product it behaves like I pressed Save but without actual save of progress (hope thats clear what I am trying to say) I have 400+ features and didnt had any problems so far on my 1.5 and 1.6 site. Any ideas what to do, I really like to sort my features to fit my needs. Regards, Vedran
