Search the Community

The facility to add aliases for search terms (Preferences > Search) doesn't work. I'm using 1.6.1.24 on ubuntu 18.04. I've rebuilt the entire index of products. Has anybody got a solution for this? Does it work on 1.7? Hi all, Really hoping someone can help me out with this one. I've been banging my head on the walls. 🥺 As mentioned in the title, I'm trying to update the 'alias' field in the ps_address table in my database. Currently it simply says "My address" but I need it to be in Japanese and read "自分の住所". I've tried to run this SQL command : However it just tells me I'm not very familiar with SQL. Witam. Mam problem z wyszukiwarką w sklepie, otóż problemem jest to iż szukajka nie wyszukuje produktów które mają "-" (myślnik) w nazwie, dodałem aliasy do wyszukiwarki i nadal nic. Przykład: by wyszukać przedmiot o nazwie IDO-1000 muszą wpisać minimum IDO, ale w statystykach bardzo dużo zapytań jest pod hasłem IDO1000 bez myślnika i nic nie wyszukuje. Ludzie głupieją a nazwy tego przedmiotu niestety nie mogę zmienić. Proszę o pomoc!

I'm importing customers from Magento, I successfully imported 'customers', but when i try the 'addresses' I keep getting an error that the "alias cannot be saved". I manually created the alias from the shipping name. Any help would be appreciated!

J'ai une boutique aaa.com Je souhaite ajouter un autre domaine bbb.fr en multiboutique (même cat., produits, ....) Je suis sur serveur VPS LWS sur ISP Config. Voici les manipulations que j'ai effectué: Sur le panel des domaines de mon hébergeur, j'ai modifié le DNS de bbb.fr en direction de mon serveur. Dans ISP Config j'ai créé un alias à mon domaine aaa.com: Alias : bbb.fr Site web parent: aaa.com Type redirection: R=301,L Chemin de redirection: "vide" Sous-domaine auto: Aucun Redirection SEO: www.domain.tld => domain.tld Actif Dans PS 1.6.0.14: Préférences->Paramètres Généraux-> J'ai activé la multi-boutique Paramètres avancés->Multiboutique->J'ai ajouté une nouvelle boutique avec les paramètres suivant: Domaine: bbb.fr Domaine SSL: bob.fr URL Physique: / URL virtuel : "vide" URL finale: http://bbb.fr Dans mon back office, je gère les deux boutiques sans problème avec le sélecteur. Mais quand j'appel ma boutique bbb.fr dans mon navigateur, j'ai toujours le message du serveur: ------------- It works!This is the default web page for this server. We started using Prestashop recently and so far we've had 3 orders. The first 2 were OK and the third has some problems: - Order #3 is not visible in BO Orders page but it is visible if you view customer information. Payment went through. - confirmation email contains no customer information (shipping, billing addresses) - invoice generated has no customer information So why the first 2 orders were fine and third was weird? My guess is that the customer reached checkout page, 1. clicked payment method PayPal 2. Skipped Login/Registration 3. Clicked Pay button Which redirected them to PayPal. So in Prestashop we have incomplete customer information acquired from PayPal (Address alias: Paypal_address), which is not enough, and even with that why isn't it properly used to create order entries and invoices etc.? Our settings: - Prestashop 1.6.1.1 - PayPal module version: 3.10.2 by Prestashop (we are UK based) - PP settings: Website Payments Standard, Express Checkout shortcut: no, Use PayPal In Context Checkout: no, Use the PayPal Login functionality: no, Live mode, Direct Sales. Are the dev team aware of these problems? I have seen some related posts in this forum but not sure if my problem is exactly the same.

Hola a todos, estoy en la etapa final de la configuración de mi pagina y quiero ocultar el campo ''asigne un nombre a esta dirección para futuras operaciones'' (alias de la dirección ) en la parte cuando el cliente registra su dirección! adjunto la imagen con el problema. Ya lo modifique para que no sea necesario ingresarlo, o sea ''required'' -> false. ademas intenté una solución que busqué en el foro de agregar el código #address_alias { display: none; } en authentification.css , pero no se cambia. espero sus respuestas! muchas gracias!!

Hey there, i'm experiencing a really weird issue with aliases in presta 1.4.8.2. To be short, without aliases search works perfectly. When an alias for a keyword is added, let's say "tm430" for "tm-430", to look for the Brother Tm-430 product, search will return no result. Search will not return any result if i also write "tm-430", which is the correct term. Again, when no alias is set, "tm-430" returns the correct result. To get the product, i have to remove the last character from the query, like "tm-43", or "tm43" for the alias. Any idea on why this is happening? Never noticed such a thing before. The search engine is untouched, of course This appears to be happening when adding aliases for the last part of a product name only. First part works like a charm edit: interesting, this iseems to only happen when i use words with a dash, like the example one. Cheers, Fabio

Bonjour, Je post aujourd'hui car je me retrouve devant un problème concernant plusieurs domaines. Pour vous expliquez la situation ma société dispose d'un NDD actuellement détenue par une société de service qui héberge un site vitrine. Voulant nous séparé de ce site pour nous consacrer au site E-commerce, nous voudrions rediriger notre NDD vers notre site E-commerce au bout d'un ans on a atteint 1500-1800 visites par mois. Le site vitrine lui aux environ 2000-2500 visites. Le site E-commerce est hébergé sur un VPS de OVH avec ISPConfig 3 d'installer dessus. N'ayant toujours pas pus récupérer notre NDD du site vitrine je voulais faire des essaies avec des sous domaines de notre site E-commerce. J'ai donc définit de nouvelles zones DNS vers mon site E-commerce avec un NDD qui pointe sur le VPS ensuite dans ISPConfig j'ai réglé le paramètre auto sous domaine du site avec *. .Mais voila le problème, je pense viens de prestashop lorsque je vais sur le site avec mon nouveau nom de domaine, je me retrouve sur mon URL de boutique principal ce que je ne veux pas. Je voudrais savoir comment je peux configurer prestashop pour qu'il ne remplace systématiquement l'URL par l'URL principal. Hi, When I add a new address to an account that already has addresses, the new address form is pre populated with My Address, which is already used by default. It used to auto-increment and create a new address name. I found this line in address.tpl {if isset($smarty.post.alias)}{$smarty.post.alias}{else if isset($address->alias)}{$address->alias|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}{elseif !$select_address}{l s='My address'}{/if} Im not sure why this wont work, does anyone know where I can find where the address alias is supposed to change for a new address so I can try to troubleshoot? Bonjour, voici le souci que je rencontre. J'ai actuellement une boutique en ligne installée sur un nom de domaine et un hébergement de type maboutique.fr chez OVH. Je viens de mettre en place le multiboutique afin de créer des "sous-boutiques" dédiées à d'autres pays, belgique, UK, Italie,... Je possède des noms de domaines correspondant à ces différents boutiques. Voici mon souci, pour ma boutique Belgique, l'adresse crée par prestashop est du type maboutique.fr/be/, lorsuqe je fais une redirection invisible de mon nom de domaine maboutique.be vers maboutique.fe/be/ , l'adresse dans la barre du navigateur ne change jamais. Et je n'ai donc pas de lien directs vers les adresses de mes produits. Pour résumer, je souhaiterais que lorsque mon client belge est sur la page du produit 1, il soit affiché maboutique.be/produit-1 et non maboutique.beou maboutique.fr/be/produit-1. On m'a parlé d'alias plutôt que de redirection mais je ne sais pas comment faire ça. Merci d'avance.

Hello I am using prestashop 1.5.3.1 and have used prestashop for our site for around 5 years, I want to enable one page checkout but i have the following problem. When you process through the checkout page and enter the delivery address and then select add a different billing address and enter the billing address and click save I get the following error. The alias 'My Address' is all ready used, please chose another one On the one page checkout there is no place to enter a alias on either the delivery address or billing address so . I assume the alias field is a hidden field and it is giving the same alias to both the delivery and billing address. Anyone no how to fix this Also is if possible to change the telephone number so there is just the choice to enter one telephone number instead of two. thanks in advance

Algunos clientes llaman quejándose de que no pueden terminar de registrarse cuando ya tienen los artículos en el carrito Si miras las fichas de clientes no se ha creado ninguno No he conseguido reproducir el error pero por lo que me comentan es el siguiente: Al meter los datos de la dirección, les dice que no hay ningún valor en alias Este campo es para nombrar las distintas direcciones que tiene un cliente. Por defecto debe poner "Mi dirección" o algo así, pero a estos clientes les da error con distintos navegadores Si crean la ficha primero y luego añaden la dirección desde la ficha de cliente no tienen ningún problema ¿alguna sugerencia de que puede estar pasando? Hi, I'm using PS 1.4.4.0. I think there is a problem using alias in search. Entering "iopd" as an alias for "ipod" and searching "iopd" in front office, research works perfectly. But if I enter "iopd" and another search term, eg "iopd 32gb", the search returns no results. Entering "ipod 32gb" the search works properly. Thanks in advance Enrico
