I am not sure if in v1.5 the values of categories in products_import.csv was numbers? ie. like 25,56,96 In the new v1.6 are we expecting alpha characters now i.e. names of categories rather than cat IDs? e.g. ipods,music-players,game-players products_import.csv sample from v1.6 Categories (x,y,z...) iPods iPods Laptops Laptops iPods Accessories Accessories -

Hello. Faced with the problem of the development of the module. In Prestashop 1.5.6 with switched off friendly URL, this function Tools::getValue('token'); returns a null value. Cash in back-office off, cookies and cache browser cleaned. With the friendly URL all work fine, the function returns a non-null value. What could be the problem? P.S. Good day! I was wondering is it possible to achieve in prestashop the dynamic product combination what I want to achieve is something like: Product Type: Type 1 Type 2 Type 1 Size: t1s1 -->> color: green, red t1s2 -->> color: black, orange Type 2 Size: t2s1 -->> color: yellow, pink t2s2 -->> color: white, gray let say the customer select on the 1st dropdown option(Product Type) is Type 1 then the available option on the 2nd dropdown(Size) is only t1s1 and t1s2, and if the t1s2 is selected the available option for the 3rd(color) is only black and orange. how do i achieve this in product combination or is there a module this kind? hope someone could shed a light.

Help please. Using PS1.5.5, I've configured the product.tpl->customizationform form to open fancybox-base images gallery. I'm trying to select the image and have it's name and image appear in the customization form (similar to file upload). Hi, PS ver. 1.4.8.2 I have a serious problem, in my shop I sell products from low value (eg from € 3,00) up to a value of € 1400,00 I have configured as the default country iTALY and as default courier RETREAT IN SHOP shipping charges are configured by weight and based on the method of shipment, via Italian Post Office, via courier, I have about 30 shipping methods, based on the weight and the country of destination Well, the customer (eg, French) decides to buy a product of the value of € 3,00 Put the product in the cart and proceed to checkout, the French customer in the drop-down menu located as default country Italy, changes Italy in France and surprise ! In the cart appears this inscription " " there is no shipping methods available for shipping address" At this point the customer puts another item in shopping cart and this time the shipping method and shipping costs are the right ones The customer cancels the latest product and like magic at this point appears again the just right shipping method and shipping costs ! Dear everyone, Since my product weight is always same (0.16 kg), i need to edit the defalut value of weight in creating new product. the default value is 0(zero) kg, i need to change it to 0.16 kg. where should i edit it? sorry for bad english. Thanks

Hi, When I import my products with a .csv file I have to modifiy in my database the column "custom" in my table ps_feature_value to keep all my products features otherwise they disappear. I found this query : UPDATE ps_feature_value SET custom='0'. It works well but it is boring to do it after each new import. Do you know if it is possible to set default custom value at 0 instead of 1 ? Thank you for our help Regards, Romain

Hello, I need for a module, on the back office, to create a select box to to display a list. Hello, I think I am going crazy... I need to change something in an attribute, on public name. After editing the public name of the attribute, click save, it says update succesfull, but nothing has changed... Of course, I deleted cookies, cache memory, from firefox and from regcurepro, restarted windows...but everything is the same. More, in firefox, and only in firefox, if i try to edit the attribute, I am asked for the password ( of the super admin), enter it, and again, without gaining acces to the attribute editing, just asking for the password... Everything begun when i wonted to add a new attribute, and after saving, there was nothing... To be more interesting, seems that sometimes ( and i can't see any logic) on front page it shows the changes i did. It is like I live in a parallel reality...who knows... -

Hello all, I have a problem with products that I want to sell using Prestashop engine. I have products that have different lenght, but the rest of dimensions are the same. I want to create a product with different values to choose from. I don't want to make those as separate products. The problem appears when it comes to shipment costs. In the new Presta 1.5 I can describe all dimensions of a product. But when I want to add a new value (lenght), it can only affect the weight of the product (and the price of course). Example: Product X Value 1 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 2450mm length - 28 kg weight - shipping cost 333 PLN Product X Value 2 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 2760mm length - 32 kg weight - shipping cost 460 PLN Product X Value 3 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 3060mm length - 36 kg weight - shipping cost 460 PLN If it's the only product, than I can calculate it by weight, but: Product XYX Value 1 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 2450mm length - 32 kg weight - shipping cost 333 PLN Product XYX Value 2 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 2760mm length - 36 kg weight - shipping cost 460 PLN Product XYX Value 3 - 96mm width X 120mm height X 3060mm length - 40 kg weight - shipping cost 460 PLN Do someone has an idea how to fix this problem?

Hi! I'm reposting this question, since I haven't got an answer yet. Maybe there is somenone who can help me with the following issue: ---- Since I've managed to solve quite many troubles regarding Prestashop using this forum I will give it another try. I am wondering whether there is any kind of module, option, voucher, coupon, change in the .php or .tpl code etc. for Prestashop (I still run 1.3 version and am planning to use it for at least a couple of months), which could offer you these options: - when a customer adds two products to the cart, the Prestashop system could automatically subtract the value/price of the cheapest item - when a customer adds four products to the cart, the Prestashop system could automatically subtract the value/price of the 2 cheapest items - etc. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this and how to do it? I would be glad and thankful for any of your advice. Thank you and best regards, Nina
