  1. Hi, I've been trying to change the words "Sign up to newsletter" in translations. I want the words to show as Get the latest first and 10% off your first order! I've tried many times but even though it will show as the translation has been saved, it will not show in the front office. I've realised that if i remove the "%" and the "!", it will show in the front office. Right now it shows as Get the latest first and 10 off your order which does not make any sense without the "%". Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like this.Any advise on how i can add the "%" to the sentence? Thanks in advance!
  2. hi! Still hoping for any advice on how to add a link back to the shopping cart. : )
  3. Hi! Walmart does have a very clean checkout page. I do agree that it's less distracting to customers. However, they do have a shopping cart icon at the top while Prestashop only has the Logo and a Contact Us link. I personally feel that a shopping cart link/ icon is essential in the checkout page. If I was a customer and wanted to make a change but could not find the link to do so, i would most likely give up and abandon the purchase. I would actually prefer to have a header-less and footer-less checkout but want to add the shopping cart icon in the header like in the walmart checkout page (image attached). Could anyone advise on how i could achieve this? TIA!
  4. Hi, thanks for your input! : ) The reason why i put the header back was because if the header was not there, and i (or a customer) was trying to checkout and wanted to make a change to the order .... add quantities/ delete something for eg. ..... there was no way to go back to the shopping cart. With the header there, i could click on the shopping cart again to make the changes i wanted. If the header is not meant to be there, could you suggest another way to go back to the shopping cart from the checkout page?
  5. Hi! I have the same issue as well. Any advice on how to solve this?
  6. Hi! When i was in the checkout part of my site, the footer and header did not show at all. I used your tip above and it shows now but doesnt show right. The first image is how it should look, while the second one is how it shows now. I would greatly appreciate any advise on how to fix it so it looks like it does in the home page.
  7. HI! Your reply made me realise that it was a module that was causing the trouble! Thank you! I used a Litextension module to migrate my shopify data over to prestashop and there was a conflict because of the difference between shopify and prestashop's customer ID format. The solution was: To reset the auto-increment ID of table customer, use the query: ALTER TABLE tablename AUTO_INCREMENT = value; example: ALTER TABLE ps_customer AUTO_INCREMENT = 1; Thank you once again Scully!
  8. Hi! When i try to place an order on my website (www.shoprepublicmarket.com), I am not able to go beyond to go pass the personal information section. When click on continue to go to the part where i fill up my address, nothing happens. I've turned on Debug mode and the error message is "Out of range value for column 'id_customer' at row 1" Below is the full error message. I don't know how to interpret what it means. Can someone help please? Thanks In advance! : ) [PrestaShopDatabaseException]Out of range value for column 'id_customer' at row 1 INSERT INTO `ps8l_customer` (`secure_key`, `lastname`, `firstname`, `email`, `passwd`, `last_passwd_gen`, `id_gender`, `birthday`, `newsletter`, `newsletter_date_add`, `ip_registration_newsletter`, `optin`, `website`, `company`, `siret`, `ape`, `outstanding_allow_amount`, `show_public_prices`, `id_risk`, `max_payment_days`, `active`, `deleted`, `note`, `is_guest`, `id_shop`, `id_shop_group`, `id_default_group`, `id_lang`, `date_add`, `date_upd`, `reset_password_token`, `reset_password_validity`) VALUES ('8ddfadc6699c19c6e83127b35ac52d5e', 'Jenner', 'Cheryl', 'custom@republicmarket.com.sg', '$2y$10$M0So81q8j5u699hiiSTViuHHaxOKRyLwcvhrKWppByCu0v0s3ag6u', '2017-07-10 18:49:45', '0', '0000-00-00', '0', '0000-00-00', '', '0', '', '', '', '', '0', '0', '0', '0', '1', '0', '', '1', '1', '1', '2', '1', '2017-07-11 00:49:45', '2017-07-11 00:49:45', '', '0000-00-00') at line 744 in file classes/db/Db.php 739. if ($webservice_call && $errno) { 740. $dbg = debug_backtrace(); 741.   9. Hi! Thanks for your reply. The thing is that i don't actually need such a module as it's way too expensive for my needs. all i want is to add a price to the product customisation option. Any ideas?
  10. Hi! When i try to save the configuration, i get this error: "Error opening file in /home/xxxxx/public_html/modules/customize/customize.php on line __LINE." Can you advise? Thanks!
  11. Hi! All my products can be personalised by adding a name/date/changing colour etc. I can make use of the product customization option for this so customers can add in their requests when placing order but i want to charge an additional cost for the personalisation on top of the cost of the product. anyone know of any module that can do this? or is there any way that i can do this?
  12. I have this problem too on 1.7.1. However it's OK on my laptop but showing this error on my staff's laptop. Any ideas what could be the issue?
