  1. Sorry but I can post a solution that I don't know, I paid him to fix this and other problems that came up.
  2. For anyone that runs into similar issues or has any other problems that you can't fix, please contact Jeevan as he resolved all issues that we were experiencing and our website is working extremely well and fast. His services are great and definitely worth considering as he knows what he's doing. Here's a link to his profile; https://www.prestashop.com/forums/user/224035-jeevanoss/

  4. Hi all, I'm looking for someone that's able to resolve these issues; URL: www.stopshop.co.za Prestashop version: 1.6.1.6 This website was working ok since it was upgraded from v1.4 to v1.6.1.6 a few months ago with the exception that when I tried to modify an existing product (or add a new product), then the changes would not save or appear in the front end but sometimes (maybe 1 out of 10 attempts) the changes would be saved successfully. I tried disabling the purchased theme and used the default theme to test but this did not help so then I enabled debugging and on the front end as well as in the back-office I immediately started seeing the following error messages appear; "Warning on line 1807 in file /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/controller/AdminController.php [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/stopshop/public_html/config/defines.inc.php:1)" *Line 1807 has the following; header('Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache'); Screenshots of these errors; http://prntscr.com/fp86yk http://prntscr.com/fp8bas The file that I suspect is causing the problem is located in; /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/controller/AdminController.php So I backed up this file and downloaded a more recent once from the Prestashop website (for v 1.6.1.15) and copied the new AdminController.php file one over to the server and this is when the website and back-office went offline. I then removed the new AdminController.php file that I had copied to the server and put the old/backed up file back to the server, but the problem persists and the website remains offline and as well as the back-office. Nothing was changed on the original file so I don't understand why putting it back wouldn't fix the problem and revert the website back to its original state. I then logged into WHM and did a Graceful Server Reboot which didn't help and then I did a Forceful Server Reboot and that too didn't help. I left both AdminController.php files on the server inside the /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/controller folder, the original file remains named AdminController.php and the other file which is the one that I had copied to the server from Prestashop v1.6.1.15 is named AdminController1.php I managed to get the front end to work by enabling the error reporting which showed that there was a problem with a module (blockfaq) so I changed its folder name to blockfaq0 (just so that it wouldn't be enabled but not removed or deleted fro the server) and so the front end started to work again. Since this is not the solution as I'm unable to access my back-office and the contact page on the front end is also no longer working, I decided to revert and change the name of the module folder from "blockfaq1" back to "blockfaq". So now, the front-end and back-office are both no longer working/loading again. I enabled error reporting so now when I visit the front end or back-office, the following error appears; Fatal error: Class 'AdminController' not found in /home/stopshop/public_html/modules/blockfaq/blockfaq.php on line 88 Additional info; Front end is; www.stopshop.co.za Back-office is; www.stopshop.co.za/admin1977 So this is the first part that needs to be fixed. The second part is that once the website is up and running again (as well as the back-office loading), I will then need to be able to edit/modify existing products as well as to add new products as this was not always possible since the website was upgraded to version 1.6.1.6 (from 1.4). This problem will need to be fixed and I'm not sure but I think it's cache related though this problem happens on different computers and on different browsers (with browser cache cleared on all). Payment terms to be discussed and agreed upon. I need an urgent quote for this and I need the job to be done as quickly as possible. Thank you for having a look at this post, I look forward to receiving your reply.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately disabling all non Prestashop module didn't help and I also disabled the theme that I'm running and used the PS standard theme but the problem persists. Any other suggestions that I could try? Thanks
  6. Hi guys, I'm running into a problem since we upgraded from version 1.4 to 1.6.1.6 a few months ago, I'm unable to create new products or save changes to exisitng products as the changes do not reflect even though sometimes (randomly) the changes take effect. I've enabled debugging and on the front end as well as in the back-office I immediately started seeing the following error message; "Warning on line 1807 in file /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/controller/AdminController.php [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/stopshop/public_html/config/defines.inc.php:1)" Line 1807 has the following; header('Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache'); Screenshots of these errors; http://prntscr.com/fp86yk http://prntscr.com/fp8bas Can someone please help or point me in the right direction or have a suggestion? Thanks!
  7. For anyone that has a similar problem.. My host upgraded the PHP version from 5.3 to 5.5 and that resolved the problem however, the next day the front end started giving issues which is likely unrelated as explained here; https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/551607-you-have-an-error-in-your-sql-syntax/
  8. Hi guys, When visiting the front end (any page), the following error appears; You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') GROUP BY id_category ORDER BY `level_depth` ASC, c.`position` ASC' at line 7 SELECT c.id_parent, c.id_category, cl.name, cl.description, cl.link_rewrite FROM `ps_category` c LEFT JOIN `ps_category_lang` cl ON (c.`id_category` = cl.`id_category` AND `id_lang` = 1) LEFT JOIN `ps_category_group` cg ON (cg.`id_category` = c.`id_category`) WHERE (c.`active` = 1 OR c.`id_category` = 1) AND `level_depth` <= 3 AND cg.`id_group` IN () GROUP BY id_category ORDER BY `level_depth` ASC, c.`position` ASC Any suggestions on how to fix this please? Thanks!
  9. Hi guys, We're running PS version 1.4.6.2 and the "Customer Service" tab has always taken a while to load but today it stopped loading altogether. The page tries to load and the spinning browser icon runs for many minutes but eventually it stops and shows the below error message. I haven't installed any modules and I've tried different browsers, different computers and also cleared browser cache but that didn't help. Any suggestions please? Thanks, Claude Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. 10. €5.00 might actually be too much if you take into consideration that I for example paid €100.00 to Robin (CartExpert.net) on the 22nd January 2014 to resolve an issue on my website which was not resolved as he has yet to complete the job. You could end up paying for something and not receiving it which makes it kind of expensive even if it's only €5.00 that you've paid.. I contacted Robin several times via private message to complete/resolve the issue on my website which he quoted me on and which I paid for in full as per his request, he eventually stopped responding to my messages so he ended up being paid for a job which he did not complete (6 months have now passed). More info here; http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/303317-help-store-bugs-need-to-be-resolved/?do=findComment&comment=1534362 In my honest experience, stay well clear of "CartExpert.net" and "Robin" as he has taken my money and has yet to complete the job. I'll make sure to put a bit more effort into letting others know of your dealings Mr. Robin.
  11. On the 22nd January I paid Robin (username "CartExpert.net") to resolve the problems described in this thread, full payment was made in advance into his Paypal account and he said that it would take 2-3 hours to resolve the problem. Today is the 6th May, more than 3 months have passed and the quoted work has not been completed/problems resolved not does Kevin reply to my last 2 messages dated 22nd March and 5th April. Below is a copy of my last message; "Hi Robin, My patience is starting to run out, how much longer do I need to wait for your reply not to mention that the quoted work (which was duly paid for) be completed? The problem has definitely not been resolved as we still have customers that say that items that are in their cart disappear after checking-out, so what exactly did I pay you for? I do not want to have to take measures into my own hands but I'm more than willing to pay someone that is capable to resolve this issue and also to let the community know exactly the service I've received from you." I will wait a few more days and if this is not resolved anytime soon then I will make sure that I post a review of my experience on forums, social media etc..
  12. Hi, I need a quotation to resolve the following issues with our website that various customers have been reporting about; 1) Customers cannot change currency 2) Customer adds a product to cart and after clicking on check-out, the product dissapears from the cart Notes: - Both the desktop and mobile versions of my site must be looked into as I think that most issues are actually more to do with the mobile site but the desktop version also has it's issues.. - Please report any other main issues that are picked up and the cost to resolve these - I must be made aware of when the site will be put into maintenance mode beforehand - Installed modules must not be uninstalled or updated - Payment for above services will be done via Paypal (payment terms to be discussed) - Please forward your quote via pm to resolve these issues for the below mentioned site as well as references of similar type of work done for other customers Website: www.desnav.com PS Version: 1.5.0.17 (must not to be update to a newer version because of certain modules that we have that only supports this version) Payments Methods: Bank Wire & Paypal Courier Companies: None (not required) Host: Hostgator cPanel Version: 11.40.1 (build 9) SSL: Yes Dedicated IP: Yes
  13. Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately it had no affect and the problem persists. Is it possible that the actual editor has a problem? I have a site running v1.4.6.2 and the same HTML code works 100% fine on that site, should I maybe try replacing the editor used in the faulty site with the one that's being used in the working site and if so, how would I do this? Just to make sure this wasn't a theme related issue, I've tested it with the default theme, force compiled and disabled cache then retested, same problem.. :-S
