  1. Hi All, I found the solution. In fact the official documentation is a little bit unclear about the location of the TPL file. In the first sight, I thought that the TPL should be in the same folder as the PHP file: i.e. MyModule/controllers/front but after googling, I found a post that mention that the TPL have to be placed in the following folder: MyModule/views/templates/front Cordially, Mohamed Belhassen
  2. Hi Genie/ALL, I face the same problem as yours, Did you find a solution for your problem? I followed all steps mentioned in this official documentation: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Displaying+content+on+the+front-office all things work well up to reaching the section "Embedding a template in the theme". In fact, I get a fatal error and my apache error log mention the following error: "[sat Nov 29 23:03:40.405937 2014] [:error] [pid 25895] [client 41.230.241.227:32878] PHP Fatal error: Class 'documentsenderdisplayModuleFrontController' not found in /var/www/clients/client1/web1/web/prestashop/classes/controller/Controller.php on line 135" Note that myModule is called documentsender I created the mentioned folder structure under modules folder. MyModule is called "documentsender" see the joinded file to see all the content of my module folder Please assist me to bypass this fatal error. Cordially, Mohamed Belhassen documentsender.tar.gz
  3. Hi all, I requested my hosting company to edit the php.ini accordingly to resolve the problem, Now, the edit forms are successfully shown but when I click update translations I get an internal server error (code 500). when seeing the recorded error logs in the CPanel, I didn't found something indicating the source of the error. Is there someone whoes faced something like that?
  4. Thanks for the quick reply, I know that I am a member of the community But as starter in this framework, I need some guidance from experienced users. I followed the translation steps but it does not working as expected. For example the back office is partially translated to french although the mentioned translation percentage is set to 100% for french for example. When I try to edit manually the translation, I get the following error which is related to a constant value used by PHP: Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars. Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1438 at least or edit the translation file manually. I contacted the hosting service to increase the value of this var to a higher one but the error persists. Could you please assist me to resolve this issue. Finally, I have posted several bugs related to Newsletter, facebook modules and I didn't received any answers. That is why I feel unsatisfied by the forum community.
  5. The main thing that attracted me to use presta consists in its so called active community, But, in practice I have just 1 valid answer to 5 submitted topics.
  6. Dear Sir, I post my question otherwise, Is it possibe to translate the front office automaticaly to other languages? if yes how? Cordially,
  7. Hi, I am wondering how can I make a given product appearing in the featured product section. My second question is about Newsletter module: How can I manage the mailing list: export csv, send mail to a given group of registered users , etc. Thanks for the help
  8. Hi, By following the translating steps, I succeeded the translation of the back office from english to french, but the front office remains unchanged: I tested the "Add / Update a language" and Import a language pack manually tool. Is there any one to assist me? Cordially,
  9. Hi all, When I try to download prestashop, the website request me to select a hosting pack, I would like to know if I could install my prestashop in my own website through cpanel. Note that my hosting company do not offer prestashop by default in the auto installer script. Cordially
