  1. Nemo1, the backoffice does not allow me to transplant the module to the footer. I have a better idea, do you know a shop made in prestashop that currently is using the Newsletter Block in the frontpage or other pages?
  2. Hi Nemo1, I have tried to transplant the module using the Live Edit but the module does not appear at all. The module is Newsletter block v1.4 Essentially the project requires to add the Newsletter subscription module in the footer in the same way like www.zappos.com Any advice how to solve it is highly appreciated.
  3. Hi guys, After enable the Newsletter Block from backoffice the module is not showing at all. I have tried to re-install the module without any results. The Newsletter Block version is 1.4. The PrestaShop version is This a link to the home page: http://www.anitakremer.com/presta/en/ Any help on how to enable the Newsletter block is highly appreciated.
  4. Hi guys! I have added a H2 to the products page, but the H2 is showing the same data like the H1.So essentially what I am trying to figure out is: - Add a H2 title differentiated from the H1 tag (Not the same info like the H1). - How to add a style to the H2 (font,size,etc.). - How to add customized text to the H2 on every single page of products (it is possible from the backoffice?). At this point the product pages are looking like this: http://www.anitakremer.com/presta/en/home/[spam-filter]thong-embroidery-lycra-chic-collection.html The goal to reach is similar like this http://www.victoriassecret.com/bras/very-sexy/push-up-bra-very-sexy?ProductID=179343&CatalogueType=OLS This is the code added: <div id="pb-left-column"> <h2>{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</h2> <h1>{$product->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</h1> {if $product->description_short OR $packItems|@count > 0 Your help is highly appreciated.
  5. general experts, answering your point # 2: go to: modules/blocksearch/blocksearch-top.tpl Find this code: <input class="search_query" type="text" id="search_query_top" name="search_query" value="{if isset($smarty.get.search_query)}{$smarty.get.search_query|htmlentities:$ENT_QUOTES:'utf-8'|stripslashes}{/if}" /> And replace for this: <input class="search_query" type="text" id="search_query_top" name="search_query" value="{if isset($smarty.get.search_query)}{$smarty.get.search_query|htmlentities:$ENT_QUOTES:'utf-8'|stripslashes}{else}{l s='This is my customized text' mod='blocksearch'}{/if}" onfocus="if(this.value=='{l s='This is my customized text' mod='blocksearch'}')this.value='';" onblur="if(this.value=='')this.value='{l s='This is my customized text' mod='blocksearch'}';" /> Replace "This is my customized text" by your own text.
  6. I really appreciate your help guys on this matter. Just pending to figure out how to fix the button search in size.
  7. Safa, according to your advice I did some changes in the global ccs on height and width. Now I would like to add the magnifier glass icon, and resize the Search button to match the search box size. where on the code I can put the icon url and how would be the code. The below is the current code: #search_block_top {height:43px;position:absolute;right:170px;top:124px;} #search_block_top label {display:none;float:left;padding:8px 5px 0 5px;} #search_block_top input.search_query {margin:0px 3px 0 0;float:left; height:23px; line-height:23px; border:2px solid #e5e5e5; padding:0 10px 0 10px;width:200px; position:relative; vertical-align:middle;} #search_block_top a {height:22px;padding:3px 10px 0 10px;display:block;float:left;background:#444444;color:#fff;font-weight:italic; font-size:12px;text-decoration:none;text-align:center;} #search_block_top a:hover{ background:#f48b47;} .ac_results {width:232px !important;border:none !important; position:absolute; left:0; top:0;} .ac_results ul {} .ac_results ul li {font:normal 12px "Arial" !important;color:#fff;cursor:pointer; padding:10px;} .ac_results ul li img{ margin-right:10px; margin-bottom:7px; float:left;} .ac_results ul li.ac_even {background:#3a3a3a;} .ac_results ul li.ac_odd {background:#3a3a3a;} .ac_results ul li:hover {background:#f48b47;color:#fff;}
  8. Not pretty sure how to do it. Do you think it is enough deleting the module and pasting it on the theme folder? The current website looks like this www.anitakremer.com
  9. Hello everyone! any idea how to enable images for modules such as cross selling, or specials? The shop is using a paid template. So most probably it is necessary to fix the css but not pretty sure. You can see an example of the issue here http://www.anitakremer.com/presta/en/home/112-v-string-lace-lycra-chic-collection.html where the specials module at the right hand is not showing any image. Your help guys.
  10. Paulito, I downloaded and installed the htmlbox and I wrote code to the footer as well. But the issue is still the same: a question mark. I'm pretty sure that it is necessary to configure the image settings at certain point. Please see the images attached, may be you have a clue how to solve it.
  11. Detelin, I did changes on height and width but those changes are not reflected on the shop. The shop uses a paid template, may be that's why. Any idea how to make those changes modifying the default format of the template?
  12. Hello everyone! I have to implement this challenge: customize the search box like the www.zappos.com In plain English this is what I need: - Set up the search box bigger in high and length. - Add a more noticeable border: thicker and in a different color. - Last but not least the Search button requires a magnifier glass icon. The above changes will increase the call to action in order to use the search box by the customers. Any expert advice is highly appreciated.
  13. Hi guys, I have tried to add an image to the footer but appears a big question mark instead. This is the code that I added: <div id="footer"> <img src="footer_images/my image.jpg" alt="logo"> {$HOOK_FOOTER} </div> I guess the issue is on the src location of the image (some forums talk about the concept of "default ", no idea what it is). Another possible issue is related with the CSS. The shop uses a paid template. Last but not least another forums talk about the friendly URL's. Any idea how to solve this issue is really appreciated.
  14. Hi guys, The solution that you had proposed didn't work. I fix the problem in this way: - I enable the debug for errors: /config/config.inc.php I changed: @ini_set('display_errors', 'off'); for this code: @ini_set('display_errors', 'on'); - When I selected the modules menu the back office show me the error at one particular file of the shop specifying the line number of the error. - I re-installed the corrupted file through the FTP (I was playing doing some modifications on that file, that's why the error) - I set back the errors debug to @ini_set('display_errors', 'off'); Now the problem is fixed. Thank you anyway.
  15. I am scared to do any configuration on the files and mess all the website up. At this point the back office and front office are showing "Internal Server Error" quite often. I just want to set back the site as it was running well one week ago. A second opinion is really appreciated.
