  2. Looking for payment modules for nochex or anything really as im fed up with pay pal, im losing custom as haven;t got a good payment module im using google cart witch does not work properly and im after a module witch people do not have to register to make a payment any ideas??

  3. this was taken from a post where somewhere says they solved it, but i dont know wher ei can get access to edit the validation.php

    I’ve solved my gcheckout problem. took lots of reading on the web but this is what I found out:
    your webhost has to have php in apache mode. if it has php in cgi mode this is what you need to do:
    go to cpanel and Security section and click on Password Protect Directories. choose the directory /modules/gcheckout/library.
    enter the user as your merchant id and the password as the merchant key. enter in the Name the protected directory box anything you want.
    then you have to edit the validation.php file in /modules/gcheckout/ (comment out a line)
    find this line:
    $status = $Gresponse->HttpAuthentication(); if(!$status) die(‘authentication failed’);
    and change it to this:
    /*$status = $Gresponse->HttpAuthentication();
    if(!$status) die(‘authentication failed’); */
    after you go from sandbox mode to real mode don’t forget you’ll have to change the user and password for that library directory to your real id and key not the sandbox ones.
    hope this helps someone else.

  4. this is all i get every day, I get notification from google but the order does not enter the back office, due to the module not creating a SSL validation.php, there is 1000's of threads with people with the same problem and have just given up as no one can help us... people are posting that if you manually edit the validation.php

  5. My google cart is not working and i complained to google cart witch have said its a problem with my presta cart, please see email below.. and would appreciate help to fix my cart.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your email.

    The error in your integration console is "We encountered an error trying
    to access your server at
    https://ukdreamshop.admin.prestabox.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php
    -- the error we got is Send failed with code: 401. Response body was:
    Invalid Merchant Id/Key Pair"

    This means that your server is not accepting connections from the user
    and password . Please contact your cart
    provider with this error and ask them why this is happening as there could
    be a lot of reasons.

    Maybe the user and password needs to be added
    to your system trusted list of users that have access to
    https://ukdreamshop.admin.prestabox.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php

    Your cart provider should be able to help.

    Please feel free to visit our Help Center at
    http://checkout.google.com/support/sell if you have any additional
    questions. Alternatively, you can visit
    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/checkout-merchants?hl=en to reach
    out to other Checkout merchants for troubleshooting tips.
