  1. Well if your native language is not english than it doesn't matter how well planned the update is you have to translate the same shop over and over again, what is more stupid you have to adapt the translation to your shop as always there are two ways to translate the same word in any language. Since language files are in separate files there is no easy comparing tool to help you. I have to manualy load each file (old an new translation) to Kdiff3 and compare them edit them etc. That is nonsense. I do not update my shop as I do not process credit cards I don't need new features or top of the line security if it means I must translate again and again and again just to continue running myshop. If you read my post above that states "By the way I can't understand added removed code line in translation that translate the same thing only code part differs. IT's nonsense to translate this way."
  2. Well any news on this? When we can see (if ever) a upgrade plocy based on patches???
  3. well I can't understand it either, I too use joomla. Why prestashop does not use patch method is beyond me. I would also like to comment on translation too, why not use single file, why multiple? It's crazy. By the way I can't understand added removed code line in translation that translate the same thing only code part differs. IT's nonsense to translate this way. I'm looking forward to changing to other e-commerce solution because of this.
  4. Tried to upgrade v1.3.2 to latest v1.4.1.0 got these errors: Your shop version is now 1.4.1.0 Unfortunately, 4 SQL errors have occurred. ALTER TABLE `ps_order_detail` ADD `reduction_percent` DECIMAL(10, 2) NOT NULL AFTER `product_price` (1060) Duplicate column name 'reduction_percent' ALTER TABLE `ps_order_detail` ADD `reduction_amount` DECIMAL(20, 6) NOT NULL AFTER `reduction_percent` (1060) Duplicate column name 'reduction_amount' INSERT INTO `ps_configuration` (`name`, `value`, `date_add`, `date_upd`) VALUES ('PS_1_3_2_UPDATE_DATE', NOW(), NOW(), NOW()) (1062) Duplicate entry 'PS_1_3_2_UPDATE_DATE' for key 2 ALTER TABLE `ps_zone` DROP `enabled` (1091) Can't DROP 'enabled'; check that column/key exists How can fix this?
  5. Hi, I can't seem to find where in BO I can see what products my clients are waiting to get back in stock? I see table "ps_mailalert_customer_oos" is MySQL where user email address is being registered. But where I can see this in Back Office?
  6. Hi, I tried to add flash clip using built in code editor, the clip does not work (doesn't even show up). Furthermore I tried to add some code to show image rollover effect (you hover the mouse over the image and the image changes). onMouseOver="document.MyImage2.src='www.soemsite.com/image1.jpg';" onMouseOut="document.MyImage2.src='www.soemsite.com/image2.jpgg';"> What I'm doing wrong here?
  7. Well I hoped it will be fixed in v1.4, if core features and believe me "combinations" - is a core feature is only "fixed" in paid module $115.00 Now that is not 10$ or 25$, so bye bye opensource. Heck for that price you can buy ready made shop will all bells and whistles. Now don't get me wrong, Prestashop is a very nice solution I use it myself, but I don't get it all add-ons are very expensive. At least 75$ to 150$, I would like to ask the programmer are you nuts or just paying broken ???? If Prestashop had really "More than 40.000 shops use PrestaShop throughout the world!" and 10% buy this then Prestochangeo would be millionaires with 46.000.00$ for just this overpriced module. Now everyone can set their own price point, but as I said IMHO all modules for Prestashop is overpriced and the idea of opensource is a lie altogether, because you take the shop start to use it, notice that it can't do this and that, but wait you can purchase plugins and modudes. Great you think until you start counting that all of them 5 or 8 plugins would cost you like 600$
  8. Hi, I', using latest prestashop 1.3.2. Everything was fine until I decided to use some combinations for my products. Prestashop generated some 50.000 combinations ??? Just from ~10 dropdown boxes? My server apache log has: ine 2428, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446ba [Mon Nov 22 03:09:39 2010] [error] [client 86.100.72.xxx] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446ba [Mon Nov 22 03:10:54 2010] [error] [client 86.100.72.xxx] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446ba [Mon Nov 22 03:12:57 2010] [error] [client 86.100.72.xxx] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446ba [Mon Nov 22 03:16:09 2010] [error] [client 86.100.72.xxx] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446ba [Mon Nov 22 03:23:27 2010] [error] [client 86.100.72.xxx] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /var/www/da-home/xsdwe3/domains/xxx/public_html/shop/admin123/tabs/AdminProducts.php on line 2428, referer: http://xxx/shop/admin123/index.php?tab=AdminCatalog&id_product=22&updateproduct;&token;=1f53b15ca64969bc134d34dd670446b I tried to investigate this and found this blog post: http://www.nickbartlett.com/wordpress/prestashop-combinations-suck/ So apparently this is not something new, and since prestashop just used 128MB RAM (I'm on shared hosting) for editing combinations on back end how can it ever work even with say 1GB RAM if you have tens of products? Has anyone done anything to improve combinations feature? Perhaps in version 1.4 anyone ?
  9. Hold on, I was this post you were referring to? http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/33071/general_discussion/slovedissue_with_subcategories I fixed my problem with CSS hack, I use gloss_lite theme and that line was missing in global.css
  10. NC means? I tried to search the forum, but as you said the search is very weak.
  11. Anyone? Here is the screenshot to be more clear: see the problem screenshot
  12. I have under Home my category "Cat1", then inside 2 sub categories "subCat1""subCat2" The problem is that category names (shown under subcategory images) are long and they look like on single line. Is there a way to force a wrap or remove the text so that subcategory images would be shown but no text? Thank you.
Is kur tas izulumas? Savo laiku man padejo su senos versijos vertimu. O i nauja versija as saito versti nesimsiu, kai programeriai daro tokias nesamones kol veikia tol veikia. Paskui desiu magento ar ka nors panasaus.
