  1. I'm a prestashop newbie, which has thousands of users and developers; though my question is ridiculous it could happen that maybe someone could help me out, with a sample database, data generator or something else. I was certainly not expecting that someone would share with me a database in use... Tomerg3, we are precisely creating orders from the front end, the problem is that we need to spread them between months and years. In that sense, we've observed the database tables (related to orders) and i would like to confirm: if i create a simple order with some products and with today's date, and then change columns "date_add" and "date_upd" to a specific date like "2012-07-09 02:27:47", which are the related tables that i must (consistently) update? - the related cart columns "date_add " and "date_upd" in table ps_cart - the related columns "date_add " and "date_upd" in customer thread and order_history Assuming that this is a simple test in database, without messages in ps_message, information payments in ps_payments_cc, and related information in stock_mvt, order return and order_slip tables) Regards
  2. Hi, i've started a business intelligence academic work over a prestashop database, the problem is that (and i didn't knew) i only have 1000 products in the database and nothing more. My group has created 15 users and simulated some orders, the problem is that we need to create 1000's of orders, preferently in the last two or three years. That's why i've created a similar topic where i ask for some prestashop sample database.
  3. Yes, i know it will be difficult to help me out here, but maybe someone has a database for tests...
  4. Hi, i'm developing an academic business intelligence work over a prestashop mysql database, but i have only a very small number of orders. So i'd like to ask if there is someone that has a sample database that could i use. I have absolutely no "comercial" interest in client details, i only need to have a considerable number of orders and all the related information, to analyse values such as "sells by month/year". Regards
  5. Hi, i'm developing a business intelligence work over a prestashop mysql database, but i have only a very small number of orders. So i'd like to ask if there is any data generator for my sql? regards
  6. Hi, i'm developing a BI academic work over Prestashop mysql database. I would like if someone could confirm this logic in SQL Server ( to develop the datawarehouse): - to calculate the number of connections by day i should use table ps_connections and count records, filtering by each "date_add" - to calculate the number of visits by day (being a visit a computer with some internet address, independently of being a registered customer or a visit), i should use table ps_connections and count distinct "ip_address", filtering by each "date_add" - to calculate the number of clients that have visited the store by day, i must "go" (through "id_guest"...) from ps_connections to ps_guest, and count the records with "id_customer" diferent than 0 (zero), filtering by each "date_add" - to calculate the number of rejections by day, and assuming that a rejection is a user that enters one single page and leaves the site, i must "go" from ps_connections to ps_connections_page (trough "id_connections"...) and count if the number of records is equal to 1. Kind regards
*** Obrigado.
  11. Hello, i'm a completely prestashop.com newbie. I need to develop a SQL Server Business Intelligence solution over a prestashop site store. The ideia is to program SQL Server to read information from the database and do the "usual" BI (best sold products, etc.), such as BI over the site navegation information. I'd like to ask: - does prestashop, or any extra module, include BI? - Where can i get the documentation to fully understand the database and the program? Kind regards, from Portugal.
