  1. I'm having the same issues, anyone know what the cause is? It only happens sometimes, its when i change the order status or enter a trackign number, only occurs on the orders page in the backend.
  2. I've been looking for days for a fix to get the layered navigation price slider to work properly as well as the sort by price option on the product list pages. Currently, the layered navigation slider only takes in to account the full price when filtering products, I would like for it to use the actual price that the product is on sale for. It looks unprofessional if they have a slider set to $30-$40 and you have items showing up that cost $20. Also, the sort by price option on the product list pages also sorts by the full price, and not by the actual price of the product. I'm using PS 1.5.2 with the Elation Liquid Theme and the site is located here: http://67.222.9.31/~aagweb PM me or post below please. This is kind of urgent, I can pay directly via Paypal if you have some previous history with jobs on this forum or go through a service like elancer or freelancer.com.
  3. Hi I have block wishlist setup on a custom theme and the thumbnail is not showing up on the Wishlist Page in the My Account section. The products are all multi-attributed. The code I have to show the image is: <img src="{$link->getImageLink($product.link_rewrite, $product.id_image, 'small')}" alt="{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" /> But when displayed in html, the URL for the image is: http://67.222.9.31/~aagweb/-small/jorge-running-wild-muscle-tank.jpg The HTML code is missing the product ID, it should say: http://67.222.9.31/~aagweb/46-small/jorge-running-wild-muscle-tank.jpg but I can't figure out how to get the ID in to the URL and the only topic I found has outdated links to the solution: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-4440
  4. I got a template that I am modifying but I don't know how to add a image rollover effect to the category page. Basically, when a user hovers over the product thumbnail, i would like to display the alternative image (2nd image) so they can get a good idea of the features. Basically, this simple: http://helplogger.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/create-rollover-image-effect-change.html The guy I bought the template from can't do it for some reason. I will email you the new site I am working on and our current site to show you exactly what it should look like. Please let me know how much it will cost in your message. Looking for someone that can do it this week. Can pay over freelancer sites or paypal or whatever.
  5. Sent you a PM. I design high quality themes based on existing themes. Check the PM for my latest work. I have experience working with fairly large online retailers in Australia and english is my first language.
  6. $60 for customizing a theme? If it's just the home page, then it makes sense. But you have dozens of files that need to be edited which can take anywhere from a full day to a couple of weeks depending on the complexity of the design. Would help if you could post the site you want the shop to look like and the link to the theme in order to assess how long it would take.
  7. Same issues, not working for 1.3.1.1, anybody have an idea how to fix this?
  8. Am having the same issues, need to sort from XS to XL but it's putting them alphabetically. Anyone know a fix? rocky's fix does not work in Prestashop 1.3.1.1. changed "ORDER BY al.`name`" to "order by a.`id_attribute`" and no changes at all. tried other variations and nothing happens.
  9. late to the party, just want to clarify something... If I am on a VPS server, can I install Joomla and host a website and add prestashop in to a subdirectory of the initial install without a problem? Obviously I would keep the DB separate. I am a bit confused as I have found this module and don't quite get what it is good for if you can already install joomla and prestashop on the same server. Thanks in advance.
  10. Did you test this out and it works? Which PrestaShop version does it work with?
  11. Well, I did a bit of testing and realized it's only the index page of the BO is veeeery slow, where PrestaShop's news feed can be found advising of updates and the job position in paris.... If I click on any other tabs, the BO is normal speed. Google Page Speed Test tells me that I should minimize request size to reduce latency. I suspect the RSS feed i causing the dramatic slow down. Anyone else experiencing this recently?
  12. Thanks...How uncomplicated is it to upgrade to 1.3? Is the stable version out yet? I thought it was still at RC stage? Am a bit apprehensive to update, as we have over 5000 unique visitors every week.
  13. I am not having issues with the Front office, but my Back Office has been pretty slow lately. Will this help speed up things? How do I debug the Back Office loading times? I don't use customer groups.
  14. Ok, i did what the link told me, now it's dropped from 81/100 to 79/100?! Do I need to link to the gzipped file instead of the css file in my headers now?
  15. I'm with Hostgator on a VPS plan, do I ask them to do it for me? EDIT: Nevermind, found how to do it! http://support.hostgator.com/articles/cpanel/how-to-use-gzip
  16. How do I properly setup GZIP? I tried 3 different tutorials I found on Google and none of them worked. Is there a definitive way? Is that done in CPanel / WHM?? Any help is appreciated.
  17. Holy crap, this made a huge difference, I assumed it was automatically set to cache!
  18. Hi Guys, First, thanks to iondarie for making a lightbulb go off, I was always wondering why my feed showed just 6 products, and it turns out it only shows the 6 I have featured on the home page, feel quite stupid for not picking up on that. Now my question, I would like to use this feed as a product feed that I can submit to Shopping Comparison sites so they can display my products automatically, for instance with getprice.com.au an myshopping.com.au How would I go about implementing a feed that displays all my products, from newest to oldest, so I can submit it to relevant sites for advertising??? Am I correct to assume, that if I use thethreedegrees method of displaying an X number of items in the feed, then the other sites will only pick up the newest additions and not the older stuff??? Any info is greatly appreciated!
  19. PrestaShop has sooooo much potential, but the lack of moderators/developers in the forums is what is keeping it from taking the CMS to the next level. I guess we will be waiting on this for eternity.
