  1. Thank you for the clarification, sounds good. OT: Unfortunately the way Prestashop handles digital products was dramatically changed in 1.6: In versions up to 1.5.6.2 it works like this: We upload product images to /tmp/ and bulk-populate the shop by importing the virtual products using a CSV-file. The video-file itself has not been uploaded, so Prestashop throws a warning that the file is missing along with the path to ex. .../mystore/download/81ad4bd3bb7f16c3174a3792a8501171e4acfe6. This hash is vital for the success here; once a customer orders his/her unique video it is is edited, rendered and then FTP'd to the downloads-folder in PS. There it is renamed using the aforementioned hash. Hitting F5 on the product-page and presto there is no file missing anymore and the file can be cleared for download.
  2. Sorry to hear that you removed both these versions in one go; I'm on 1.5.6.2 as this is the last PS version that handles virtual products in a way that suits my needs. Can I expect that the module stops working in the near future? Rgds, DaBouncer
  3. Changing order state sends two mails

    I see, thanks. DaBouncer
  4. Changing order state sends two mails

Thanks, that solved it But I would like to know why two mails were sendt? DaBouncer
  5. Changing order state sends two mails

Yes, I created it myself. It is set to send email, but not two... What could cause this? DaBouncer
  6. Changing order state for Virtual products to available for download sends two mails; one that does not contain a link to the file(s) only the {virtualProducts}; how can I avoid two mails being sent? The file being sent (twice) is /public_html/my_store/themes/default/mails/no/download_product.html In Advanced Parameters > E-mail only Send email in HTML format is selected PrestaShop™ 1.5.6.2 DaBouncer
  7. I'm on v1.5.6.2 Did you delete /public_html/YOURSERVER/cache/class_index.php ?
  8. I created and added /override/classes/Message.php according to above code, but did not work for me without a <?php at the very top of the file. Excellent override, thanks!
  9. [MODULE] Sales Tax Reports

EDITED: Just tried v1 but it does not work on Prestashop v1.5.6.2, but it does not calculate tax on shipping. Saved me a lot of work anyhow, so thanks!
  10. We are about to relaunch in Prestashop 1.5.6.2 in a subfolder below our main site (Joomla 2.5.1.9 with the JSN Pixel template). We have started tweaking the default Prestashop theme to make it look more like the main site, but it needs a bit more work: The main site is a two column design; no left column so center (now left/center) needs to have correct spacing on the right side. The menu needs to look and act as on the Joomla site; with (for now) the following main menu items; Home | Gift Cards | Video | T-shirts | Gear. And then sub-items below. Also it would be nice to have the same look on the search-box and a language-selector for Norwegian and English only, with the other flags there but grayed out. The box-headers need to have the same height as in Joomla. Footer needs to look like in Joomla; except we need the CMS part from Prestashop The login has been moved to the right column, but it is to wide at the moment. Site-Map/Sidekart needs to be removed from the header. Contact/Kontakt moved from header to main-menu and linked to joomla-contact URL. Please PM me with your references of similar work and I will provide more details (URL, preview etc.). Rgds, DaBouncer
  11. [SOLVED] Bulk-generate virtual products

    Still looking...
  12. Hi, We currently handle +700 visitors each season of which 150-200 purchase their personal video. The distribution is by download, but the editing (and uploading) is not done until the purchase has been made. We do however populate the catalog so that each of our visitors can identify the correct video. So far Prestashop is the only shopping-cart we have found that supports the way we handle the online-catalog both pre- and post sales. The process is quite time-consuming, but to maintain control over the distribution we find it nessecary. Please let me explain how it it done: We bulk-generate the products from CSV and then manually edit each of them by ticking it off as a 'virtual/downloadable product' and then assign an unique name for the video-file (ex. 10aug130001.mp4). Because the file itself has not been uploaded Prestashop warns me that the file is missing along with the path to ex. .../mystore/download/81ad4bd3bb7f16c3174a3792a8501171e4acfe6 This hash is vital for the success here; after a sale the unique video is edited, rendered and then FTP'd to the downloads-folder and renamed using the beforementioned hash. Hitting F5 on the product-page and presto there is no file missing anymore and the file can be cleared for download. The bulk-import part is working fine, but we would like to be able to automate the process where the product is transformed to a virtual product. It does not need to be implemented as an admin function of Prestashop; a sql-script will do the trick, but of course a module would be very nice. We are looking for someone that can solve this issue before the end of May; please PM your price offer. If any more information is needed, please use this forum so that the community may benefit.
  13. Hi, I'm considering taking my 1.4.7 store to the next level (1.6.0.6), but I ran into some differences that might force me to stay: I (more or less) exclusively use the store to distribute small videos. The process is as follows; I generate virtual products from CSV and then manually edit them one by one by ticking it off as a 'downloadable product' and giving it a unique name (ex. 10aug130001.mp4) > as there has not been uploaded anything it warns me that the file is missing along with the path to ex. .../mystore/download/81ad4bd3bb7f16c3174a3792a8501171e4acfe6 This hash is vital for the success here; only after a customer has purchased his/hers unique video it will be rendered and uploaded; I then FTP the file '10aug130001.mp4' into the downloads-folder and rename it using the beforementioned hash. Hitting F5 on the product-page and presto there is no file missing anymore. Unfortunately it seems as v.1.6.0.6 does not issue the same warning and so I'm unable to locate the hash associated with the filename; does anyone with first-hand knowledge of the newer versions know how to find the hash? Thanks
  14. I had the same thing happening after updating from 1.4.7.0 via 1.4.10.0 to 1.5.4 I removed all imported modules (that is not in v1.5.4) and got it working.
