  1. Hello, I am implementing multi-store on a clients ecommerce shop. We will have 3 stores that will share customers, carts, orders, etc, but not products. I want to configure each store with it's own payment solution, so that the money coming in from each store goes to the appropriate bank accounts etc. I know this is easily done as I already began setting it up. The main question I have is about the following scenario. Suppose a customer adds an item from Store A to his cart, then proceeds to add an item from Store B to the cart and then checks out on Store B. Which store does the money go to since the order contains products from both stores? Can the money be separated appropriately? Or will the money go to the account associated with the Store that the user is viewing when he finalizes his order? Thanks for any information Josiah M. Tech Fire LLC Design, Development, Hosting
  2. I've thought about doing that, but it may be nice to be able to create each user. It seems to me it wouldn't take much to bypass the validation check for those fields. But I spoke with my manager today, he seems to like you idea, so that may be what we'll do... unless someone on here can point me to how the validation of email and password fields can be skipped.
  3. I would like to figure this out as well? Is there a module out there for this? Seems like it'd be a pretty simple thing to do.
  4. Hi, I need to be able to create orders through the back office for customers that don't have an email address. So I need to be able to create customer accounts without email address and without passwords, (customer login will be disabled). How do I go about making the email and password field not required ONLY for customer accounts created by an employee through the back office. Registrations on the front office will still be required to supply email and password. I have tried editing /controllers/admin/AdminCustomersController.php and changing it. To not require email address change array( 'type' => 'text', 'label' => $this->l('Email address:'), 'name' => 'email', 'size' => 33, 'required' => true ), to array( 'type' => 'text', 'label' => $this->l('Email address:'), 'name' => 'email', 'size' => 33, 'required' => false ), But this did no good except remove the red * next to the email field. It will displays error if you leave the email field blank. I have not attempted the password field yet because it looked more complicated, and it's not absolutely necessary as we can just use a default password on these accounts. Please help me out here
  5. I'm using Prestashop and had this problem before I upgraded from 1.5.4 I'm using Paypal (latest version). If I go into myPHPadmin I can delete the duplicate payment entry from tables ps_order_invoice_payment and ps_order_payment, the error goes away, but I have to do this after each order. For some reason it is duplicating the payment record in the database, there are no other duplicated entries that I have found. I have to agree with jareq, it shows the errors on the online version, but my EXACT copy of the database and files on my localhost server works fine, it does NOT add the duplicate entries like the online server does. (I'm hosting on iPage.com)

I tried adding my html to the end of modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl and my css to the end of modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl Nothing would show up even if i removed the display:none; in the css. So I moved my html code into themes/default/product.tpl and I can get the message to display if I leave out display:none; in the css. Now I have added the ajax code to the ajax-cart.js and I set the css to display:none; However when I add a product to the cart it doens't show the message as I had hoped.   7. Hello, yes you can do this. If you know a little bit of html you can use your FTP client to navigate to /mails/en/ find the template you wish to edit and open it, make your changes and save it. Be sure you get your html syntax correct so it actually displays correctly to your customers. Or you can use this free module, it works great for me when I don't feel like writing any code.
  8. Hello, I'm having the same problem. Although for me it only doubles the order price in the "Payment" section on the order page. The total at the bottom is correct. Also in my Paypal account the charges are correct. I work in IT and it's anoying our sales team, I've informed them to continue and not hold back on completing orders however this is something we need to get fixed soon. I will be digging in to this to try to find a fix and will post back here if I turn up anything worth mentioning. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help us out! TFS P.S. I attached a screen shot.

  10. Hello Friends, I will describe the complete chain of events that preceded this problem. Earlier today my coworkers and I were adding products to our store. We ran into a difficulty with the attributes not working. We are using the Attributes Wizard Pro from Presto-Changeo. http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/attribute-modules/34-attribute-wizard-pro.html I figured out that it was because the attribute wizard had never finished being installed. So after checking I found that I needed to finish making the modifications to the code. I modified the following files per the instructions in the Attribute Wizard Pro module. Simply replacing certain lines of code in the following files. Changes had already been made to all the other necessary files. candl/march_7_13/psadmin/themes/default/template/controllers/carts/helpers/view/view.tpl candl/march_7_13/modules/blockcart/ajax-cart.js candl/march_7_13/modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl While I was making these modifications my boss was adding products. It was sometime in these 10 minutes that products he was creating stopped showing up in the Back Office after being saved. They show up in the Front Office, but are now-where to be found in the back office. I check in the phpMyAdmin and the products are in the database. They show in the front office but not in the back office. I was able to use Site Backups and Restore to roll back those three files but the problem still persists. I have restored them multiple times trying to get it work again but still no luck. To my knowledge making those modifications was the only change that I made. Before that we had been adding products and everything was working great. Please help, I'm at the end of my rope here and we have hundreds of products to go up this week.   12. Thank you so much! I was having this problem trying to install 1.5.3. Works perfectly now, only wish I had found this before I spent 6hrs trying everything under the sun! As a note for others, in your php.ini file the "/home/users/web/b1447/ipg.yourdomain" part of the solution trd170 posted will be different for every user. Not just the yourdomain, with iPage you can find the entire address just above php.ini editor. Just append "/cgi-bin/tmp" to the end.
  13. Hello Prestashop users! I need to display a special message in place of the shipping costs for products in certain categories. This special message would display on the product page, in the mouse over cart, and on the cart/checkout page. I've looked through the back office and couldn't find any such options, only free shipping for certain categories. I'm using PrestaShop and I'm using the UPS (Rates + Label Printing) from Presto-changeo.com http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/shipping-modules/50-ups.html A temporary link to my store.candlsaddles.com, it's still under development.   14. Thank you, I found specific instructions for my hosting provider. I will be looking into a local install for other reasons, because I have found a solution to the problem. The memory and time limitations are not the issue. The problem is that the combinations generator supports a about 1000 - 3000 combinations per product. I have approximately 9 attribute categories with average of 6 options in each. That calculates out to more than 500,000 combinations per product, there is no way the attributes generator can do that. The solution is to purchase the Attribute Wizard Pro developed by Tomerg3.
