  1. Noted comments on whirlpool forum from a current user in Australia about Prestashop?? Are these facts around support, integration and upgrade issues? http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1335811
  2. Ok, that is cool. Is this module working with the latest version of Prestashop also?
  3. David, Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me how long you been using it and did you any coding background to use it? Can I use and put a website together as I don't have any coding skills? I am interested and the more I hear about this product I am thinking of not bothering with Zencart, Magento or even Interspire or X-cart which are licsned products. The only think that worries me is that they based in Europe and wondering if support is acceptable and working for you?
  4. Hi Richard, Thanks for the post, that is great to know. I am all confused at the moment..started thinking about using Zencart, then Magento and then Oscommerce and now Prestashop. I am not a developer but a end user, so need something to use that is quick & easy with short learning curve. Ok, so Zencart sound is a bit clunky and templates are pretty ordinary - i have ruled that out, and I am convinced Magento is not on as it srtugggles on shared host. I've heard there a product called Interspire but is licensed and is costly but comes with all bells and whistle including modules for aust post, etc. Would you know anything about Interspire? I am looking from a cost point of view also, that is, if I got an OS cart free and then added all cost for modules, time to configure and any other costs Vs buying a off the shelf licensed product like Interspire or X-Cart, etc -- which one am I going to be better with in the longer term? I shall let you know as I get further into it.
  5. I am just new to this forum and reading through currently all the post relevant for australian related content. I am wondering if australia post and gateway(like eWay) modules is now freely available or do I have to buy them? I am looking for OS cart and I am told Prestashop is good, easy to use and light on hosting server as compared to some of the other OS cart. One of the benefit is that most of the other OS carts seem to have australian modules freely available and in considering Prestashop I need to understand what the issues and challenges are still outstanding for use in the australian environment. I am looking at a small online business use but cannot afford to be down for too long and looking for a good reliable cart.

  7. Mobius2000 or anyone, just wondering how the mdule is going for you? Also, do you a australia post module working with Prestashop. I am interested in using Prestashop but seem to hear that I have to buy all these modules to make it work? Are there any free modules for eway & aust post else this OS cart is not as free as I think it is if I have to buy all these add on unlike Zencart or Oscommerce.
