  1. any ideas on how to extend the horizontal length of the blog entries across the whole page? Right now it is acting as if it's in a left hand column; and there's only 1 column in the whole page which is 980px wide
  2. here's the blog page link http://carduccidualsport.com/blog/all-post.html the longer (older) posts are from a different blog module
  3. I have this module installed and working on a CMS page thanks to the developer. I'd like to know how to extend the listings of the blog entries past the size that they are currently. The listings for the blog entries were obviously sized to fit in a sidebar. I'd like them to take up the width of the home section on my CMS page. Has anyone done this or something similar?
  4. Hi, Graphileom, I should have clarified: I did not modify the php file. For video on one site page (the 'Videos' page): I edited the HTML code on the CMS page directly using the built in CMS HTML edit capability. I did that because the built in formatting/editing/inserting video function didn't work for me. I'll probably try it again using the iframe video format choice; I was in a hurry and knew I could force the video onto the page without trying all the insert-video-format choices. For video on the site's blog page, I'm using the built in text/format/etc editing that comes in Prestashop. It did work on that page, perhaps because I lucked out and chose the iframe format first. You are welcome to look at the code on my blog page using Firefox debugger (or equivalent) to see if that helps w/ your php implementation. Or, you can take a look directly at the free blog module code via this thread: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/139638-module-free-blog-module-a-usefull-prestashop-module/page__view__findpost__p__1287848 As far as translating something that works via HTML into something that works via php, sorry - maybe someone else can help with that method. 5. had the error "video type or invalid file path" when trying to embed the video in a module created page when I added the video to a CMS page (using the Prestashop 'add video' feature), it worked had to chose the iframe option when adding the video so, I went in and looked at the html, and this is what it looks like for a successful video <p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/F4LU2qbhrOE" frameborder="0" width="425" height="350"></iframe></p> when I copied and pasted that into my blog module post, it worked
  6. megamurmulis, thanks for all the tips. I'm implementing your changes and am stuck on the blog page styling. where do I make the changes you mentioned below?? <body id="blog-all-posts"> body#blog-all-posts h2 { color:red; } do we add them to style.css for this module? and would the rest of the changes be something like this? <body id="blog-list-post"> body#blog-list-post h2 { color:blue; } <body id="blog-details"> body#blog-details h2 { color; green; } <body id="blog-tags"> body#blog-tags h2 { color; gray; } thank you!
  7. to change Nieuws to News on the breadcrumb when viewing yoururl.com/blog/all-post.html edit ViewAllPostController.php at approximately line 173 where you'll see Nieuws
  8. Hi, Thanks for all the work and for sharing the solutions. In looking over the exact changes that are needed I have a question. Why do the lines to be replaced/changed have a validate for isString instead of isCleanHtml? Thanks again
  9. For those of you with the theme template "Style" here's a fix that might help you out. I had a vertical slide display ( instead of a slideshow) using the theme template "Style". Their demo has the same issue when viewed in IE, something I only noticed after I saw the problem on the website I'm working on. The default theme didn't have the same issue, so I knew the problem was in the Style theme template files. Since the theme template developer was unresponsive, I spent a very long time trying everything anyone had mentioned in all the forum topics and from many other places on the web. Thanks to Andy's blog for the fix!!! The fix is discussed here: http://atulley.wordp...g-errors-in-ie/ Below is what finally worked for me in the file treeManagement.js (for me this file is located in the directory public_html\themes\style\js\tools\treeManagement.js at line 46.) replace this line console.log($.browser.msie + '=' + $.browser.version); with the following line if ($.browser.msie) {console = { log: function(msg) {alert('Debug: '+msg);} [spam-filter]; Exit from Internet Explorer and restart IE before trying your homepage again. A simple refresh didn't show the fix for me; but it was fixed when I exited IE and then tried the site in IE again.
