Hello there, This might be just a silly question, however: when I was adding all the EU countries to apply VAT to, the list listing all the countries only displays the first 9 countries I added. There is no "display all" or "display 20 per page" or "next page >>" option or something like that. All help would be very much appreciated. Thank you ~Vanessa

Solved. I accidentally copied the unzipped prestashop folder to public_html instead of its contents only. >.<

Hello there I installed 1.5.3 just now. Back office is working wonderfully, I can use all the features now that bugged in the last version I used (1.4.8.2). However, my shop gives a completely blank screen! Argh. Could you please have a look? The only output I get is at http://woolness.nl/prestashop/ , although I set the shop's domain to woolness.nl. I even switched on error logging in define.inc.php, but I don't get any errors shown :S Please help! Thanks so much! ~ Vanessa

Hello dear fellow Prestashoppers I am using PS 1.4.8.2 and I tried to upgrade to 1.5.3. It was a disaster! Nothing would work anymore, URL's were redirected endlessly, leading to errors.. So I restored my backup that was not working properly in the first place. But now things have got worse. The shop won't force compile anymore, so I can only use the cached version.. things are hanging on by their finger nails (as am I). I cannot set up my store in different languages, because that feature bugs... etc. I am looking for some help to upgrade my shop and get it working properly again or even reinstall the whole thing from scratch and get it working. For a girl, I am quite a techie, but this goes beyond my means. Minor issues I have been able to fix reading the forums, but I am going to admit I need some help now... XD I have a tight budget, but I am willing to spend a couple of bucks on this. Who would like to have a 'diagnostic look' and help me? Thanks so much!! ~ Vanessa

Yep, first thing I did .. Then I restored my backup.. and now nothing is working anymore: check out woolness.nl :/ Restored again... Now it's working again. Phew! But what to do about PS 1.5.3?

Hello There I updated to prestashop 1.5.3.1 a few minutes ago... - My footers are a mess (as expected, I had to fix that in the last version as well) - And I get redirecting errors for all of my product categories: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. Of course I have made a backup... But what can I do to fix this? Please help!

Hello All Please help me with this. Using Prestashop 1.4.8.2. I installed Dutch and English languages to be used in the shop. To translate the text in the home text editor I just click the US flag icon next to it and type the text. However, if I want to translate the product descriptions, there is no flag icon to be seen next to the description fields, nor next to the product name field. I also cannot translate my category names - no flag icon to be seen either. I am reluctant to update to the next version, because I edited the footers manually and am afraid those will be overridden again. Please Help!

Hello I have read several topics about malfunctioning php () mail, but I cannot get it solved. When I make a test order, the 'customer' gets the confirmation mail. The shop owner does not get a confirmation mail. I created a mailtest.php, inserted <?php mail('[email protected]','Test mail','The mail function is working!'); echo 'Mail sent!'; ?> And when pulled up it said: Mail sent. The mail is received. I tried to configure smtp for gmail, tried so send a test email, failed. I tried using another mailadress hosted by my provider with smtp, failed. Other mail sent to my shopowner's address I receive correctly. What to do? Thanks!

No, I mean I will manually create the same product in another category...

I guess I will just manually create duplicate products (I'm not really that much of a whizzkid in these things).
