  1. I have a client that's running PS 1.1.0.5 and wants to upgrade to 1.4 when it's released. Anyone have any experience with a major version upgrade? Lest just consider bare bones upgrade of the store. They have about 20 products. So let's ignore theming and any custom modules they may have. How many hours would you estimate?
  2. The prestaworks mod would be nice, but its not free. Supper user worked perfect! Thank you!
  3. Is it possible in PS 1.1.0.5 to create an order from the back office on behalf of a registered customer?
  4. Pm me your keygen script and I'll try debugging it for you
  5. This was tested on PS 1.1.0.5 and I just confirmed on my PS dev install thats from SVN that it still works. The errors Warning: include_once(/home/my_server/ftp/my_serversamples/classes/keygen_script.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/my_server/ftp/my_serversamples/classes/Module.php(325) : eval()‘d code on line 80 Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/my_server/ftp/my_serversamples/classes/keygen_script.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/my_server/ftp/my_serversamples/classes/Module.php(325) : eval()‘d code on line 80 do show up on the payment screen, but the module still functions as expected. I did need to comment out line 459 and remove the and on 458. I think there was a field change between versions. BUT IT WORKS!
  6. my do you have ":mykeygenerator.php", what is the : for? try putting it in the module folder and ommit the : If that doesn't work, try using the name I use keygen_script.php. Your array structure doesn't look right. I'd have to load PS locally and debug to double check the format. I don't have time for that right now, but maybe next week. Till then your best bet is to download komodo idea and debug locally if you can. Or use echo statements to see the variables. I'm fiddling with this and note that the path to keygen script must be like this "/keygen_script.php". Notice that "/" at the beginning. from the php manual http://php.net/manual/en/language.types.array.php I think the returned format should be like this array( 'key01' => 'abc', 'key02' => 'xyz') That should be the correct format. If it helps, in my case I have a cgi script returning key01=abc, I then use php's parse_str to explode that into the array seen above.
  7. What does line 6 of you mykeygenerator.php look like? Also, as far as i remember you mykeygenerator.php file should be in the same forder as the module.
  8. mrandre & adamus007p - Could you provide a bit more info on your setup? What error are you getting? Have you debugged the php code to see where the failure is? Remember that the included scripts expect the key to be returned in a particular manner. What values are you passing to the script? I havn't touched this script since 9/09 so I'm a bit rusty, but remember that this was tested on an order version of PS. I'll be reevaluating the module next time we update our store. Likely when PS 1.4 is released.
  9. I'm looking through my themes (moon theme) tpl files and noticed in the contact-form.tpl the following: {if isset($smarty.post.id_contact) && $smarty.post.id_contact == $contact.id_contact}selected="selected"{/if} My understanding from this is theres a way to pass a pre-selected value to the contact-form.php and have it slected for the user. I have added a button on my product.tpl to allow a customer to submit an offer: http://pastie.org/871158 under BO > Employees > Contacts I have a contact_id 3 value="Submit Offer" So my question is how do I pass contact-form.php the proper pre-selected value? UPDATE: I've added $smarty->debugging = true; to contact-form.php and the smarty debugging console pops up http://pastie.org/872270 but there is no "post" variable anywhere to be found. Any ideas? Solution: In the products.tpl you must use the post meathod. Doing so you don't have to change anything in the contact-form.tpl heres my "make offer button" <!-- Make offer form --> <form id="make_offer" action="{$base_dir}contact-form.php" method="post"> quantity == 0} style="display:none;"{/if} id="make_offer" class="buttons_bottom_block"><input type="submit" name="make_offer" value="{l s='Make Offer'}" class="exclusive" /></p> <input type="hidden" name="id_contact" value="3" /> </form> After more digging, I found that you still need to edit the contact-form.tpl and change the line that hides the description. Heres what it is in my code: {$contact.description|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}
  10. Thanks aknot, that worked for me!
  11. There's a bug post for this http://www.prestashop.com/bug_tracker/view/3527/ Comment's say its fixed in SVN. I'm gonna try it out monday and report back. UPDATE: I have tried the SVN version and the 13b1 and both return the result below: [15-Mar-2010 10:13:59] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tools::gethttphost() in /home/shaiss/public_html/HITEK51.COM/modules/paypalapi/payment/submit.php on line 66
  12. For those wanting to make the image slider "auto" slide add the below to the /modules/editorial/slider/slider.js at the very end: Note that 8000 is 8 seconds. So change it to your liking. It will randomly move forward or back every 8 seconds. This isn't ideal as the auto slide should just go forward till the last slide then jump back to slide 1. I'll try implementing this later when I have time. intervalID = setInterval(makeScroll, 8000); function makeScroll() { var rand_no = Math.floor(11*Math.random()); if (rand_no < 5) { $('#slides > .next > a').click(); } else { $('#slides > .back > a').click(); } }
  13. When no user is logged in the message at the top says "Welcome, Log In". I'd like to change this to "Welcome Guest, Login/Register". Is this in a Lang file or in the B/O somewhere? Thank you Solved: Under the B/O -> Tools -> Translations -> Modify translations choose Modules Translation click your language flag Look for "prestashop - blockuserinfo" Under that change the default "Welcome" and "Login" If you want to remove the "," or "()" marks that can be done by editing the modules/blockuserinfo/blockuserinfo.tpl "," is on line 5 "()" marks on lines 7 and 9 Be sure to only remove or comment out the above marks. The rest below are needed for php opps
  14. Great theme all around. I have a problem with the category dropdown on my homepage http://hitek51.com/. Looks like the image slider is on a higher layer than the dropdown menu. I'm on ubuntu 9.10 with Chrome 5 Dev and FF 3.6 Any ideas? UPDATE: Fixed it. Found this CSS file on the themes main page http://dgcraft.free.fr/blog/index.php/prestashop-themes/moon-theme-prestashop/#comment-273 http://neobubu.free.fr/superfish-modified.css That worked out for me
  15. Still setting up the shop, but if you goto the homepage you'll see its mostly there: http://hitek51.com/ goto the computers category and choose any product and it works. But goto any other category, the products are listed, click on anyone. Instead of seeing the products page you get the "page not available" "We're sorry, but the Web address you entered is no longer available" message. My thinking is that this has something to do with the links. But why would one category work and others not? Any ideas? Please let me know if it would help to post any B/O screenshots. I noticed this in the apache error log: [Mon Mar 08 18:54:00 2010] [error] [client 66.104.92.200] File does not exist: /home/shaiss/public_html/HITEK51.COM/Electro_Mechanical, referer: http://hitek51.com/26-Fans Update--Fixed it by changing the friendly URL to all lowercase
