  2. thanks both for the fast responce what text should i be looking for in the .php and the .txt files in that folder? i did try and extract from a old 1.6 i downloaded then re uploaded to those folders, but still nothing
  3. I need help finding a file that has been changed. The customer remember password. The retrieval is working up till the final one where the password is reset and the final email is sent. The actual password part of the final email is masked. I need to locate the .php or .txt file that controls this.to see if it has been changed. Its presta 1.6. Thanks
  4. im not too good with things and couldnt recover the site or upgrade it using the installer either said cant connect to database or database allready in use, so did a fresh install,1.4.5.1 its a lot more involved than the older site we had, finding it hard to gt out old theme to work (ive listed this in another forum page)http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/137136-help-needed-with-new-site/page__fromsearch__1, i could do with some help, the pages look fine but we have an anoying page link that comes in half way through the header section, i just uploaded the old template to the template folder anyway i just wanted to say thanks for all the help mike www.barwellbodyworks-shop.com
  5. hi all had a real nightmare this weekend !!! my old presta shop went down i had the old black theme, anyway to cut a long story short, i upgraded but still couldnt manage to keep all my old files, so i installed this wicked looking new template it looks sweet but the only trouble is i get this anoying link block with a little red x and where ever you click on the main home page or the sub cattagries it prints the blinking name of the thing all the way through the header im going mad trying to find my way arround this new updated shop, and have got to the point where i need help please many thanks www.barwellbodyworks-shop.com
  6. im realy new to all this stuff as you can tell i didnt even know i had posted to the forum pages again !!! sorry for that MIKE, i know its probably a realy silly question but how do i upgrade it? and how do i do that with out loosing all the work i have done?, the shop is on the root folder, but i do know what the sql file is called and the password it was set up using a auto installer but now not listed on the server we use
