  1. What a crappy inclusion. I don't care that you can't have special characters in the title, but at least save everything but the special character. Who added this crappy feature where it won't save your work.
  2. Alright, I got it to work, don't ask me how. But no orders are being imported. The only file I have edited is ShippingZSettings.php Does anybody know under what order status do orders get imported into stamps.com? Answer: On preparation in progress and payment accepted Awesome, it is importing orders! There must have been some sort of lag with the script.
  3. I installed it 1.5.6.0 Supposedly everything was working fine and it was connecting. (Hasn't retrieved any orders and now is spitting out an error that it can't connect.) I will be trying to get this to work today.
  4. It really sucks that there are more threads on prestashop with no answers than with answers. i will answer this question for future users, as I had the same problem. I am really surprised how few people either use this module with SSL, or care about having a site with an unbroken sSL page. The solution is to hard code the link in. Since the editorial module will never change the name of the homepage image, it will work fine. {if $homepage_logo}<img src="/modules/editorial/homepage_logo_1.jpg" alt="{$editorial->body_title|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'|stripslashes}" {if $image_width}width="{$image_width}"{/if} {if $image_height}height="{$image_height}" {/if}/>{/if}
  5. How can you get the logo to display in ssl? Right now, it will not. Nevermind, I just hardcoded it.
  6. For the latest version of the paypal USA module you can insert the following into the paypal form: <input type="hidden" name="image_url" value="http://prestashopurl.com/img/logo.jpg"> Within the file: For standard checkout edit this file: modules/paypalusa/views/templates/hooks/standard.tpl For advanced checkout edit this file: modules/paypalusa/views/templates/hooks/payment-advanced.tpl For express checkout checkout edit this file: modules/paypalusa/views/templates/hooks/express-checkout.tpl You cannot easily/readily add a store logo to the euro version of prestashop
  7. Nevermind. I got rid of the european version in favor of the USA version. The european version was completely filled with bloated and unused code. The USA version's code looks nice in contrast. Although it does have a few bugs. You cannot send the shipping price to paypal as the shipping cost. Also funnily, the developer knew this and didn't know how to fix it, so he did a work around to just send the shipping cost to paypal as an item. I figure if he did not know how to solve it, I won't. Maybe I will wait until a better version of the paypal plugin is released.
  8. Can somebody please help. This is a partner module, isn't it supposed to be supported?
  9. Please help! So apparently, according to the headers, the folder expresscheckout is sending all the info to paypal, even though I am not using express checkout. This module is full of bloat, much of this stuff is not getting used. I am also horrible at PDO, so far, this is not looking good for me.
  10. I am using the latest version of prestashop and the paypal module (europe). The module is set to use paypal website payment standard without express checkout. Prestashop is currently sending extremely long item_names & long item descriptions to paypal. I would like to restrict the item_name to the actual product name and have the item description be the product attributes. What file is sending this info? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have so far eliminated these folders: paypal/css (naturally) paypal/img (naturally) paypal/mails (naturally) paypal/upgrade (naturally) paypal/api paypal/backward_compatibility paypal/controllers
  11. Yeah, Prestashop's new paypal modules aren't very good, both geo versions have problems
  12. How can I list all the links to products in the home category on the category block, instead of categories. I want to do away with this: <ul class="tree {if $isDhtml}dhtml{/if}"> {foreach from=$blockCategTree.children item=child name=blockCategTree} {if $smarty.foreach.blockCategTree.last} {include file="$branche_tpl_path" node=$child last='true'} {else} {include file="$branche_tpl_path" node=$child} {/if} {/foreach} </ul> And just loop through all the products in the home category instead of the categories. Thanks for your help. I am sorry, but I am not very familiar with prestashop file names.
  13. Thanks again Maconl! Your help has been very much appreciated.
  14. I have just updated my shop to Prestashop 1.5.2 and everything is finally working great after a lot of theme and module modifications. However I have found nowhere in the entire paypal module to modify the variables sent to paypal. Because of this I cannot pass my logo to display on the payment page, or pass custom information to the payment page like I had done previously. It would be really great if you guys had left and continued to use the redirect.tpl file. <Update> You cannot use older versions of the Paypal module <3.0 or it produces massive errors in the back office in the modules tab Now I am stuck with a sub-par quality module and my shop suffers. </Update>
