  1. Thank you for your suggestion. However I don't want to display the price including tax. For US customers they only pay tax if they live in the same state as the seller. So in our case if the buyer lived in Georgia they would pay tax, and residents of other states do not. Most ecommerce sites just display the selling price of the item and tax is added in the shopping cart if the buyer enters an address that is in the same state as the seller.
  2. My store is in a development environment at this time. Same display results with IE7, IE8, Firefox. I expect there is a line of code somewhere that strips the html out. Ideas?
  3. I have imported my categories via a csv file successfully, but I'm having issues when attempting to upload sub categories via another csv file if I attempt to use the same naming convention for multiple categories. I have my main category import file as follows: ID Active Name Parent Category 2 1 VW Golf 1 3 1 VW Jetta 1 4 1 VW Polo 1 Which results in a menu similar to this: VW Golf VW Jetta VW Polo Now within each category I want to import the following sub-categories If I import a csv file with just one group of sub categories: ID Active Name Parent Category 100 1 01.Exterior 2 101 1 02.Interior 2 102 1 03.Wheels 2 My menu displays correctly with categories & a sub category [-]VW Golf Exterior Interior Wheels VW Jetta VW Polo But if I use a csv file with multiple sub categories for all categories: ID Active Name Parent Category 100 1 01.Exterior 2 101 1 02.Interior 2 102 1 03.Wheels 2 103 1 01.Exterior 3 104 1 02.Interior 3 105 1 03.Wheels 3 106 1 01.Exterior 4 107 1 02.Interior 4 108 1 03.Wheels 4 This is what I get: VW Golf VW Jetta VW Polo No sub categories are displayed! Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
  4. It looks like any html code I include in my category descriptions is being removed when displayed. Can some direct me to the appropriate file I can edit where I can prevent html codes form being removed/suppressed.
  5. Did you try using html code in your description? For example: This is the first line This is the second line. Followed by a third line of text = line break I'm not sure this will work, but it's worth a try. For more information on html code visit w3schools
  6. Patric, I apologize for wasting your time. I had made the copy from prestashop that resided in my IIS7 folder and not my Wamp folder. Everything works now. Cheers, Steve
  7. Patric, Don't you ever sleep! Nothing changed when I renamed the orginal prestashop folder to prestashoptest, it just displayed as prestashop in the Apperances tab. I did rename prestashoptest back to prestashop but again nothing changed. Or did you mean the entire installation? Steve
  8. I spent time on the phone with ixwebhosting support on Friday and they recongnize there is a security issue. I sent them a trace from my install which highlighted some issures. Hopefully I'll have a resolution Monday, and as soon as I have a successful install I'll post the results here. Cheers, Steve
  9. Patric, Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not work. I also tried renaming the original prestashop theme to something else, but the change was not reflected on the Apperances tab. BTW I'm using Version 1.2.2.0 - 0.037s on my local machine (windows7) with Wamp Server. Cheers, Steve
  10. I just made a copy of the default prestashop theme so I could begin work on my own design. I copied the prestashop folder from the themes folder and pasted it back in the same folder with a new name of mytheme. I then logged into the back office and navigated to Preferences > Appearance but only the original prestasop them was displayed. I checked that preview.jpg was present in the mytheme folder. Any ideas? Did I Miss a step? Cheers, Steve
  11. We carry shirts, gloves, & shoes for men, women, & children and ship internationally and have four sizing charts. I want to display the appropriate sizing chart (see image) on a data sheet tab on the product page for each product type. Incidently I want to build the table with html and not simply include as an image. I very new to prestashop, so I'd be grateful if someone could explain how I can do this. Cheers, Steve
  12. I created an csv file with a single product and specified a 10% Reduction off the Retail price. Imported the file and when I displayed the product page the Reduction Price was the same as the Retail price. I repeated this a couple of times just in case I had made a mistake, but I got the same result. Looking at the product info page, the Final Retail Price was correct. So I edited the product info page manually, deleting the reduction percent, then adding it back. Saved the data and then re-displayed the page and the correct discounted price was displayed. Cheers, Steve
