  1. Can you filter/block products from being listed? - We have products we are not able to sell on marketplaces and some we can.
  2. Hi everyone and @jetx I was wondering if you guys can help me. I used to use RevolutionSlider before that got messy so I just Switched to LayerSlider. I have created my layers and its good to go but for the life of me I cannot get it to appear on the homepage as a banner. I have chosen Banner as the hook and the homepage shows nothing. I selected Top Block and this shows the slider for every page on the website - which is obviously not what I want. Can anyone help? Manish
  3. Thanks for this, I cant believe that this has not been fixed yet... how can prestashop have this removed for 1.6.. such a flaw
  4. Hi, Where would that be? Here is the file... 5. Hi thanks for your reply. I am using 1.6x and not using the default theme. Does the above change your advice? I used to have 1.4.3 before with a custom theme and the subcat thumbnails were on as default
  6. Thanks for your reply. I dont really want the products to show in all those high level categories I want a list of the sub categories to appear which are clickable for the customer to take them through the category levels
  7. Hi, Thank you for your reply, Unfortunately that is a rule to set the minimum customer spend to qualify for the discount, if you click on the 'Actions' Tab you will see how the discount code is applied and that is where it shows 'Order (Excluding Shipping)
  8. Hi all, In Prestashop 1.4x I was able to create a discount code for a value such as £3 and this would be taken off the WHOLE order INCLUDING shipping. In the back end of Prestashop 1.6x the closest option for this is to take the discount code off the order (excluding shipping) - I have tried out discount codes created in different formats and none include the shipping code into an overall order cost) Does anyone know how I can have a discount applied to the whole order (cost of product & shipping cost) Thanks
  9. Hi all, Please have a look at the attached images. When clicking on a high level Category/sub cat the main page is blank. When you click on the lowest level category then this displays all the products that are within it. How can I configure the category pages to show links of Sub Categories in the main screen so its not just a big white blank page? I have gone into theme configurator and switched on and off the 'display sub cats' that didnt work Can anyone help with this? I was using 1.4.6 before and it worked fine on that Prestashop - upgraded to 1.6x two months ago and cant figure out how to have the list of sub categories appear on that white space
  10. Thank El Patron, I Am definitely finding it much better than the old Prestashop Versions, just takes time getting used to the back office again. UPGRADE UPDATE: So I commisioned work to Michael Bellini - Bellini13 here on the forums and was Highly satisfied with his work. I Had the software upgrade carried out, test site created within a day, took my time to reconfig and test out the new site for a few days on the test site and then we worked over the weekend to transition the upgrade and new responsive website and make it live. Overall I had a downtime of about 1.5 days however this was my own doing as I wanted to take my time testing out the new site thoroughly before setting it live. (that 1.5 days i planned during out lowest converting times - Friday) Working with Michael was a very good experience for me personally as he was exactly what I was looking for, he understood my level of knowledge (which is reaching intermediate levels i would say) and was highly educating by explaining every step he took, why he took it and for what reason/path. When I told him the scope of work he provided a roadmap to which I already had in my mind, made sure I was completely happy with the scope of work with everything outlined. It does help to provided stepped guides of all work that needs to be done for him, and other developers to get a full scope of whats needed so they themselves can plan the best route to take. He worked to my timetable, is very responsive to emails (even messaging at times when I expect him to be asleep - i know i was lol) and highly efficient. I would recommend him highly. **Please Note: This review is not to say that others here on the forum like El Patron etc are not good at what they do - this is my own personal experience and a little insight into how the upgrade took place and went.** The upgrade was completed a few weeks ago, new website is up and running and sales are back and growing. I even had some questions about one or two settings a week later and he was happy to help me with those. Hope this review helps. Prestashop 1.6x is definitely worth the upgrade if carried out correctly by the right person, its a great upgrade from 1.4.6 that I was using and cant wait to maximise on the features
  11. Thanks all, We have decided to work with one of the senior Prestashop Forum Members. We will see how it goes and I can then provide a feedback on my experience through the upgrade process if anyone is interested.
  12. Hi, We operate a live site which is on PS version 1.4.3. We want to upgrade to the most stable version of 1.6 Being a live site it makes it extremely important that the upgrade is as seemless as possible, our peak season is about to hit in 2 months time as well so we need to make sure that there are no hiccups. We require someone with the proven experience to: 1. Upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.6x 2. Keep all database information such as Customers, Orders, Products and have them within the 1.6x 3. We have custom modules such as XXL Menu - if this cannot be migrated with the upgrade we are happy to we do this ourselves. 4. We have a 1.4 compatible theme, we are happy to provide a 1.6 compatible theme to be installed with the 1.6 We are quite competent with HTML and CSS when developing the look and feel of the website, but the upgrade/migration is not something we are experienced in carrying out ourselves. If anyone can help, recommend anyone/company that can do this we would appreciate it. Please bare in mind, we are a live operating website with sales on a daily basis so only experienced people please. Thanks,
