  1. What I usually do is to upgrade as soon as a new upgrade is out, both Presta and PHP, and I rarely have problems...
  2. I have just upgraded from V to V and it was really a piece of cake. It took me no more than 30 minutes from the moment I decided to perform the upgrade the store and the moment it was up again.
  3. This is a good point of view. Thanks for your opinion. I only manage small projects and crew, so I myself prefer raw languages to frameworks, despite I know one should use framework... Anyways, this message of mine may seem weird, but probably I am start to change my mind about not using frameworks so far.
  4. Hello. Sorry for replying without a right answer, but I was struggling with a similar issue weeks ago, and it was just a matter of configuration. A friend of mine, in nothing related to Prestashot or anything, noticed rules were somehow incorrect. Maybe there's something missing - or too much - for your cart rule. I do hope you solve the question.
  5. As far I know, many of us have faced this issue now and then. Speed is very unstable, and sometimes it comes back to normal patterns out of nothing. Users and developers here suggest some configurations, but these changes won't help for long.
  6. Yes. Explanation was clear. But if I can ask one more question... You mentioned file permitions, 777 is terrible, but are there any other that bad to be clearly avoided?
  7. Can you elaborate more on that, please?
  8. Are there any easy first steps to understand hooks? I don't mean running thru the whole manual, etc... But something one can do instantly only to see how it works. Something like a "Hello, World" for hooks.
  9. It seems you can't know for sure whether they are really OK. I tried to update twice or three times using 1-click update to get it working, and I only notices some things went wrong hours latter. It's alright to be superstitious here. Well, I managed to have all working by now. I wish you good luck.
  10. Do you mind getting in touch with the developer of the theme?
  11. As far as I understood, I guess I did something similar to this using pure SQL. It runs over a certain order, checks all the values of all products this order contains, and retrieves the total amount of each feature value. It returns something like this: +--------+----------+---------------+---------------+ | order | customer | featureATotal | featureBTotal | +--------+----------+---------------+---------------+ | 678952 | 5896 | 85 | 585 | | 678555 | 5158 | 212 | 412 | +--------+----------+---------------+---------------+ Let me know whether you want to see the code.
  12. I didn't migrate, but I have Presta installed on MariaDB and it works pretty fine!
  13. @endriu107 I have fixed the problem thanks to your tip. It was a problem with the translation modules. It's solved already.
  14. Where and how can I do this? I ask because I don't have access to the admin area.
  15. Hello, Out of nothing all of my PrestShop copies started returning error 500 when I try to access the admin module. The /store module is working fine. Clients can log, but admins can't. Is it happening to anybody else? The copies are on the same server, but in different folders. Best wishes.
  16. Olá. Desde que é possível usar diversas formas de pagamento, em qual tabela e campo fica a informação final de que determinada fatura (ou pedido ou carrinho) foi finalmente paga? Att.
