  1. Thanks! I think I made it work. It seems a bit unstable - I made a root-cat but couldn't choose it as main-cat for a new shop. Then I deleted the category and created it again, and then it worked
  2. Hi, I'm trying to set up a shop with 2 fronts, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to work. I think the system is very confusing and a lot of what happens doesn't make any sense to me. I.e. when I select a "root category" when creating a new shop, "associated categories" is still empty (only with some of the root categories) and I can't figure out why. What I'm trying to accomplish, is a store with 2 fronts, each with separate categories i.e.: shop_1: cat_a, cat_b, cat_c shop_2: cat_d, cat_e, cat_f Products from categories in one shop should not be visible on the other shop and vice versa. I have trouble finding out if I need a group for each store and how to setup the categories (root cat or not). Can anyone help me in the right direction, please?
  3. I got it to work - I needed some settings ind my nginx-config. Weird system, that some of it works without these settings
  4. I'm not quite sure what you think I should give a try? The server is running Ubuntu 14.04
  5. Well, I wouldn't be asking if I could just use PHP 7. I'll try the ticket. Thanks!
  6. Yeah, I know that, but I don't understand why it is so when the official requirements says minimum PHP 5.4 (https://www.prestashop.com/en/system-requirements).
  7. Hi, I've just installed Prestashop on my nginx/php5-fpm server. Installation worked fine, but now I'm getting this error: "Your system does not have a secure random number generator.". I've done some searching and I tried to update to the newest version of random_compat (http://disq.us/p/1dhwzje), but the problem remains. My php version is 5.5.9 and meets all the requirements.
