  1. In you Back-end got to: Back Office >> Shipping. There you need to set the Carrier in the Fees part of that page.
  2. You need te set up a carrier (or more) per zone and create shippingrates using the Weight-ranges or Price-ranges in the shipping part of you shop. It is a lot of work but that is how it can only be done atm.
  3. You have to create Carriers in you shop that handle these overseas shipping. To have this work correctly you have to define the country's in to more zone's so you can have a carrier for each zone and thus the correct fees. I hope it is clear to you :smirk:
  4. Ask you hoster , it looks like PHP is not supported on you server.
  5. We already know your site is slow thus saying that your search is slow would have made more sence in you other topic then to start a new one. Also working on a solution in 2 topics is something not-done, please keep all you questions about the slowness of you site in your other topic. Thanks!
  6. Have you used the search as this has been asked and answered before. The solution is also here, but be aware, it is in Dutch.....
  7. Yes, No, Yes, No, maybe you should use the search first......
  8. BUG? If you choose from the option Categorie part of this great module Home and lets say the Laptops you cannot choose Home again because it already went back to home. So the customer can only choose another part of your category but never Home. I find this not user friendly and I think it should stay on the one you have choosen. Any chance on fixing this? Same goes for Manufacturers, Suppliers etc. Thanks!
  9. I'm in no-way a programmer but a shop owner. In my first osC shop I had the PWA build in, never in the 2 years I had that shop it was used. Maybe here in The Netherlands we are not afraid to create an account, but on the other hand, I had 2 certifications already at that time proofing that my shop was/is trustfull.... In my current shop I did not to bother to add the PWA just because it was never used.
  10. Get into you DB and find PS_employee. Download via FTP yout setting.inc.php and find the Cookie_key. In the password field of the user in you DB remove the current password and insert the cookie_key and ADD the new password, it will look like this: ERT&$FKI*%#$C*(()12345 (where 12345 is you password en the rest is you cookie_key). Change you e-mail address to the one you require and save.
  11. What you are looking for is PWA (Purchase Without Account). This is not possible at the moment but will be in one of the next releases (I think). Personaly I can not understand why you would need such a PWA setup as the customer has to fill in all of his details anyway so the only thing is that there is no record in you database of this customer except his order.... In many cases there are several ways of paying + several ways of carier options so a one page checkout could give and ask to much to choose from for you customer. My own osCommerce shop has no PWA and the default checkout behaivure and never was I asked why it was this way nor ahs it stopped any of my customers to buy. If you prices are sharp and you collection is good they will buy from you.
  12. Looking at you module I think that $50 - $60 os not a lot of money IF you need such a setup. I like the soft look of the forum (on which forum is you module based?) and the way it fits in. My suggestion for a WYSIWYG editor would be the same as PS already has, I'm not sure if one can use the same source. The use of the forst name is not suitable as many people will have the same name. Maybe it is possible that if one wants to post on the forum for the first time it will ask for a nick-name. This so people do not have to think of one during sign-up as a customer because a lot of customers will never post. I do see an error when accessing a categorie of the forum with no posts yet "Error getting threads in this category.". Keep up the good work!
  13. If you can access the db there is no need to run the MySQL query. Just edit that table and get you cookie key from your setting.inc.php and then add the new password behind it. No need in changing the e-mail address. If that table is not found then you do need to run the MySQL query.
  14. If you would have used the search you would have known that this is been addressed to many time. Also this has been put in as a feature request as many of us knows that NOT having an order edittor is a show stopper for many of us (including me).
  15. A category name can be translated, a product name can be translated, why not a manufacturer's name ? Cronos Because a name is a name, If you would translate Apple (a well known brand) into another language and it would not look/read Apple who would recognize it. My name is in 't Veldt and translated to English it would be in the Field.... does not make any cense. Furthermore, the international rule is to never translate names. Hi TropischBruin, I can read the sound apple in many languages. Unless the language doesn't have sounds aa, pa and la. I understand, why it should not be translated, but, that's quite not an explanation phonetically. Cheers.. Cronos Do whatever you like, if you want to translate names, be my guest. Be aware tha manufacturers could complain AND sue you for doing so.
