  1. Can't you be more obvious about working for LitExtension? We used your services once, migrating from WooCommerce to Prestashop, thanks for that, but upgrading and updating should be free and easy, it's 2019. We can't even get a clean Prestashop 1.6.1.20 to upgrade to a minor version 1.6.1.24.

    We still run several WordPress instances, some use wildly outdated plug-ins, and temporary solutions, and none of them have ever bailed on us while upgrading.

    Hey, sorry, I didn't notice the post date when I commented. So, did you manage to upgrade your store?

    No, even with the latest upgrade module I have tried several solutions, including deleting the class file, but it always spits out errors, which includes upgrading to minor versions., even with a fresh installation of Prestashop. We have tried different server configurations that meet the requirements of Prestashop.

    I think it was a signal saying that it's not high time you upgraded to 1.7.5.1 😁. In case you want to and are able to migrate your store in the future, I suggest you go with an automated shopping cart migration service. Such company is filled with IT experts in website, upgrade and migration. I tried once and they work perfectly!

    Prestashop is great, but upgrading has never been a stable process for us, even with a new installation on a fresh VPS Plesk installation it spits out errors like wildfire, with features being stripped or even removed and some critical functions no longer working properly, there is no real reason for us to upgrade.

    I am sure that the developers of Prestashop do their best to make Prestashop a success.

  4. Hello,

    I have found this code to add a barcode from the order reference to our invoice template, but instead of the order reference we want to generate a URL for each product on the invoice.

    What do I have to replace $order->getUniqReference()  with to achieve this?

    Please note that we're not interested in buying modules, thank you.

    <tr>
    <td style="width: 17%"></td>
    <td style="width: 83%">

    {assign var=black value=[0,0,0]}{assign var=white value=[255,255,255]}
    {assign var=stuff value=['position'=>'S', 'border'=>false, 'padding'=>4, 'fgcolor'=>$black, 'bgcolor'=>$white, 'text'=>false, 'font'=>'helvetica', 'fontsize'=>8, 'stretchtext'=>4]}
    {assign var=params value=TCPDF::serializeTCPDFtagParameters(array($order->getUniqReference(), 'C39', '', '', 40, 15, 0.4, $stuff, 'N'))}
    <tcpdf method="write1DBarcode" params="{$params}" />

    </td>
    </tr>

  5. Hello,

    We are using Prestashop 1.6.1.23 and we would like to upgrade to Prestashop 1.7.5.1 using 1-Click Upgrade 4.6.0, we tried moving to a clean Prestashop 1.6.1.23 before upgrading, reinstalling our Plesk VPS server, but we always get to see the following error:

    [INTERNAL] /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/config/bootstrap.php line 27 - Error: Class 'Core_Business_ContainerBuilder' not found #0 /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/config/config.inc.php(66): require_once() #1 /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeContainer.php(475): require_once('/var/www/vhosts...') #2 /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/modules/autoupgrade/classes/TaskRunner/AbstractTask.php(120): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\UpgradeContainer->initPrestaShopCore() #3 /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/modules/autoupgrade/classes/TaskRunner/Upgrade/UpgradeDb.php(75): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\TaskRunner\AbstractTask->init() #4 /var/www/vhosts/hairwebshop.nl/mijn.hairwebshop.nl/admin/autoupgrade/ajax-upgradetab.php(51): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\TaskRunner\Upgrade\UpgradeDb->init() #5 {main}

    Can someone please help us figure this out? Thank you.

  6. Hello,

    After database migration from Prestashop 1.6.1.20 to a fresh Prestashop 1.6.1.20, everthing works fine except for Localization > Countries > Country

    The object cannot be loaded (or found)

    As a result, no address can be selected (even if it exists and is linked to the customer) if an existing customer wants to pay or if a new customer wants to create a new address.

    What going on and how do I fix this?

    Keep in mind that I know that modules can easily transfer data from one webshop to another, but that is not an option for now.

  7. Hello,

    There are bugs in Prestashop 1.7.4.2 that prevent us from upgrading, we are looking for the following modules as a temporary solution:

    1. Free shipping module

      This module must override or fix this bug in Prestashop 1.7.4.2 so that the free shipping labels in both cart, summary and checkout pages are displayed correctly and removes the rather confusing -0.00% discount label. It should simply say Free shipping when applicable to the customer. Furthermore, it must be compatible with shipping to all countries and the free gift module below.

    2. Free gift module

      This module must override or fix this bug in Prestashop 1.7.4.2 so that the free gift labels are shown, instead of the prices. the free gift must also be able to be removed from the shopping cart, summary and checkout pages. Furthermore, it would be nice if the customer could choose between two gifts.

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Hello,

    Our invoice logo has no color, we have tried to upload it in .jpg and .png format. (No, it is not the printer options or even the printer itself, the products on the invoice are displayed in color.)

    We use the latest Prestashop 1.6.1.20, how do we solve this? Thanks

  9. Hello El Patron,

    I installed and used Memcached and then cleared and deleted it, not only from Prestashop, but also from my own VPS, which uses Plesk. Then I have disabled and cleared the cache in Prestashop, as well as the full browser cache.

    We now use APC cache using the APCu module to monitor and manage the cache, and I excluded the admin folder.

    This is the only server-side caching that we know of.

  10. Hello,

    When I add a new product or a new manufacturer, it does not appear on the front-end of our Prestashop and if I click on the new order or customer notification in the top menu, it will reappear after page refresh.

    I have cleared the cache in both Prestashop and my web browser and have even tried to disable prestashop caching, I have also tried a number of other web browsers and computers where our Prestashop has never been accessed before.

    When I restart my VPS, all news products appear, but the product continues to exist with new products, orders and customers.

    What's going on and how do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

  11. @Witopy GmbH

    I have never had problems upgrading WordPress or WooCommerce, but they just do not meet our requirements. It should not be rocket science to upgrade software to a minor version, or even major version in our opinion.

    It's not my intention to sound demanding, we know that Prestashop is open source, but most of their addons are not, and are quite expensive in comparison with other e-commerce platforms. I therefore think that the developers owe us at least a stable e-commerce platform to use these paid addons with.

    @MARK-APP.com

    Yes, first I tried to download the latest beta version and realized that it was officially released on the Prestashop Addons Marketplace, so we have tried that too.

  12. Hello,

    We have moved to a more powerful VPS and we want to upgrade Prestashop to version 1.6.1.20 with the latest 1-click upgrade module 4.0, but it fails, it says it can not upgrade file in /admin/themes/default/img/button-bg.png and then tries to rollback the ugprade back. I have checked the file permissions on the server and even restarted our VPS later, but the error persists.

    All non-prestashop modules are disabled, the server has more than enough memory and execution time, all caches are cleaned and the database is cleaned using the clean database module. We use Prestashop for quite a few years now and not once has the upgrade process been successful, ever. Please help us upgrade Prestashop to the latest version 1.6.1.20.

  13. Hello,

    Sometimes there are suddenly no payment methods available so that customers can not pay. It seems that it happens more often when I switch on the caching option (not to be confused by smarty cache). We use a VPS with Memcached.

    The developers of these modules say that it is a problem of Prestashop, can someone help us to solve this problem?

    Thank you in advance!
