  1. HI, After i do a refund (partial and full refunds), the total amount paid used to decrease by the amount that was refunded. For example, total paid was $100 and 1 item refunded which was $20, total amount paid would decrease to $80. Now it does not. Can anyone guide me on any possible reasons or settings that i may need to change? Thanks so much in advance!
  2. Hi! I've installed this module and configured it to use in both tablets and mobile. however, when the module is enabled, my website is a white blank page on any mobile and tablet. It is fine on the computer. Once i disable the mobile, the website is accessible on mobile and tablets immediately. Any idea what is wrong or how i can fix it? Thanks!
  3. After playing around with it i realised that you cannot put anything after {shipping_number} Not even a '.' (full stop). that was what caused the number not to show up. After i remove the full stop, the number showed correctly.
  4. I have the same problem too. However, i added {shipping_number} to the existing email template and {shipping_number} shows upon the customer email. I'm using version 1.4.0 Any tips?
  5. updated to add: The errors above are from me trying to add/edit the combination manually. If i try using the attributes generator, i am able to create combinations. However, i have to click on 'Delete all combinations manually before i click on the attributes generator. If i try to delete the unwanted combinations in the attributes generator and then add the new ones, even thou it says successfully generated, after i click go back to product, the previous combinations are still there and the new ones are not. (this is based on me duplicating products with existing combinations that i need to change) Any ideas on how to fix? thanks in advance!

I'm also having this problem. i can't edit existing combinations on products as the edit button doesn't work ad i can't create new combinations as after choosing the group and attribute i want and adding them, i will get an error: The error is: 1 error: You must add at least one attribute ( please note that when i did choose a attribute). Did you ever manage to solve your problem?
  7. Hi, I've disable caching completely, but the problem still exists. I'm very sure that i am doing it correctly and it's been fine all along till it suddenly stopped working a few days ago. It doesn't work when i use the combination generator. For example, i will choose an existing combination already added previously and nothing happens, it's like i never clicked on the edit button. Or when i try to add a new combination for example, i choose Size for Group and Small for attribute and then click on add (the attributes and group choice that i made will not appear in the add/delete box) and the error message will appear (The error is: 1 error: You must add at least one attribute) Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks for the tip! : ) Now the remaining issue is: I am unable to add new combinations or make any changes to existing combinations for all products.   10. Hi, I am unable to add new combinations or make any changes to existing combinations for all products. The error is: 1 error: You must add at least one attribute ( please note that when i try to add a attribute, it doesn't show up) Order status are also not showing up on the particular order page but can be seen on the main order page(tab). I'm also unable to cancel or refund any products from orders as the check box is missing. I realised that all these errors started happening after i made changes to the performance preferences in prestashop. I've attached a image of my performance preference page: I am using PrestaShop™ 1.4.0.17 I would appreciate any advice on how to solve these issues. Thanks! Edited to add: I just realised that i am also unable to save new products. For example, i duplicate a product, make all necessary changes like product details, name etcetc and then save. On main category list, it will show the new product name. but when i click on it, all the details are of the item that it was duplicated from.
  11. I followed the instructions below and got it working perfectly. However, i actually tried all the steps a few times as the box and send button was not showing up at first and then i cleared the smarty cache & compile & and then everything worked. (should have thought of that earlier ) Thanks so much for the tips phrasespot! Btw, could anyone be able to tell me how to move the captcha box to the middle of the form as it's now on the left? Also, can i use it on more then 1 form? I tried adding it to productquestion.tpl as well but only the text showed up. Thanks in advance!
  12. Just an update to say that if I changed the status update in the order (it at first had no status and i changed it to 'preparation in progress'), it shows up under the BO orders tab. However, i was only able to do this with one of the 'missing' orders as the other 2 were blank orders (without products) and had no option for me to change the orders status.
  13. HI, I've been using prestashop Version 1.3.2.3 for the last 2 years and as far as i know have never encountered this problem. Nor have I updated or changed anythign recently. However, i realised yesterday that there are 2 orders not showing up in the Backoffice. 1 is for a Paypal order while the order is for a bank wire order. I only realised this because I have the 'I RUN A SHOP' app on my phone. The app shows that the 2 orders as valid orders but I couldn't find them on the BO and that's when i realised that something was not working. I then counted back the order numbers to see if any other orders were missing and then saw another missing PayPal order on the 13th July. When i checked back to the customers records of the 3 missing orders, the orders do show up in the account, however, are not listed as 'valid' orders. Also 2 of the orders are blank (i,e, i can't see any products, only the amount payable.) I've attached some pictures to show what i mean. I've checked the forum but can't find anything like mine as most people seem to have this problem after upgrading or only with PayPal orders. If anyone has any idea what the problem could be, i'll be very grateful. BTW, i'm using PayPalAPI v1.0 if that helps. Thanks in advance!

  15. Olivia123, Julia Williams claimed that she has refunded me .... my bank says that no refund was made and Julia as usual, did not reply my email askign for the date the refund was made. Please update me here on the date they refund was made and the amount refunded. Thanks.
  16. HI, Not sure if you are Julia William .... but please note that the issues are certainty not "okay now"! I have sent Julia Williams 3 email since Friday and she has not bothered to reply to any of them at all! One of the emails contained image files of both the agreed upon design work and the design work that you completed as of friday. I circled the difference in RED so that you can not miss the mistakes! And the last time i checked the backoffice there was ALOT of bugs and Julia did not give me the link to check the backofffice so I was not able to do so on Friday. I sent her an emai lto ask for the link and again, she did not reply! I do not know which requests are "refinement of Prestashop modules wouldn't be completed as they weren't discussed initially " that you are referring to so I won't comment on that as yet. I paid for 2 aspects - 1) design work for USD275 for a custom template that I agreed your company could sell on your website to other people - this has not been completed as per the design we both agreed on. I also paid for an upgrade of prestashop to the latest version and to carry forward all data (for USD275). Julia did not upgrade it as she claimed it was too difficult and instead installed a new version ... i have no probem with that. but there are ALOT of bugs and error with the backoffice and shopping cart. Errors showing up when i placed orders, not able to create voucher etc.... too many to list here. She has claimed that it is completed but I need to create vouchers for my customers and most importantly, I cannot have an unstable website and ..... to me and most people i would say, this is a basic requirements that ANY programer should adhere to! As for the data, you brought it over in March BEFORE you finished the design work and had the cheek to ask me to pay another USD250 if i want you to update it when the job is completed. Which just not make any sense to me at all! Why would you bring it over months before you finish the design as obviously the data is now 3 months outdated and i will have lost 3 months of customer, order and voucher details and more! To any ecommerce owner, customer and order information is something very important .... You should understand this! I am very very unhappy about this but have already gave up on this and have told Julia that i will pay another company to update it for me after you complete the design. All I am expecting at this moment is a website that looks AS PER THE DESIGN WE AGREED and a STABLE WEBSITE free of errors and bugs. Is this really too much to ask for????!!! I have mentioned this numerous times to Julia.Please do not make it seem that I am asking for any more then that by writing sentences like "we didn't promise we'd be improving these features"! I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with your behavior and attitude and will be asking my credit company to claim back the money. The time you have taken is unreasonably long and you just keep giving lame excuses or even worse - just ignored my emails! Julia promised me that I would be able to launch the new site on 1st Jan 2012! It's been 6 months passed that date! Not once have you ever apologised for the delay! I have wasted almost 8 months (we first started talking in late November 2011), and during this time, i have put aside marketing and expansion plans as I wanted to wait for the new website to be ready. This has lost me potential new customers and revenue and has caused me alot of stress. I've also spent so many hours writing emails and trying to contact Julia as she goes MIA most of them and does not reply to most emails. In this time i could have been doing something more productive. I strongly urge Prestashop to ban this company so that other prestashop users will not have to go through what i did.
  17. Hi Everyone! Thanks for all your support and help... especially Mike! I received an email from Julia to inform me that they have refunded me but the same email also had a link to see the design part of the work I paid for so I am not very sure if she still wants to continue with the job or not. I have sent her an email to confirm. Below are the updates: 1) Design work is still not completed as agreed at beginning (about 6 months ago!). 2) backoffice link was not given to me today and so am not able to check if all is in order (I last checked about 3 weeks ago when it was still filled with many bugs and errors.) 3) they claim that refund have been made but bank says refund is not through yet. will call bank on Monday to confirm again as its possible that it could take a few days to go through. 4) I sent them an email reply to tell them design work still not correct and asked for backoffice link for me to check but still no reply from them. They are based in europe and office hours should be over soon and since they don't work on weekends, I do not expect any reply from them till at least Monday. I will update everyone again on Monday. In the meantime, hope everyone has a great weekend! : )
  18. Hi everyone, Sorry for the long post but I've had such a bad experience with this company that I feel the need to warn others. The company is [Please avoid this company. The representative from it is Julia Williams. This company contacted me back in dec 2011 in response to a post i left here looking for someone to help me to bring over my database. After talking to them, I paid them a total of US550 to carry over the database and to create a new web design based on my old site. I paid them in Dec 2011 after they assured me that they would be able to complete the job by 1st Jan 2012. Till date this company has not completed the job i paid them for back in Dec 2011!!!! They told me that they were from America - however i later found out that they are based in Ukraine. I found this out when my website was suspended 3 times while they were doing god know what on my site and my host informed me that the IP address was from Ukraine. I have nothing against people from Ukraine but did not appreciate the lie! At the beginning, things seemed fine, they would give me an update every alternate day or so with the design work. Jan 2012 arrived and i realised that they would not be completed. however, i was still ok with it. It reached March and i started to get upset and chased them for a completion date which she would ignore. Then they told me that they would not be able to carry over my data base at all but would not be refunding me a single dollar. (They had told me at the beginning that they may be errors carrying over the database but they would be able to do it.) Only after i sent them a strongly worded email did they bring over the database. However, to my shock, they would not be updating it unless i paid US$250 for it and as they had not even started the design aspect of the job, it angered me as I would be losing new data from that date till whenever they decided to finish the job! It really was not logical at all that they would carry over the database when they still had a long way to go with the design part of the job - if they had no intention of updating it upon completion, then they should have only brought it over nearer to completion! Now the database is so outdated that its basically useless! Any one should now how important things like customer and order data are to any shop! Around April, they claim that they have finished the work but when i checked, the backoffice had alot of bugs and errors to it, i could not add shipping carriers or vouchers, and i would get logged out suddenly and too many other things that would be too long to list here. And the design work that we agreed on was so different from what they did .. and when i called them on it, they claimed that it was as what we agreed on till i forwarded them the images of the design that they had sent me in the beginning to prove the difference. I sent them a long email with a list of all the errors and things still not done and they agreed to complete everything. However, from April till now, they refuse to give me a completion date and ignore most emails. Only sometimes if i'm very lucky someone called Julia Williams might bother to reply once a week to tell me that they still doing the work but refusing to give me a completion date. I have asked them to give me a refund, delete their work (as they are selling my custom website design on their site, I am thinking they can earn back the time spent) and i can employ someone else to to start afresh with my job as i simply cannot wait indefinitely to have my website completed (if fact i don't have any faith that they will ever finish it) but they have refused to give me an answer - they just ignored my request. I own a small business and cannot afford to lose the US$550 that i've already spent. This has caused me so much stress. I've also not been able to grow my business as I've been waiting for the new website to be completed so as to make use of some functions of the prestashop version which I don't have now. It's been a nightmare working with this company! They've been totally irresponsible and unreliable and I strongly advise everyone not to get any custom jobs from them!

I have resorted to 'stalking' them by posting on their fb page and this forum, sending them emails and sometimes if i'm very lucky someone called Julia Williams might bother to reply once a week to tell me that they still doing but refusing to give me a completion date. They have also caused my website to crash a number of times! I also paid them to bring forward my database from my older version of prestashop and they did that ... 3 months ago ... and refuse to update the database unless i pay them again for bringing over the database! Which company would bring over a database and then spend another 3 months doing god knows what to complete the design part of the job. Now the database is so outdated that its bascially useless! I have asked them to give me a refund, delete their work (they are selling my custom website design on their site so they can earn back the time spent) and i can employ someone else to to start afresh with my job as i simply cannot wait indefinitely to have my website completed (if fact i don't have any faith that they will ever finish it) but they have refused to give me an answer - they just ignored my request. Irresponsible! I strongly advise everyone not to get any custom jobs from them.

  22. Hi! My shop is running version Version 1.3.2.3 - 0.057s and we want to upgrade to the latest stable version with current data and theme intact with very min. downtime as it's a active shop. After upgrade, there will be a number of smaller jobs to add new features and modules, fix some problems with alignment and/or modules issues etc. my site is www.thegeishapearl.com I would need this to be completed within 3 weeks max.
