  1. Paul C's post in [SOLVED] Is it possible to enable developer mode only for some IP address? was marked as the answer
    You could probably modify config/defines.inc.php and test e.g.
    if ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] == '127.0.0.1')     $developer = true; else     $developer = false; /* Debug only */ if (!defined('_PS_MODE_DEV_'))     define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', $developer); Obviously 127.0.0.1 should be replaced with your external IP address which you'll get from the likes of www.whatsmyip.org if you don't know what it is.

    Not that I can recommend what you're doing - you should really look at adding an additional field... but.......

    Wouldn't it just have been much simpler (and less destructive of the core files) just to add an override for the validation? Just stick this in a file called:
    /override/classes/Validate.php and stop editing those core files
    <?php class Validate extends ValidateCore { /* * Pretend that we're really checking an ean * but treat a string as valid * */ public static function isEan13($ean13) { return is_string($ean13); } }

    Can you post an export of the table  structure? Have you looked in the server error log to see if there's an error?

    The reason I mention an uninstall/install is because people often forget that the registerHook() call is only made during an install, so you can't add extra functions to a module that's already installed and expect them to work
  4. Paul C's post in [SOLVED] Changing font - with @font-face was marked as the answer
    You can take a look at the source for http://fontawesome.io/ to see a practical implementation (it's designed for the Bootstrap framework but is an excellent general example regardless).

    There's also some good background reading here: http://www.webdirections.org/blog/the-return-of-font-embedding-to-the-web/ including information about compatibility and standards for font embedding.

    Have fun!
