Backoffice login error

Hello to all and thanks for reading.

 

I have installed and tried the 1.6.1.6  and 1.6.1.7 versions of PrestaShop on localhost (LAMP), everything is fine until I get to the backoffice log in page. Instead of a 'sign in' button, there is just a blue bar, and when I type the user/password, the box disappears and there is only the prestashop logo standing there. Nothing else happens.

 

I checked with Firebug and I could extract this error:

 

POST http://localhost/prestashop/admin964qmnwkf/ajax-tab.php?rand=1477297687973

 

500 Internal Server Error

  29ms

jquery-....min.js (línia 4)

 

I also checked the prestashop/log files to find this every time I tried to log in

*ERROR*     2016/10/24 - 10:28:08: Property PrestaShopLogger->message is empty at line 909 in file classes/ObjectModel.php

 

I have been googling it for several hours and I didn't get anywhere. I would appreciate a lot some sort of help

I have the same problem.

I hope there is any solution for this.

what language or localization settings are you using?  Perhaps that localization is not 100% complete, and is causing these problems.   Anything else appearing in the php error log?

I also have the same problem... The frontoffice works correctly but I cannot login to the backoffice (

 

I have installed a Catalan version but I will try to install a Spanish version

 

I hope someone find a solution...

I have installed Spanish version and it works! This issue is due to the language installation...
