After upgrading to 1.6.1 bulk product upload will not copy images

Recommended Posts

I upgraded to 1.6.1.0 and started to do some additional bulk product uploads of products, which I have done several times and have had no issues uploading over 1000 products before the 1.6.1 upgrade. I do them 100 per import and am now testing with 10 and now 1 product trying to resolve issue. The image is valid with a valid link on a VPS server and a seperate domain from the domain of the store. I have tried HTTP:// and HTTP://www. and just wwww and I get the same error. It creats the listing just fine but will not copy image.

Here is the line I have in csv file and I have changed the domain name

Image URLs (x,y,z...) http://mydomain.net/_vendorimg/aop/aopsostrans.png

Here is the error I am getting and the thing that looks different is the two errors almost like it is splitting the http from the rest of address.

  • Rewrite link for 2015 SOS South Carolina History (ID: null) was re-written as 2015-sos-south-carolina-history.
  • Error copying image: http
  • Error copying image: //mydomain.net/_vendorimg/aop/aopsostrans.png

Thank you in advance for any assistance!!!

Please help me with the image issue which we are facing when uploading our products via csv in Prestashop as in the Image url we are giving a link which is not of our domain but a link of an external website but that image is not getting displayed in the frontend when we are opening the same product page by directly accessing our website. Please help us in resolving this issue. We are using Prestashop 1.6.0.14.

Waiting for some reply on the same.

Hello,

We are trying to create a csv sheet of products through Excel sheet of MS Office 2013 but when we are saving it as .csv format then the attributes are not displayed in comma seperated format rather than in the conventional excel format. Please help us in converting the excel sheet to a sheet of products with attributes seperated by commas. When we are trying to save as the excel sheet in csv format the sheet is getting saved in such format with .csv extension but the values remain as the same in tables & rows like in old excel format. Please help us.The problem is still theirs. We are not getting the sheet in conventional csv format seperated by semi-colons.
