  1. Thank you. I will check it and get back to you soon.
  2. Can anyone help me? I hired a web developer via oDesk but not only could he not finish the job within the month given to (nor the following two weeks that I have waited to hear from him since) but he has done something to my back office. (See attached file). I have 8 changes that I need making ordered by importance below. 1* Most importantly the back office errors need fixing 2* Photo's now appear and work differently - I have version 1.4.7 but the pictures no longer enlarge when hovered above, nor can you scroll through the images (they appear in a grid style). When you click a photo to enlarge you have to leave my site and press back to return to the product. I'd like this changed back to how it was. 3* Paypal/Order summary page does not display the short summary 4* The Categories list disappears when you enter a product's page - can this be changed? 5* The site has been made wider but is now too wide - I have to scroll to see the right hand side of the page and the left hand side is too far left. 6* The products pages were changed to grid style - but I feel this has been done sloppily. Can this be neatened up. 7* The subcategories when you press the home button had been changed to centred (but was so misaligned I had them change it back) - Can this be properly centred with clear images and centred text also. 8* Lastly the slideshow is now acting a little odd - I uploaded pictures which do not appear live on the site and the ones that are there vibrate or transition too quick. Can this be fixed. My budget is extremely tight at the moment so could I please ask how many of the above changes can I have made for £50 - £80 (approx $77 - $124) and how much would it cost to complete all of the changes. Any help/quotes would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Leah James www.wnmclothing.co.uk
  3. Thanks, I will have a look now :-)
  4. I have a few tweaks I want made to my site (some are not complex at all - I could do it myself but I need an expert anyway so will let them do it all). These tweaks are pretty small i.e. I want a grid styled products page instead of list, I want my Paypal payment button to look different with different text, I want some text removed/replaced and the order summary fixed. I'm gathering quotes for an expert but my budget is extremely tight - can anyone let me now how much I should be paying for these relatively minor changes. It seems experts are charging between $5 - $30 per hour but depending on how many hours work this sort of thing is the price difference could be quite staggering. Any help, ideas would be much appreciated. Kindest regards, Leah www.wnmclothing.co.uk
  5. Thank you Benjamin. I will do that and hope to hear back from some developers. I love this forum - it couldn't be more helpful. Thanks again. Leah

  7. Hi Benjamin, Can you help you me. Having the same problem as above - default theme, no attributes appearing in my customers shopping cart back end. Would appreciate any help you could give me at all. many thanks, Lulu
  8. I have the same problem. I have used the Generator and the cart shows correctly but no attributes appear in the Back office/ Customers/ Shopping Cart. Any ideas why or what to do?
  9. Click Catalog tab and beneath it should be the 'Attributes and Groups' tab. From there you can add your attribute groups like size, colour etc as well as attributes like S, M, L etc.
  10. Hi, I have set up a product which is customisable and has three product attributes, but when the item is ordered I can only see the colour attribute selected in the back office. I need to see all attributes in the back office to complete orders. Is this possible?
  11. It was a theme I no longer wanted to use & no matter what other theme I saved to use you could still see the old shopping cart plus ... but I looked though each module, switching the ones I didn't recognise on and off until I got rid of the offending modules. Thanks. Not sure how I mark this as SOLVED but it's fine now :-)
  12. I installed a theme and now I cannot remove part of the old cart and the creators name and link. I am using version 1.4 something (my hosting company installed it for me so not sure) Any help would be great. Thanks
  13. Just to keep everyone updated. I explained my problem to my hosting company (as I was getting the same issue when I tried to use opencart and tomatocart). They installed version 1.4. I'm not even sure what... 7 I think and it seems to be alright. Except like a plum I imported a theme which has screwed things up again. I will start another post for it though. Hope everyone else has had good luck with it all :-)
  14. :-( Still stuck!! Deleted everything, created a new database. Re-downloaded Prestashop, uploaded to server. Twice. But I again get stuck at back office log in. - Have tried the above again but this time I am unable to log in from the front office even as a customer so as to swap the passwords on the database. Happy to send you all log in details etc if the offer still stands tdr170 or anyone else. All help very much appreciated.
  15. Thank you so much for all your help but I deleted it already (needed to be proactive, hate twiddling my thumbs :-) I've created a new database to use too. Thanks again. I hope you other guys resolve the problem (I may be back here in a few hours with the same issue). Good luck.
