Okay, figured it out. So the problem was the php-fpm service was causing the site to not load after the change. To fix this: 1) we first stopped the php-fpm service 2) the site loaded properly 3) relaunched the php-fpm service 4) regenerated the .htaccess and robots.txt file. Also, after the relaunch, i lost all my product images. Tried regenerating the .htacces file in SEO URL, however it did not work. To fix this, i had to rename the existing .htaccess file and then regenerate a new one from SEO URL. Good to go. ps: the prestashop version is 1.7.5

Hi Bellini I ran into a problem while moving over to my sub folder and got the Error 404 (maybe 401). Here are my steps, could you let me know what you see. my old site sits on www.mysite.com and new site sits on www.mysite.com/new_subfolder 1) Told my host to point domain from public_html to new_subfolder 2) Changed in new site, backoffice under SEO and URLs the base url from /new_subfolder/ to / and saved 3) Page refreshes and i cant see anything, when i load the new admin page www.mysite.com/adminpage i get an error Even tried the other way 1) Changed in backoffice base url from /new_subfolder/ to / 2) Told host to point domain to new_subfolder Same result with Error message.

Hi Guys, As a US based company, we offer Free Shipping to our US mainland customers only on orders above $200. But for our Alaska, Hawaii and Canada customers, we do not want to offer free shipping. How would i configure this.

Hi El Patron, Thank you for your response, I didn't receive a notification when you posted this Saw this today while responding to another post. I did get this module to work, by hooking it to the following locations: - customer account page display in front office - product out of stock - my account block We received notifications for about 6 orders. However on one of the orders via PayPal there was a payment error, but we received a notification of a new order. Any ideas why ?

Hi Guys, I just manually upgraded from 1.3.1 to 1.4.11 and after going through the install, it showed me "Unfortunately there was 1 SQL error" Ive attached the log, please let me know if you can see what the error is and how to fix this. The site is working fine, but im not sure why the above error was shown. Thanks Upgrade SQL log.txt

Just like Anseme said. Its very easy if you have a backup .... if they only will make the upgrade process as easy First, upload your database from 1.3 version Next, delete all your current files on your site. Lastly, upload all your old backup files from 1.3 to your site Thats it, magically everything is back to normal like nothing happened. I recently tried to upgrade to 1.5 from 1.4 and boy did i have a problem. Luckily to roll back is very very simple ...."IF" you have backups in place.

I just noticed that if i manually upload images one by one and set them as cover, then all the thumbnails generate perfectly with the black images. So the real question is how do you import images and set them as cover to then allow all the thumbnails to generate

Vekia, thanks for the quick response ! I went to the database and updated the ps_image table. I set all the black images to be the cover. The reason is, when i uploaded the black images, they were added as additional images. To show them as the default image, i had to make them the cover image.

Hi Guys, Im hoping someone has a quick solution for this. Ive had to reupload all my images as i wanted them on a black background. After uploading, i went into the database and updated all the new images as the cover. While this set all the product images, it did not solve the thumbnails issue. All the thumbnails are still the old images (except the large thumbnails). I tried several times to regenerate thumbnails, but it hasnt solved the problem. I did clear my cache to ensure that was not the issue So please help me, i only want to delete the images (old / new) and then will re-upload all the images. Im about to delete all my products and re-upload all my new images if i cannot find a better solution. I really do not want to delete my products Please help guys.
