Finally... Set permissions to 755 on index.php and instal/index.php Then installed through Chrome not Firefox - firefow plugins seem to be causing an issues.

This is the error: Invalid X-Frame-Options header was found when loading “https://addons.prestashop.com/psinstall1541.php?version=2&lang=en&activity=0&country=gb”: “ALLOWALL” is not a valid directive.psinstall1541.php

I am having the same problem and tried all verisonof PHP (PS 1.7.7.7; PHP 7.1,7.2,7.3,7.4) Any other ideas? I have now tried PS 1.7.7, 1.7.6, 1.7.5, 1.7.4 runnig all different versions of PHP but still not working. I have installed PS on the server before with no problems. Is there a problem with the addons module? Thanks

Thanks ndiaga but I need then to be accessible in the facetied search and Suppliers is not available, only brands... In the end I have used the Suppliers as suggested and installed the Advanced Seach module (at a cost). Thanks all

Not quite. Doing that works fine. It is a problem with imported products from an earlier version (1.6 to 1.7) as you can only import them to one site and when this is done it is impossible to edit them to go into both shops.

I am running 1.7 (upgraded one shop from 1.6) and have imported all products etc from the old 1.6 version (worked perfectly). However, the 1.7 multistore (2 stores) does not let me edit the products and make them available to the other store! Even if I select ALL SHOPS form the multistore option and then edit one of the imported products the admin states: You are in a multistore context: any modification will impact all your shops, or each shop of the active group. Then if I save said product it still does not show in the 2nd shop!!! Therefore, i did a test and created a new product in ALL SHOPS. Looked in the DB table ps_product_shop and can see there are 2 entries for the ID: This seems to suggest that imported products can NOT be shared in multistore option? Massive, massive oversight... Any thoughts/help
