  1. Yes much clearer. Probably the best would be to edit that module? Did you tried to contact the module owner for the custom job? He knows it's code and could do it fast for you. Or if interested we could give you a quote for this personalisation in PM.
  2. Hi We are developers of "Ask for a quote module" could help you in this, but need more details. Step 3 is OK, as we also have it in ours, but step 2 is not that clear. We will send you a PM to clarify. Cheers!
  3. Hi You could post a similar service or website so we know atleast the level of customisations you need and we could send you a quote do develop it. Cheers!
  4. Hi Not sure that you will find such a complex module for free. What did you had in mind? Maybe some sample website? Did you searched on addons? Cheers!
  5. As a late mainly off-line topic, but commenting the above post: whatever the module was developed by us or another developer, you should note, that it is illegal to send the downloaded ZIP file to other people. They can own it only by purchasing on any of the legal ways they are provided with!
  6. Hi there This module is built by us, and you should have contacted us right away as you had issues using Addons "Contact developer" option, or by the ways stated in the attached readme_en.txt file. If you still have issues with the module, please get back to us here, or via mail. Regards!
  7. Heyy Here's a fix / how-to for ya How to display attachments in product list or category page http://www.presta-shop-modules.com/prestatips/9-show-attachments-in-product-list
  8. Well the answer is simple: you can't Or you can, but with lots of custom work! In a simple way, the most you could do is to hide the price field with CSS, but in cart or on overview page, prices will be visible. So you change text accordingly, like saying this is informative price. To achieve what you want, try 2 options: 1) HARD but FREE - hide the prices with CSS from every single page - change text on buttons (too many to list), on pages (checkout, product lists, product detail, specials, viewed, new, home, order hstory, order details etc etc etc) and on sideblocks (cart, viewed, new, specials) to reflect the informative status of the client actions - HARD: you must edit a payment module too. Cash On Delivery would be eprfect as it lets you submit orders without any questions or payment invite - edit the emails related to orders, and remove price + change text to say you will call them back - you will see all submitted orders in back office and you can email or call clients to arrange payment or bargain or whatever Cons: - all ordering process is affected so you cannot have orders and quotes - there is a huge chance that you will miss a page or module and clients will be faced with a price 2) EASY but NOT FREE Purchase a Quotation module, like this one here (developed and supported by us): http://addons.prestashop.com/en/front-office-features-prestashop-modules/3725-Ask-for-a-Quote-module-for-PrestaShop-devis-.html Pros: way too many, read the feature list Cons: price only (well actually this is no costrary, but in your case could be as you are not willing to pay). But remember: you want a shop (even if is just a presentation website in the end), which is a gateway between you and your clients, and in the end, this platform/website reflects YOU, and MUST show trust. If it's not done properly, you will loose lots of potential clients. So the question stands: FREE solution is more important than loosing clients? Think about it! BTW: good luck if you choose solution nr. 1 Regards, The Presta FABRIQUE team
  9. Found it! On bottom of this page there is a Download link fro both English / French versions of the guide: http://www.prestadb.com/selling-prestashop-themes-modules-guidelines/ Cheers!
  10. Hi There was a small "on the spot" PDF on Addons with the steps you must take to submit your theme / module, but not finding it anymore. If anybody knows where it is, would be a good starting point for you. Cheers!
  11. Hi We also faced this problem on a shop lately, and this is what we think: the problem is due to test orders. After testing the shop, owner can delete orders with a simple trick (adding a line of code to AdminOrders.php does the trick), BUT - and here is the catch - only orders are deleted. This looks OK in BackOffice, but the situation in your database is much more complex and nested. Eg there is another table that holds order details and order history, and theese must be emptied too. Example: - order no. 1 had an ipod. this is saved in the order details table and order history too - owner deletes order no. 1 - owner decides to do another test order. Submits it, and will be ID no. 1 again - order page is OK but some other pages and emails are not, because they take the info from the details table, which now holds 2 lines of data for order no. 1 - and so on and on with every ID and every delete As a proposed solution (without checking because was easier to empty thoose tables): the request query should be changed where the list is problematic, so it takes only the last entry related to an order and not all. Hope this helps!
  12. Hi This module might help you: Home product tabs for Prestashop http://www.presta-shop-modules.com/prestashop-modules/14-home-product-tabs-for-prestashop-featured.html It has three tabs: Featured / New / Specials With a few small edits, specials only can be listed!
  13. Hi Exactly what do you want to achieve? To have a webshop with a gallery module intergated to upload/manage pictures or you want a picture selling webshop? Cheers!
  14. Hi there The process is pretty easy, once you know what and how to do. 1) First of all, move all files to the root, from the subfolder. Best is to use your cPanel (or other platform) filemanager to do this, as FTP might be slow. 2) Enter your database with PhpMyAdmin, and find the table called "ps_configuration" and find entry "PS_SHOP_DOMAIN". Edit and enter "www.mydomain.com" - without quotes and use your domain! 3) On same table you could edit "PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL" to be empty (in case you don't use SSL) 4) with FTP head to root/config and edit file called "settings.inc.php". Find this row: define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/subdomain/'); (where "subdomain" will be your real subdomain or subfolder) Modify this to have a dash only, like this: define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/'); Save and upload. You should be done! Good luck!
  15. Hi there It seems that you purchased a module developed by us. To solve your problems, please use the "Contact seller" option in addons section (where you made the purchase) but please make sure you are logged in. Or, you can write us directly from our website by going to: http://www.presta-shop-modules.com/contact-us In both cases, please provide us your Prestashop version, and describe your problem as accurate as possible. Thank you!
