I try to install Prestashop 1.7.6.2 on my docker configuration.
And I've always same error during the installation at the "Install theme" step.

The first mention to this problem here was in 2013 (PS 1.5) and it is still active. This tells me that experienced people configure their carts in another way. Could you please point me in the right direction?

After I installed successful. I login to the CMS admin. But when I click on any items on the right menu (setup Categories, Products, Orders, ....) , it always navigate to front online store instead of stay in CMS page and setup store

where can i find php.ini file to configure it in presta files

I am struggling with this error for two days now and cannot complete the setup process for some reason I cannot understand.

I am stuck at step 4 of the installation. I get an error message: "Database Server is not found. Please verify the login, password and server fields (DbPDO)". The problem is, all data and creditentials are 100% correct. I have tried 127.0.0.1, localhost, external IP and schemas with different names/types. This is a standalone server, with setup done from scratch on FreeBSD. I have created multiple users and multiple schemas in MySQL - together with various combinations of administrative authorizations/schema rights. Everything works as a charm when using MySQL CLI or Workbench from my desktop - I can log in with any user I want, make changes to schemas, etc. I have used sockstat to check if the port 3306 is open on both localhost and external address (FFS, it has to be, as I can connect both locally and from the Workbench). Unfortunately, prestashop refuses to give me any detailed information what is wrong with my DB setup, even when turning on DEV mode in configuration files.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong here? Is there any other place I should check, maybe DB configuration? Still, why is there no problem connecting from other sources? Maybe it is an issue with correct owner/rights combination on some files? Honestly, I am completely out of ideas ATM. To make matters a little bit mor crazy, I have done exactly the same setup about two weeks ago and everything worked like a charm!

I write for a rather common problem but I have not yet managed to deal with it despite having fathomed the web.

Migration from ONE domain (one.pippo.org) to TWO domain (two.pluto.it). In both cases these are subdomains on which Prestashop is installed 1.7.6.2. I backed up the database, file and uploaded everything on the new server. Modified the file / app/config/parameters.php with the new access parameters to the DB, clearly modified the DB with the new URL before importing it, and also modified  the .htaccess on the new server.

Result - Error 500:

I am trying to install Prestashop in One.com. I have tried with versions 1.7.6.2 and 1.7.6.1.

After launching the installation, in the last step I get this error message at 67%:

After looking it up on Internet without interesting results, I have contact with One.com support and they have told me to enable PHP error messages and Prestashop debugging. Then, I get this new error message at 12% of the installation:

1: Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set max execution time limit due to system policy

They have also told me to do this:

In file /classes/ConfigurationTest.php > search for the function public static function test_dir > add at the beginning of this function these lines:

I get the same time warning message, and another advisor has told me that One.com has a limit, so I need a PrestaShop version with a maximum execution time installation of 50 seconds.

I've been trying to install PrestaShop 1.7.6.2 on my Debian 9 VPS for a few days now, but I can't.

During the installation I always have the same error in the same place:

I have installed all the required and recommended PHP modules. I even used their system audit tools (phppsinfo.php) and all indicators are green.

I really don't know what to do anymore. If you have an idea, I'll take it.... Thank you!

I am unable to upload any file such as image slider or to configure the main menu when using Google Chrome. The pop up menu that you use to select a file does not appear and you cant add  menu items.

Everything seems to work correctly using Internet Explorer or Firefox. 

Is this a Prestashop issue or Chrome?

I have a copy of mysql55 on my server and that runs on port 3307. Note that I know there is an obscure bug with PHP that requires you to use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost when using another port (took me ages to figure this on my CRM system!)

I have setup a prestauser and created a blank DB on the MySQL server.

When I run the install and try to test the connection I get:

Database Server is not found. Please verify the login, password and server fields (DbPDO)

I have forced it to try with MySQLi too by hacking the Db.php file and forcing DbMySQLi but that fails as well.

I've tried setting PS_DEBUG_SQL = true but see no logging anywhere.

I've tried running install_cli.php

php71 ./index_cli.php --step all --db_server 127.0.0.1:3307 --db_name prestashop --db_user prestauser --db_password abc1234

I have installed everything, everything is setup in a way that I think is correct (I might be wrong though) but things seem to work fine EXCEPT for images of products

When uploading the image of the product it shows up on the product, when saving though it does not get saved.  It does not show on the product page and when editing the product the images are blank

I have tried enabling and disabling the prety URLS, I have rebuilt the thumbnails.

I think the problem is with the images not saving (uploading) correctly

How can I fix it?

But after this if I go to http://127.0.0.1/modules/ps_facetedsearch/ps_facetedsearch-price-indexer.php?token=08a41c3857&cursor=19&full=1 in my browser, it displays "1" with no error (http status 200)

It was working fine with 1.7.5.2 version... 

Could you help me to resolve this please?

For those, who could encounter Internal server error 500 during the installation of PrestaShop 1.7.0.x

A small solution, that was discovered recently on some hosting providers.

When you try to install your Prestashop ver.1.7 you receive the 500 internal server error.

If it is not connected with php zip extension, then it is error with file permissions.

Open your FTP account and locate the index.php file from your installation (after you have unpacked the downloaded archive).

Change the permissions for this file: deactivate permissions from "all users" to "yourself" and activate "execution".

And that's all. Your installation will start after this small change.

I am trying to install prestashop on my server with no success. 

I am getting the following message in the System compatibility section of the installation wizard:

• Parámetros PHP requeridos

• Intl extension is not loaded

• Parámetros PHP recomendados

• Install and enable the intl extension (used for validators).

I've been researching online and trying different things, updating the php version, trying to install the intl extension but nothing seems to work.

What is the solution to fix this problem?

I am running a CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 Virtualmin server with PHP 7.0.27

I am trying to install PrestaShop 1.7 for the first time. Unfortunately it is not an easy task.

I already solved two problems by myself (cache error due to max_execution_time and HTTP 500 error).

Now, the current problem:

1: HTTP 200 - parsererror - 

Can someone please help?

a.) maybe wrong code or wrong allocation where the file should be? 

b.) I am not quite sure how I should adapt the code on line 159 in the file "PrestaShopAutoload.php"

I'm facing an issue while I'm trying to install Prestashop. In the Installation Assistant everythinf works fine, except Install Addons modules. It stops at 67% and gives HTTP 404 - error - . Does anyone know how to fix it?

I've tried to reinstall it again, after deleted the tables in the database, and also tried to create a new database but the error always comes up at 45%.

I've successfully installed 1.5 before on the same server with no issues.

I have removed .htaccess file from the main directory and regenerated it by turning on Friendly URL but it did not help. It's hard to have a shop without images. Can anyone help me with that problem?

Problem solved. It was a server problem.

I need help with my recent problem. Basically i decide to change my hosting to VPS(godaddy) and that's what i made:

1. All files transferred from hosting to VPS

2. Database uploaded and connected via settings.inc.php

3. php ini configured

4. permission for files and folders 755

5. After when i Rekey SSL, my webshop was working for 5 mins, then gone for 500 Server Error

I dont really know why it say that Table doesn't exist, because it is there. Only difference is that in column Cardinality all 0(on the new server), but on webhosting is 1. If that make sense.

I have migrated my prestashop 1.5.6 e-commerce site to a new server,

Process i did was just upload the files to new server and import the db.

I cleaned the Cache/smarty/compile and Cache/smarty/cache folders and left the index.php file.

I tried regenerating thumbnails from Preferences/images page but didn't work and gave "Internal server error".

I changed the process configuration to FcgidBusyTimeout 3600 in /etc/httpd/conf.d/fcgid.conf

I tried again to regenerate and this time, it is gave that : Original images not found in /img/p/1/2/xxx, But in reality all my images are in /img/p/xxxx.png

I tried using the Move Images to New image structure function in Preferences/images page and it created the structure but 1400+ images are not found now !!

Anyhelp will be more then welcome !

I have a problem with prestashop installation on the server. When I upload all clear files (prestashop 1.7.6.1), nothing happenes on my domain: dekorisa.pl. I checked Apache logs and got these errors below:

In order to be sure I removed all files from my server and again downloaded clear prestashop and again uploaded it by FTP to my server. Problem happened again.

Already tried with English nad Polish, same result.

I encounter Internal Server error 500 since I change the language to French.

I see in log file that something wrong with missing translation (see screenshot)

I am working in debug mode since then to avoid crash.

I have installed prestashop 1.7.2.0 for the first time. Everything is working real well excepting the stocks feature in the Sell/Catalog section of the admin panel. When I click on Stocks the Stock management template is loaded and instead of filling the table with data an internal server error occurs. The only message I have found in Debugmode is the following silenced error:

I move my prestashop from subfolder to root and now I have problem with images, don't show.

When I open with firebug show this URL: /prestashop/themes/theme/img/modules/modules/banner-bottom.png 

My domain is now different and another domain, and move on root directories liek this www.newdomain.com

However this was the first problem I came across:

PROBLEM:
The issue is the "Launch your shop" helper thing that popped up. I clicked on LATER, but the problem with this is that it puts a block down in the bottom left corner (with the percent you are at and a RESUME button) and this block covers the Shop Parameters and Advanced Parameters so you can can not access those settings while it is there. I then clicked on RESUME and it asks me to add a product (which I did) and I saved the product, but it just keeps coming back to the ADD A PRODUCT screen and I can not seem to figure out what it wants me to do, so you are forever stuck on the ADD A PRODUCT screen.

SOLUTION:
It turns out that this is the WELCOME MODULE forcing you to do this, so the only thing I came up with was to disable that module. Go to IMPROVE > MODULES > MODULE MANAGER and then type WELCOME in the serach box and then click on DISABLE to shut it off. Click on DASHBOARD or refresh your screen and the RESUME BLOCK in the bottom left corner will disappear.

This was the second installation issue that I came across:

PROBLEM:
The next issue I had was that when I tried to access the frontend store, I got a PAGE NOT REDIRECTING error. This took some googling and figured out that it was because I was trying to access the frontend with HTTPS instead of HTTP. This would seem to me to be a bug as you should either be able to access one or the other, or https should at least rediect to http, or at a minimum show a page that says "please use http and not https to access front end". It seems that prestashop could handle this scenario better.

SOLUTION:
One solution is to obviously just use HTTP all the time, however this would not eliminate the error if somebody tries to access the frontend via HTTPS. So the only other solution is to force the site to always use HTTPS. Go to CONFIGURE > SHOP PARAMETER > GENERAL and then set ENABLE SSL ON ALL PAGES = YES. This will force all frontend http requests to redirect to https. As a side note, this option should probably be renamed to ENABLE SSL ON ALL FRONTEND PAGES because it does not force SSL on the back admin pages.

This was the third installation issue that I came across:

PROBLEM:
The next issue I have is that, even with the Enable SSL on all page set to yes, the backend Admin area will still allow you to login using plain HTTP. It does show you a warning at the top of the login screen, but this again seems to be a bug. It should just automatically redirect to HTTPS.

SOLUTION:
I have not yet found the solution to force HTTPS on the backend admin login or to force SSL use on all backend admin pages. I have the bookmarked link to admin backend with https which should prevent me from accidentally using HTTP but there should be an option to ENABLE SSL ON ALL BACKEND ADMIN PAGES.

1. I currently have version 1.6.0.14, now I am upgrading to version 1.7.2.4, in a new installation / host, I know that a new key to the cookie is generated when installing this new installation, I wonder if there is any way to update the passwords of all clients according to this new cookie and not use the cookie of the old version? And if I want to change the cookie manually, is there any way to regenerate the passwords arranged in the database? I am doomed to always use the same cookie key?

Given the same scenario Store 1.6.0.14, the database has more than 50,000 registered customers, where the chosen encryption passwords is Rijndael with mcrypt library, the question is, if I switch to the class Blowfish adapted, how would be the behavior with the rest of the passwords of the clients already registered? Would they be regenerated with the new encryption class? Would there be an incorrect password error for all clients already in the database?

Am i on the right path ?? or must i take something under consideration.

Can anybody tell me about a link to download version 1.6 ? On the developers side I can only find previous versions 1.7 .

I am trying to install fresh PrestaShop on my VPS. VPS has Nginx, MariaDB and PHP-7.2-FPM installed and all required extensions that PS needs. Tested and working. However I'm having problems with database connection.

I get an error stating "Cannot connect to database. Check your login and password. (DbPDO)" I checked it by writing a simple .php script and I can confirm connection works, but prestashop doesn't let me continue. This error doesn't really says much and I would like to know more. Is there a way to debug it or maybe some logs of installation steps?

I have stuck with this error.

I try to install a fresh prestashop 1.7.5.2., but i have 500 server error, when creating database tables, at 12%.

I search on forum but nothing help me to solve this problem.

I try to change the language with english, but nothings change.

I change the FastCGI to CGI but same errors.
