How to remove the prestashop logo from the backoffice in version 1.7.4

I now have noticed you can not add to cart from catalog pages you have to click into the item.

when you click "Add to Cart" from the home page you get the message "Product not found This product is no longer available." but if you click onto the item where you see the product descriptions you can add to cart from there.

I've looked around from some topics similar but no fix.

Has this module been removed from version 1.7 ?

In some other site I read it may be folders permissions problem. I'm on a shared hosting. I have checked, and all my folders are 755 and files 644.

I managed to do it simply by renaming the module's folder I want to deactivate. But I'm unware of what's happening with the normal options in the BackOffice.

I want to redirect product page to home page if product is not available or 404 page in the site.

I am unable to get a virtual product to save to my shop. When pressing the save button, it appears to work, though no green message appears indicating settings updated. After leaving the product entry page, upon return, it is not there. I also noted the digital files link on the left returns a internal server error 500. Are these two issues related? Has anyone else seen this issue? I'd appreciate some insight on this matter.

I just installed a new PS and have a problem with SMTP:

SMTP - is configured well and test mail going thru with success result. Anyway workflow mails (for example confirmation for the customer) returns an error like:

Swift Error: Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username \"xxx@xxx.com\" using 2 possible authenticators

Im using ZOHO mail service.

Installation type (new/update): new
PrestaShop version: 1.7.0.6
Theme (default/customized): default Classic
Code (original/modified): org

I set up a quantity discount for some of the products but the table on the frontend shows "You save up to ****". What I need is to show unit price after discount instead.

This is what i get:

Počet means PCs, Sleva means Discount, Ušetříte means You save up to.. (which i need to change to Unit price after discount)

i'm so dizzy now, dont know what else i can do to solve this error

in registration customer form, i always get this error :

lastname is invalid.

firstname is invalid.

i've tried all suggestions that is available in this forum

i've tried to upgrade to 1.7.5.2 (manual upgrade installation)

I am using Prestashop 1.7.3.0. For Stock Management --> Filter by supplier - it is working only if for the product is checked "Default supplier"

For example I have one product which I buy from 3 suppliers. From Stock Management I want to filter products by supplier but that is possible if for the prodects was selected "Default supplier" 

Any idea if that is normal and if how can I display products by suppliers if it is not checked the default one.

let's say I have a running presta shop with products and registered user there. so there are valuable data already. Let's say I want to install a new theme. What happens with all the data and pages? will it keep the same page structure, like tabs? And will it show the already existing data like products in the new template? So will be there any loss. Where is prestashops default log locations

When i click on continue, the address fields show the first and last name with no label. 

Every shop with 1.6 version works awfully slow in the backend. Ive tried disabling non native modules and overrides, no change at all. Various ps 1.6 diferrent shops affected, so its something widespread.

Any problem out there ?

Does anyone now how to get the stock quantities like shown into the product details into the product list ? Not the into cart button but the real quantities that are available like 5 items in stock, 20 items in stock .....

I managed to do this from the product details into the product additional info but i can't get it into the product list.

I already use the product availability field in the product list but does use it to show the delivery time.

I thought by putting the beneed code into the theme/templates/catalog/_partials/miniatures.product.tpl but it doesn't work.

I have one error when i try to print a order from the backend, the process seems to work correctly but when i open the file , it show kinda bugged. (look file attached)

The invoice and the delivery document work fine, but not the orders.

What is the reason of this error? How can i repair it?

How to avoid the english language site is slowing down the web page speed?

I'm looking for a way to group products by sub-categories when a visitor is viewing a main category.

For example let's say i'm in the smartphone category.

Inside this, there are several sub-categories (Android, Iphone, Windows Phone, Palm etc..), so i would like the products to be grouped by sub-categories, iphone together, windows phones together etc..

As you can see on the attached picture, I opened the debugger to see why the hell the back office of my prestashop 1.7.5.1 is that slow.

Almost 7 seconds to open a page. I already did the following trick but it's not better.

I try to add a new carrier in version 1.7.6.1 without success. I have double checked all settings, furthermore existing carriers and also database.

Maybe here is someone who has the same issue and can help.

Right, I've been running several PrestaShops successfully and am now working with my first client.

All was going well, however, I started getting an Error 500 Issue when trying to upload the ods file of products.

The initial report to my supplier was:

We use the Webservice API in connection with an erp-system. The erp-system gets all the orders from the shop and then it creates the invoices. 

My question: Is there a way to upload the pdf invoice from the erp-system to the order and further to the customer via the API? Or is there a way to create the invoice via the api? The most important thing here is the consecutive invoice number from the erp-system. So that the invoice in the shop does have the same data as the one from the erp-system. 

Looking for every help and tip because i do not find anything on the internet/forums etc...

after setting up Prestashop 1.7, i saw that diffrently from PS 1.6 ther's no "backoffice>customer> registration process type (standard account creation and address creation)", as in need customer fill its address already in the registration form.

How can i merge the address form in the registration form??

I'm using the Prestashop Version 1.7.5.1 and if i increase the product quantity after clicking at the "add to cart" button, the quantity will jump back to the minimum quantity but it will change at the right side. Does somebody know what might cause this issue?

I have a problem with faceted search module in connection with manufacturer name added to product.tpl.

I’ve added {$product.manufacturer_name} in product.tpl to show manufacturer name into the product miniature.

Everywhere this code works fine, except where I have activeted faceted search into the page. In this case the manufacturer name not appears, {$product.manufacturer_name} doesn’t work anymore.

I'm having some problems with product attachment on IOS, i can't open or download pdf in IOS with safari (didn't checked for other browser), for android or desktop browser it's working with no issue.

I noticed that if i deactivate SSL then the link will open on iphone, but that's not a solution.

Link it's like: index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=xxx.

I have changed AttachmentController.php so now pdf will open in a new tab instead of download but w/o any result on iphone.  

I tried few .htaccess rules but w/o succes for example:

  Header set Content-Disposition attachment
</FilesMatch>

Prestashop version is 1.6.1.7

Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

A quick question when it comes to friendly urls. I have tested that friendly urls work (i.e. mod_rewrite/allowoverride) :

But when i: create a new category --> friendly URL "coloured-acrylic".

i get a 404, are these not dynamically handled when i go to:
http://www.lasercuttingsupplies.com/coloured-acrylic

or do i need to create them under:  Traffic & SEO --> SEO & URLs and create a new URL and point it to http://www.lasercuttingsupplies.com/coloured-acrylic and point it to to 6-coloured-acrylic?

am i missing something here?

I'm using Prestashop 1.7.5.2 with a multi store configuration (4 stores, with a different domain for each).

Every time I want to login in the back office section, I can't. There is a unknown problem, with no error message, no errors in the logs (apache, prestashop).

The only solution to login is to clear my browser cache (with clear cache for Firefox for exemple), or to delete my cookies for that domain.

The Viewed Products module when hooked at the bottom of the product page shows name, manufacturer and price info for only the first product. All other viewed products are only showing the product image with no text what so ever.

I'm using Prestashop 1.7.5.2 with Warehouse theme and stock Viewed Products module. The only configurable item is the amount of images to show. It is currently configured as 8 and it does show 8 products with nothing else to tweak. Uninstalling and reinstalling the module doesn't fix it.

Any idea what can cause this or where to begin to look and debug? I really haven't got a clue since I haven't changed anything related to this.

Need some help on the display of discount in shopping cart.

The discount shows a positive number instead of negative when a cart rule applies. See screenshot below.

I tried it on PS 1.7.2.5 and upgrade to 1.7.4.2, but received the same issue with classic and another theme.

Anybody can help how to change the discount to a negative number?

I would like to base a store on drop shipped goods. So far I have found Oberlo which looks very promising but I can't establish if it integrates with Prestashop. 

Has anybody any info on that? Is there any drop shipper that does integrate with Prestashop?

Oh, and during one of my attempts to fix this, I had to recover my website from a full backup.  After this, the contact us page still doesn't work and now my forums page is giving a 404 error that I can't figure out.

Also, I've tried turning on debug mode for the contact  us page issue and no errors are shown.

I have a strange problem which I've been trying to troubleshoot - I've found similar issues online, but not the specific one I'm having.

I'm trialling several SEO tools (Moz, SEMrush, ahrefs), and when they crawl my site (https://accessoriesforthehome.co.uk), I'm getting loads of weird 404 URLs listed in the results.

It's something to do with relative links I think, as it seems to be adding an incorrect path to the URL.

Here's an example:

I get over 22k bad URLs from one of the crawlers and they all seem to be linked to the 2-privacy-policy document which is just a standard CMS page with no weird code in it. The other CMS pages don't appear to cause the same issue (although I'll admit I've not checked all 22k bad links!)

Fortunately, Google Search Console does not appear to be seeing these bad links, but it's a concern as to why the SEO crawlers are.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I have a problem with a new site I'm building on a Prestashop 1.6.0.14 platform.

If I turn on Friendly URL, I get an error

2 errors 

1. The route is not valid
2. Route to modules : Incorrect value

If I turn off Friendly URL and save and then back on and save I dont get an error.

However the shopping cart stops working, you cannot check out. If I turn off Friendly URL, the shopping cart works fine.

The friendly URL is working when turned on as everything else works fine.

I have cleared the cache, deleted and remade the .htaccess file, chmod to 666, 606 (following solved cases online) for this problem

Please help this has meant my site has now been down for 2 days !!!

I've pretty much gave up on trying to sort the speed of the PS. Hosting company said that its the software.. The usual, its not us, its them type of thing..

The above results are with DB full of products, orders and so on.. Custom theme of course and I've disabled pretty much ALL modules apart from stuff like bank, paypal, GDPR module and other smaller modules that really do not do anything..

Then I've also installed (deleted now) a clean install of PS using PS theme and all the modules enabled that are being used on default install and the result is pretty much the same.

Just disabled ALL the modules on installation with full DB.. First hit on document took 5 seconds.. On any additional refreshes, it takes about 2 seconds to load the document itself.

Any ideas?

I have a problem with search bar on my site only with iPhone's. On Android phones it works! On iPhone I can't type any text in search bar or text box in "subscribe" tab. 

Has anyone ever had the same problem?

We are trying to use the same database for our local development in our team. We have managed to connect to the database but it's extremly slow at fetching the data. We have trouble finding why, and perhaps someone here can shed some light.

So we are using Xampp and have setup a Mysql server on Azure (Basic setting, 2 virtual cores, 10GB).

Testing using the local db from Xampp our start page loads within 3-5 seconds (No caching or performance settings turned on)

Loading the same page using our remote mysql server it loads within 30-40 seconds.

One thing that could obviously be the bottleneck is our MySql Server just being to slow. But fetching data using Mysql Workbench is no problem in speed. We are only three members in our team, so the server should be able to handle the workload.

It feels like there is some setting in either Xampp or Prestashop that just doesn't play with our remote server.

Does anyone have any ideas what we can try to speed things up? Or should we just give up on the idea to be able to use the same database (or any other way to do it?)

The reason we want to share database is so we don't have to setup all configurations for shops/modules/whatever for every user every time we makes changes/improvements.

We migrated our webshop from 1.6.1.24 to a new installation of the same version, since then we received complaints from some customers who received a 404 during checkout, but our tests on a large number of devices show that the checkout works well, we do receive new orders.

I suspect that this has something to do with old cookies, or with leftover caches, we tried to delete caches, rebuild theme files, and even completely disable the cache. There are no errors in our php error log.

Can someone help us find a solution to this problem?

My hosting provider does have the putenv disabled, so I am not able to get to the backoffice with the same error messages as here (https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/956135-modules-tab-disable/) when the debug is enabled.

What is strange is that I am able to get to backoffice on previous prestashop installation on the same hosting with the same php setup: http://ekosatna.cz/radminka2/

The hosting provider did not give me an answer why the first eshop works. Just told me they can't enable putenv and there might be a workaround through .htaccess, but they don't know how to do that.

After opening this tab I get Internal Server Error and content is not there. I see only loading animation. 

Pagination only displayed current page number(1) and not displayed next page numbers. Please refer the attachment that right Arrow is working but user has no clue that there is a 2nd page. How to add all page numbers here in pagination with highlighting the current page.

I'm busy to make a shop with a lot of combinations per product.
We have over 1400 combinations, but when I upload these, that product will get problems in the backoffice and in the shop.
The productpage in the backoffice get stuck, you can't get there anymore, so impossible to change anything in this product...
and not always will all the combinations get shown in the shop for the customer.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem, without losing or decrease the combination possibilities?
Maybe there are some settings that I can change, but I don't know which or where.
