I've been in e-commerce for quite some time and also run two fashion brands with different shops, but (still) Shopify is used for this.

Recently I installed Prestashop for my new project and already set up the shop.

My intention briefly explained: I want to create an online shop, through which I sell certain articles. However, I don't sell these items, but other merchants do. But here we're not talking about private people, so that everyone can sell something like Ebay, but more like Amazon, Real or something else.

I have already informed myself a little and there are already such modules like Multivendor etc.. However, it is not yet clear to me how I should do this with the connection that retailers import their products to me via CSV or XML and then automatically get orders etc back into your interface or whatever.

I myself still work as an e-commerce manager, so I know that when we connect a shop where, it is connected via CSV, plugin or XML. Automatic product comparison with stock etc. and order information. Orders, cancellations etc. are also transferred automatically, so that the dealer can also send them.

But how can I do this with Prestashop?
 

I am really grateful for every tip. As I said, I'm new to the community and don't know much about Prestashop.

However, I like the system very much and I think it's best for my project besides Magento.

As we got multiple questions, that it's hard to handle, but we also need chat - I'm looking for a chat with queue like "10 customers in front of you", "7 customers in front of you" with multi language support. I didn't found such solution in addons presta. Nearest is Tawk, but still, then message is "we are currently busy" without counter. Reve chat shows time counter that for me don't present real awaiting time, as you never know how long you'll serve each customer, they are don't support multi language.

since advanced stock management has been discontinued, please tell me what options do I have for managing stocks ? what are you using ?

Does PrestaShop has integrated solution to call FraudLabs Pro API in every order?

Im running a prestashop POS module for the cash counter in my physical shop.

When the staff sell the items, they have to restock the racks.

Several times every day, when they have some free time, lets say every hour, 

they go to the warehouse and take the clothes.

I cant find a fast way to get the last products sold in a list, arranged in columns to make it easier

for the staff to collect the clothes depending the area of the warehouse they are, or the categories.

Exporting that list to a html, or excel would be nice, anything that can let them tick the lines they already 

restocked to dont get confused next time they do that task.

At the moment they write down the items they sell in a piece of paper, and is a bit annoying because 

a lot of mistakes and , well, having this powerfull tool and then writting down, when we could have 

a tablet to restock easily is... a bit embarassing

I am looking for a module that can customize/build brand subsite with products of the selected brand in it. Similar to the enclosed picture of our existing site. I am building a new site under Prestashop 1.7.6.2.

The ideal module should let me build brand subsite with a main menu at the top like https://www.holle.ch/en_GB/ one of the menu being the product menu. When selecting the product menu, it will show the standard Prestashop brand menu listing all the products of the selected brand and a category menu on the left panel that can let user view ALL or selected category of products. The module should let me incorporate different elements such as brand banner, background, text, pictures, movie, etc.. and let me build multiple pages linked by the main menu items.

If the above is too complicated, I would be satisfied with a solution liked the enclosed brand page in our current site.

I have a customer with a special demand. They need a form, for the customer to fill. They don´t need the content to be sent to them, but they need the customer to be able to print the content of the form (Which they just filled out themselves) to a PDF file.

Background: The customers can order a print on one of their own books, and therefore the customer need to print the information from the form, to be able to send the printed content along with the book.

Does anyone know of a module, that can do this, or if it is possible to do via PHP? 
I have someone in my team who know PHP (I myself do not 😉)

It is not a professional behavior, if you cannot support the modules then suspend the sale and dedicate yourself only to what you are able to do.

I'm trying to figure out how to setup a system where the customer has to pay a deposit before being able to place an order (or ideally together with the 1st order).

I'm setting up a webshop for a zero waste grocery store which would like to start to do delivery and use their own containers in order to send out the deliveries. The containers stay with the customer after the 1st delivery and get returned and picked up during 2nd delivery and then the cycle repeats. It is therefore necessary to have a sum of money as a warranty (deposit) that these containers get returned.

I came up with a few possible solutions but couldn't figure out how to incorporate any of them.

- paid customer accounts: during account creation ask to pay the deposit (eventually if an account is closed the deposit is refunded).

- extra fee with 1st order: charge an additional fee only with the 1st order. Only with the 1st order and not again unless the deposit is refunded. (I am able to set an extra fee but do not know how to only do it with the 1st order and how I would automatically track whether the fee has been refunded)

- subscription: automatically add an infinite subscription item together with the first order (or before the 1st order and only then allow to place an order) and never again unless the subscription is refunded. The customer would then only be able to make future orders if the subscription is active (using customer groups would allow that). (This is very similar to the 1st option but prevents the need to delete customer accounts).

I'm seriously struggling with this and would really appreciate any help or thoughts! :)

We have different ones likes  10% 22% etc..., so the module should only disable the VAT in the cart.

So into the cart I need the price without tax. I also need to diversify the discount depending on the payment method used by the customer.

In practice, if the buyer pays with PayPal the discount is applied while with bank transfer no. For me this option doesn't make sense but the shop owner wants likes this.

Furthermore, the offer is valid only over a minimum amount, even shipping cost is free over an amount, but this can be done without buy a module.

Ideas and suggestions? Thanks for any replay.

I would like to ask you if there is any way to change the combination price without using the impact price. A field which is called "final price" is currently displayed in each combination (see screenshot) that you can not edit.

There has to be a quicker way..

I am experimenting with Presta, because I want to set up a Website for comparing products. It should show Data from a Database in a way that is structured, filterable and searchable.

It does not need to be an actual webshop. It does not need a checkout, since its main use should be to compare products.

The main functionalities it should have include:

pulling Data from a already set-up Database and display them in different categories

pull external product pictures and save the them locally, so they will load faster.

Do you maybe know if there is a module which would fullfill my needs or do you know any use-cases of presta being less of a shop and more of a comparing service?

So far I am using Maria DB and myPhPAdmin

I need help if anyone have to fix this issue.The issue is in faceted search on price filter option used and also sort by option used. Faceted search adding additional slashes in to the category url. that the bug search not working in any place.Please refer to the screenshot and do the needful.

Do you know of any module for prestashop 1.7.6.1 that shows in the SERP correctly the Rich Snippets of the products and categories correctly and works independently to the rich snippets that bring the theme of our store integrated?

Ne pouvant pas faire fonctionner ce module j'ai fait appel à mon développeur qui n'a pas réussi non plus .

Après quelque échange avec le développeur du module, celui-ci me répond et argumente des problèmes diverses auquel je ne comprend rien 

je demande donc le remboursement de ce module à l'agence Sitelab, qui se contente de m'envoyer des réponses complètement flous

I bought a theme through Prestashop in june 19 and from start i din't get any help from the seller, after i complain a lot i suddenly got a message that i have got a refund.......

When i then the day after suddenly saw that the seller or prstashop have remove this without my accept.....

How is this possible?????

Have Prestashop a backdoor or is there a backdoor in a theme from the seller...

I think that this is illegal and rock with the trust of using Prestashop.

Hopefull it's not Prestashop but the seller and this will be 

excluded from selling on Prestashop.

Product 1 is connected to 
carrier 1 (inside Warsaw) = cost 50$
Carrier 2 (outside of Warsaw) = cost 80$

Product 2 is connected to
carrier 3 = cost 20$
Pick up in store = cost 0$

when order will be placed and client will add product 1 and product 2 to the cart
he can choose for product 1 - carrier 1 or 2

and for product 2 - carrier 3 or Pick up in store

all combinations should be available and after all it would add all cost together

ps. i have tested how carriers in default prestashop works

when we have one product in cart with multiple carriers its good couse client can choose which one he want, thats not the problem

but when are two products with diffrent carriers assign to them its ridiculous becouse prestashop is choosing the best carrier for client within all carriers available, so presta choose the carrier that cost less, it is just stupid in my opinion

En effet pour nos clients nous aurions besoin sur certains produits d'avoir une modération de la part d'un salarié. Je m''explique un utilisateur commande plusieurs produits dont 1 qui doit faire l'objet d'une vérification de la part d'un supérieur hiérarchique (brochure print à relire et valider par ce supérieur) avant d'être validée et de partir chez le fournisseur. Comment peut-on gérer cette fonctionnalité? Existe-t-il des choses nativement dans Prestashop ? Il faudrait idéalement que pour ce produit le responsable reçoive un e-mail qui l'informe qu'il a un produit à modérer/vérifier. Qu'il puisse aller dans le back office pour vérifier et changer le statut de la commande si le doc est ok.

I am looking for fastest lightweight Prestashop 1.7 theme. Because a want to have PS page speed not affected by some bulky colossal theme. I was trying to google it, but I got nothing? I dont understand, why next to each theme isnt some page speed informations? Especially in these days when google serp is affected by page speed load times. I think I am not the first person solving this. But maybee I am googling with wrong keywords. I am sorry, am not native english person so maybee I dont know other right phrases.

So, how can we find really fastest and lightweight themes for Prestashop 1.7? And how to do it?

when searching for tags they only work in front office

I'm looking for a module that would help me manage differrent stocks of my products. To be more precise, this is how I work

-I have items in my main warehouse
-some items are also on consignment in a store
-and some more items in another store

So I would need three different stock quantities, but the customer should see the total of those stocks, not separate warehouses.

Orders should be substracted only from the main warehouse.

Any idea where I could find this?

When they bring in a new customer, they want a prompt at their first login to display a list of non-profit organizations - The customer gets to choose just one, that the company will send a check to on behalf of the customer.  The catch is, once the customer chooses the non-profit, they will not be prompted again to choose.

Does that make sense?  Any thoughts you can provide would be awesome!

Le module "Trackingfront" affiche dans le Dashboard des affiliés, une la page blanche. (erreur 500) les autorisation sont "755" sur le dossier "smarty"

J'ai procédé à une réinstallation complète en local et même souci.

Le module "Récupération des données statistiques"  est bien activé dans les deux cas. 

Dans le Dashboard de l'admin j'ai bien les différentes opérations des affiliés.

Quand un affilié souhaite voir ses résultats, un belle page blanche s'affiche.

Le mode débug m'indique ceci

Does somebody know a easy-to-use product configurator module? Any suggestions are welcome!

We sell custom cut timber products, and we are getting swamped with small cutting orders which are not profitable. We would like to add a surcharge to orders which contain custom cut timber products.

More specifically we would like to add a fixed surcharge to the customers order, when the value of the products they have ordered from a specific category fall below a certain value (in this case £250).

If anyone knows of a module that can achieve this, we would be most grateful.
