	just wondering why I can't edit the 1st shop in "my shops" on addons.prestashop.com. 	Hello, when buying this module we had to contact the developer since the module has many failures and malfunctions, which I list below:
</p>

<p>
	"· If you deactivate the gift product, adding it returns an error message and does not let you continue with the purchase<br />
	· If I put it in "not available for purchase" directly does not add it to the cart<br />
	· If the product has value, free shipping costs can be altered<br />
	· If the product has € 0 value, the customer can add infinite gifts<br />
	"<br />
	To which the developers responded that it was indeed a problem of the module that they would solve with future updates, this message was dated: "Developer - 05-29-2019 12:27 PM"<br />
	Today the module is still not working, we want to file a complaint form against this developer.

<p>The so called addons.prestashop.com "technical validation" has turned to "Paragraph 21" hell.</p>

<p>Issue #1:<br />I submited 3 files - by one for PrestaShop 1.4, 1.5 &amp; 1.6.<br />Result: For All 3 I got 3 different "issues", although the validation is pretty much the same. Also on the response there's no information for which one from the 3 is that response.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Issue #2:<br />- Before I submit a module, I need to validate it with the <a href="https://validator.prestashop.com/" rel="external nofollow">https://validator.prestashop.com/</a>, so I'm validating.</p>
<p>- After submitting, my module get rejected with the following description "Using our license notices in your index.php file, you must use your license notices"<br />- I'm changing the license to mine and resubmitting for validation<br />- Now I got the following: "Can you remove the license of your Prestashop files, especially on templates, thank you."<br />- Also, at validator.prestashop.com the .tpl licenses &amp; .php license are mandatory and return errors if missing.</p>
<p>- Before I submit my module I must check the checkbox that I have validated it at at validator.prestashop.com.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>So what shall I do? </p>
<p>1) Remove all license comments on all files (Which they asked me to add)? <br />2) Leave my licenses on my files (Which they asked me to remove)? <br />3) Shoot myself?</p>

<p>
	I want to give my feedback about the new look of the product pages on addons market. I find them really bad. The first thing you see when you open an product page is one title and "video". For example on themes there is not even an theme screenshot (unless the user manage to see the small arrow in the gallery and realize there are screenshots behind the videos). Not only that, but the images are way too small. Also tabs and store demo links are terrible in my opinion.

	I don't know how others feel about this change, but i liked the old design much much better, the new one is confusing, visually unappealing and with strange structure to me. I hope others share their opinions and lets make addons better <span><span><span>:)</span></span></span>

But while the latest version (3.8.1, released July 19th) is safe, older version have modules which contain a serious security flaw.</span></span></p>

The initial issue was with the theme’s own Image Banners module.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">While not being a security issue per-se, the native </span><a data-ipb="nomediaparse" href="https://github.com/PrestaShop/sendtoafriend/tree/master" rel="external nofollow"><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(17,85,204);background-color:transparent;">Send to a Friend module</span></a><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">, which is included in every version of PrestaShop, was recently found to have an issue which allowed malicious people to spam e-mail addresses using the store’s web server.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">The Addons team takes security very seriously -- we even have a team member solely dedicated to security. </span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">All modules (even module updates) submitted to Addons must pass the PrestaShop Validator automated tests, and Addons developers also check on new modules to make sure they work safely.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">Even so, sometimes bad code pass our automatic and human filters: that’s what happened with the Abandoned Cart Reminder Pro module above. Luckily, our community has our back and warned us.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">We have a process for when we learn of a security issue in a module or a theme:</span></span></p>

<ol>
<li>	<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;background-color:transparent;">Put it offline from Addons.</span></span></p>	</li>
<li>	<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;background-color:transparent;">Contact its developer about it.</span></span></p>	</li>	<li>	<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;background-color:transparent;">Wait for the developer to fix the issue and release a new version on Addons.</span></span></p>	</li>	<li>	<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;background-color:transparent;">Put the addons back online with the fixed issue.</span></span></p>	</li>	<li>	<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;background-color:transparent;">Contact all the Addons customers who bought the addon, warning them to update their store’s module.</span></span></p>	</li>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">This is exactly the process we followed. A batch e-mail was sent this week, advise customers to update their installation of the Abandoned Cart module.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">To prevent further issues, we have put offline some modules that seem to prevent the same issue, and we have strengthened our security process.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">Even if there are no recent security updates concerning your theme or modules, we advise you to check if you are infected or not.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">In short: if you have the Warehouse theme or any of the modules listed above, <strong>DO UPGRADE THEM</strong>. <u>Contact their respective author if you need to: we listed their website or product sheet above</u>.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">The tricky part is that every site is different, and the security flaws are mostly the same, each hacker has his own set of files to upload. Hence, cleaning up an infected store can be automatically done: the most secure way is to rely on a recent backup of your files.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size:14.6667px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;">Moreover, listing the flawed files would be giving too much information for potential hackers… </span></span></p>

	It does not work and I have a hard time comunicating with a developer.

	The developer does not speak good english and answering just :  "if you use mac use Keywork CTRL + R" or "try to other firefox" or "send me backoffice details" witch I cannot do.
</p>

	Module should make changes that will make a score in google pagespeed test better, but it does not do that. Also, when module is instaled I cannot log into the back office without deleting https:// from back office address.

	ALSO, Prestashop ADDON say that if the developer dont fix the problem i will get my money back, well that doesnt happen, i also write the ADDON Prestashop Support, they told me that will answer in 72 hours, still no answer

	I'm seeking advice regarding a theme I bought a while ago.

	Since I installed it, it has given me nothing but trouble, it's error after error and all i get is replies requesting my credentials for ad-hoc fixes. I have spent more time testing the site for errors than actually loading products for the store.

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Moreover when I tried to talk to the theme support requesting a reason why a poorly coded theme is sold to the public, all i get is replies written in poor English, the likes of "We fixed your issue.<br />
	Thank you!", "And we checked your site, it's working", when they clearly haven't because i keep finding more errors.  
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	I'm seeking a fair solution but the developer does nothing but reply in a machine manner, I assume they don't understand or just refuse to acknowledge my claims.
</p>

	Is there a way to get a refund or have somebody from Prestashop to intercede on my behalf? Because after all the so called fixes, the theme itself is faulty and paying 105 dollars for a theme that isn't fully functional is a robbery.

<p>If you want to buy module, search for developer, find him and purchase form his website. Why? Because they will certainly provide better support, allow refund, and provide detailed instructions. </p>

<p>Most impotrtantly NEVER BUY themes form prestashop. They are THIRD PARTY in this business. Always check for same template in Template Monster website. Why? Because prestashop sells INCOMPLETE themes. Yes incomplete. You will not get access to source files and PSD files as they are encrypted with password from.... Template Monster! And guess what, you will not receive this password form prestashop. Meaning you are receiving INCOMPLETE product! If you buy theme form Template Monster you will get ALL passwords to all files. Finally there is NO refund on your purchase in prestastore. </p>

<p>To sum it up. You are better off with buying form the SOURCE as template monster rather than buying INCOMPLETE product from THIRD PARTY company like prestastore.</p>

	We are not able to export products to Cdiscount.We have not received enough support since we bought the module. <br />
	Common Services support team wants some screen-shots at the end of the day , even if we send the login information to you.<br />
	Because of this it takes time to solve the problems.<br />

	When we export products to Cdiscount, we are getting an error saying that there is no product to send. <br />
	The settings  the updates are checked many times.
</p>

	At the last mail, support team says that folder permissions are not correct. Common Services Amazon module is running at same server at same site and do not have any problem.<br />
	All folder permissons are 777 and module is able to create files as you can see the attached zip file.
</p>

<p>
	The module has been purchased for about 1 month and we spent hours as a team to solve the problem by ourself.If we work some we will code a new module for Cdiscount.
</p>

	Now we update all modules- themes and Prestashop to the latest version and getting same error.
</p>

	I was wondering if anyone knows of any trial period on Addons purchases. I haven't seen any. I see that people try to get their money back on different issues, some with success and some not.

	I believe that there has to be a trial period of at least 15 days on Addons with refunds available within this period without a question.
</p>

<p>
	Our only option to make sure that an Addon is what we need before a purchase is to go through reviews. However, everybody's case may be different.
</p>

<p>
	For example, I am using an Amazon marketplace addon but I am not 100% satisfied. There is another one I want to check out but I don't want to risk $150. Screenshots don't help. Descriptions are all advertisement.
</p>

<p>
	PrestaShop management and messages on these forums don't give me enough confidence that the refunding process will be hassle-free.
</p>

	Before the maintenance, my customer can't download the right module. Still says awaiting validation. <br /><br />I see on the forums that many other people have had this same problem. It's really strange, as other marketplaces where I transact, the transaction happens in a couple of minutes....</p>

	If you're in the market for a theme DO NOT buy from PrestaShop Addons. They promise customer support for 3 months, the problem is that nobody will ever answer the telephone or return your e-mails. If you call the Billing dpt you'll encounter the same problem. I purchased a theme called Strollik and it does not work. I've been trying to cancel this order and no luck with the English group. The Prestashop script is very good but their customer service is the worst. Buy from Themeforest. Less expensive and support is very attentive.

	I won't list the modules but want to share my experience.

	I bought one module which said it was compatible with 1.7.0. I installed it onto my 1.7.2 installation and it didn't work, front end was replaced with a blank page, errors when I turned on debugging. I spent a day debugging the issues and it become clear quite quickly that it had not been written to work with Prestashop 1.7. To make sure it wasn't an issue caused by 1.7.2 I installed a fresh 1.7.0 and had exactly the same problem. The files inside the zip file were dated October 2016, I understand that 1.7 was released in November 2016. That module cost me £90.

	I bought another module which does the same thing, this one cost me £270. It is listed as being compatible with 1.7.3. I downloaded it and installed it, this one didn't break the front end which was a good start. I configured it and checked the product it was attached to, but the module wasn't visible. I tried installing it on my fresh 1.7.0 installation and it worked.
</p>

	I did some more digging and found the module was attaching itself to the displayProductButtons hook. After searching on the internet I find out this hook was replaced in Prestashop 1.7.1 with the hook displayProductAdditionalInfo.

	So I have to ask how a module costing £270 can advertise itself as being compatible with 1.7.3 when it's attaching to a hook that was removed in 1.7.1.

Pakistan doesn't allow Paypal and the process of a Bank Wire Transfer is extremely lengthy these days (Thanks to Government). Please can anyone help me here? Is the link down or something. 	It is absolutely incredible, I had a problem with a seller of modules and I asked him a refund because his module does not work in my online shop. Of course, he said not to the refund, and nobody in Prestashop Addons can help me. Even, they dont have any email or form to make a complain.

	Finally, after many searchs, I found a form to contact Prestashop Addons. And which was their answer? They answered that I must use a form to contact the department of payments. But you know, where this form carries me???? It even is funny. The form only is to contact the seller of the module. But I do not want to speak with this scammer again!!!

	Well, my money is lost and I am not troubled about this small quantity of money. I am only angry due to the terribly bad, even non-existent, customer attention service from Prestashop Addons. And I will also write here about the seller of the module. Maybe nobody from Prestashop take care of customers. But at least customers will be adviced by me, and also by other many buyers whom suffered a similar problem. You only have to use Google to find them.

My version is v1.6.0.9, but the module never worked. The seller never sent any instruction or explanation, only sent to me different versions of his module, but none of them worked. I asked a refund but the seller said that I must update my Prestashop version. I answered that my Prestashop is working perfectly and I will not update it, besides the module must work with v1.6.0.9, as he offers. Finally, the seller asked FTP access to my online shop. I answered that I dont give FTP access to unknown people, and this literally was his answer: "Do not be paranoid, we work with hundred and hundred of customers".</span>

<p>But it's quite new for customers who purchase addons and premium support here.</p>

<p>I'll be summarizing what it is and how it works.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>ZEN option includes 12 months of technical supports, and it's valid for minor releases as well as major release.</p>
<p>Only Captain and Superhero contributors can provide this option.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>What if a contributor is not Captain or Superhero?</p>
<p>Or what if I, as a customer, don't purchase ZEN option?</p>
<p>Yes, in both of cases, it falls down to basic support which includes: 3 months of technical support and only minor releases.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>What about pricing model?</strong></p>
<p>As a customer, you can subscribe to ZEN option at 3 different times:</p>
<p>- (1) At the time and along with your purchase of the main addon, for example, our <a href="http://addons.prestashop.com/en/13654-rockpos-point-of-sale-pos-pro.html" rel="external nofollow">RockPOS Point of Sale (POS) Pro</a>.</p>
<p>- (2) Within 3 months after purchase.</p>

<p>Then, in September, you decide to subscribe to ZEN option. It does not mean, you benefit from ZEN option until next September. Instead, it will expire in next January, 12 months after the purchase</p>

<p>We have recently purchased a couple modules that just do not do what we thought they would from their description but yet I am stuck with them because the way the system is set up.</p>

<p>Am I missing something? Do most modules not let you trail them too see if they do what you need them to do? This is ridiculous.</p>

<p>For example, we are considering the "Quick assign images into product combinations<span> </span>Module" but from what I can decipher from the sales page you still have to make a new attribute for every image you bring in. This does not seem to save any time. Spending 40 euro again for something that we are not sure how it works (yes I watched the videos, they are little help also) is like shooting first then asking questions. Poor system.</p>

<p>I can log in to the Prestashop main site okay, but when I click on the modules menu option, it shows me the modules screen and logs me out and requests that I log in again.</p>

<p>When I try it tells me that the has been an authorisation failure.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I then try requesting a new password and it tells me that I don't have an account.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>If I try to create an account with the same password, it tells me that I already have an account. HELP !</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I've tried it in Chrome and Edge and have tried registering new credentials with the same issue. </p>

When I do complaint through module/extension page, it just redirects me back to the developer who claims "no no no module works well" but it just doesn't. Isn't there any kind of consumer care or something on prestashop marketplace?</p>

<p>Does it really take 3 weeks to syncronize 20k products? Because prestashop's default csv import takes 2 hours max. Module settings don't work either. I think a prestashop autorized person should thest that particular module, I feel like scammed.</p>

Then for two months they could not fix this, havent received a funds return, we went back to the old version.</span><br><span>Now I've got it back to the latest version, it's been 6 months and they propably fixed some mistakes but there was a a surprise. The module has even more errors than before. </span></p>

<p>Kupiliśmy nową wersję moduł Amazona Marektplace 12.08.2016 i od razu kupę błędów. Potem przez dwa miesiące nie potrafili naprawić tego i kasy też nie oddali, cofnęliśmy się do starej wersji.</p>
<p>Teraz wróciłem to do najnowszej wersji, w końcu minęło 6 miesięcy i pewnie naprawili błędy a tu niespodzianka. Moduł ma jeszcze więcej błędów.</p>

<p>I bought the extra product tab pro module 2 days ago. On the website it stated that it is compatible with version 1.6.</p>
<p>After I downloaded it the module I received was completely different that what is advertised on the website. I received a module called "tv extra product tabs" It looks nothing like what I ordered and when installing it states that this module is not supported by prestashop?</p>

<p>I tried to contact support twice, but they just do not reply. I want to get a refund, but not sure how if I can't get in contact with them.</p>

<p>They don't answer their phones or reply to emails. I understand you can buy 'tickets' which are incredibly expensive, but these aren't custom modifications or unique requests, they are simply trying to contact them in the ways they offer, which are apparently free.</p>

<p>From a week or two i notice an cookie problem with PrestaShop addons (With latest Firefox) and seems to forget my login every day... I clear cache and cookies and this fix the problem for about a day, the next day the same thing and have to log in again. In the past there was the same issue and PrestaShop fixed this. Now again.</p>

<p>Before submit to review team, I validated by validator.prestashop.com. But I sure the tool isn't compatibility with prestashop 1.7. Because it report error for correct code of Prestashop 1.7.</p>

<p>I would like to show you all how is the customer being treated when you are buying Amazon Marketplace module.</p>
<p>Our shop is in 1.5.6.3, installed 3.9.166 module. We wanted to update this module to newest version 4.xx.</p>

<p>Update has been bought and then the whole circus started. Module hasn't been working properly so we decided to write a message to the author itself. First there was only one specialist which I think didn't understand the problem entirely. After a week the new specialist took the case and still helped us at all. After 2 weeks another specialist came along – asking for data which we gave at the start!!! Would it be hard to look and read the tread from the beginning?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>After several of attempts and months clearing the problem – final effect came to 0.</p>
<p>We are talking here about working online shop - daily imports were like dozen from Amazon.</p>
<p>It was treaten like a lab rabbit from the authors side.</p>
<p>That was it – we ask for a refund and got back to the working version 3.9.166.</p>
<p>Author odeclined - because there is a paid support from your side so someday this problem will be fixed, so his response was to install another version which they done already.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Due to lack of funds from the authors side – we requested refund directly from the Prestashop – they receive the money for our module order. Prestashop hasn't being well giving the anwers like 1 time for 10 days as a miracle for us to happen. They said that only the Author of a module can give a refund. We requested refund – after 3 weeks – nothing happen.</p>
<p>The money has gone from our account – if the module works or not – nobody cares.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Giving you my feedback I request for a 100 time for this crap that you sold to us ?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Is it ok to have a bad reputation for 200 Euros? </strong></p>
<p><strong>If this will not give any effect we will take further actions – it's not about those 200 Euros – just for simple dignity.</strong></p>
