Le Chocolat des Français breaks the norms of "artisanal chocolate" by combining art with the expertise of French chocolate making.
We launched our products at the Salon du Chocolat in November 2014.With 50 illustrators, we were able to produce a major exhibition of over 300 unique and original bars of chocolate. Not long after the salon ended, we were approached by Colette, the flagship design store of the era, to distribute our products. This marked the true birth of the brand and the concept: bringing together the decorative and the delicious.
At the start, the most important thing for us was to have a plan, rather than starting from a blank page. PrestaShop has provided us with a framework for selling our products, a solid structure that helps us put best practice into action. Above all, it’s a simple solution for development thanks to a wide range of product management modules. This allows us to have a website that is upgradeable, and this is the greatest strength of PrestaShop for us!
It really is a complete ecosystem of modules developed around PrestaShop that we think is really great! There are brand new modules, such as logistics management with Cubyn or after-sales services with Tawk-to. These are very simple to set up, and for us, not being very technical and without any developers in-house, it really makes life easier.
