Merchant Success Specialist (In-house Account Executive)

PrestaShop, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive for our Miami office. This employee should maintain good relationships with the company’s customers through regular phone contact, on-line chat, and e-mail communication. They will be representing the company directly to the customer and must have a complete understanding of the products or services being offered and the ability to showcase the benefits and any specialized features to finalize or influence any potential business transaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Building new business within existing account
  • Prospecting for new clients and reactivating dormant accounts
  • Responding to incoming lead calls
  • Sell support plans to Merchants seeking additional support
  • Reacting to inbound web leads from the internet and converting to conversations
  • Offer our service, write business proposals, and negotiate contracts
  • Understand the major players in your area
  • Provide reports on sales activity and results
  • Technical knowledge of PrestaShop

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Basic knowledge of E-Commerce
  • Proven ability to meet sales goals
  • Enthusiasm, reliability and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • The ability to be assertive and professional in a team working environment as well as show initiative in follow-up calls and sales activities

Core Developer (M/F)

Do you want to work for a fast-growing open-source software company? Do you want to grow in an international environment while being based in Paris? Do you want to collaborate with a team of talented engineers located in Paris?

 
Responsibilities:
 
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our core developers team and work on large-scale projects, such as:
 
- implementing machine-learning techniques to improve the daily management of an online store, 
- rewriting the whole products creation process,
- creating an intuitive system to help merchants design and customize their online store.
 
 
PrestaShop is written with PHP and uses MySQL as a database. You can access it on GitHub.
We are going through a technical transition from a home-made framework to Symfony 2. Most of the projects you will work on will request the use of Symfony 2. 
 
 
For our secondary projects, all technologies are welcome: we currently run production code written in Node.js, Ruby, Python, transpiled ES6… and if you dream of creating the API of a future service in Haskell, why not!
 
 
Our product design process involves every team member from the early stage of the projects. You will be involved in functional decisions, working closely with the UX Designer, the Content Manager and the Product Managers. 
 
 
You work well with others, and are ready to follow us on our after-work antics!
 
 
Profile:
 
The ideal candidate should:
 
- master PHP and object-oriented programming. A missing type hinting on a signature makes you scream.
- have a perfect command of the PHPUnit framework, or a similar one, 
- know at least one of the following VCS: Git or Subversion,
- be at ease with JavaScript and know the usual frameworks (jQuery, MooTools), 
- be rigorous: the job isn’t done if it doesn’t have automated tests,
- be curious; you love to test new techniques and are aware of the latest innovations!

Partner Manager (M/F)

Our Partnership Department is looking for a Partner Manager to reinforce our rapid growth. Given PrestaShop's success, more and more online retailers from all over the world, including web agencies and Internet service providers, are looking to partner with us. We would like to shore up our Partnership team by recruiting a Partner Manager.

 

As a member of the Partnership Department, you will help manage the partner network (excluding web agencies) and develop PrestaShop sales. Your main tasks will be:

 

Monitoring and managing our network of e-commerce partners: monitoring of KPIs and performing services included in the contract (displays on our websites, presence at events, visibility in the program, etc.). You will manage your portfolio in a proactive and sustainable manner. You will be responsible for ensuring partner satisfaction, meeting objectives, and optimizing revenue generated by the variable component of the partnership.

Sales: regular selling of services to partners through cross-selling and upselling (marketing actions, event booths, advertising space, etc.)

Contract renewal: charged with partner satisfaction and performance, you will be responsible for ensuring contract renewal.

 

You will have the opportunity to be in regular contact with well-known online merchants, including some of the biggest players in the sector: 1&1, Amazon, eBay, Google, La Poste, Mastercard, OVH, PayPal, TNT, Visa, etc.

 

Profile:

 

- Business school diploma, or university degree with a business specialization (Master's or equivalent),

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,

- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing a network of partners,

- Highly rigorous, well-organized, and possess a familiarity with dashboards and reporting,

- Multilingual: English and Spanish,

Manager Team Web Agencies (M/F)

Responsibilities:

 

You will be responsible for developing partnerships with web agencies, managing them and train them to emphasize PrestaShop awareness around the world.

 

Our network of web agencies brings together more than 150 agencies worldwide and aims at partnering with more and more agencies. It’s a strategic network for PrestaShop to speed up its growth.  We want to involve our Partners to ensure their success as well as PrestaShop success.

 

You will report to the Head of Partnerships and manage an international team of four Agency Managers, in France as well as in Miami office. You will work closely with our four Country Managers in Germany, Spain, Italy and Benelux.

 

Your main challenges will include:

-          Increasing our revenue by developing a strong web agency network,

-          Redefining the business model of all agency related activities to make it more attractive and efficient,

-          Evaluating and pushing forward the agency partnership program,

-          Supporting and leading the Agency team to achieve the set objectives.

 

 

Profile:

 

-          Business school diploma, or university degree with a business specialization (Master's or equivalent),

-          Solid experience in international team management,

-          Minimum 6/8  years of experience including 2/3 years of account management with web agencies,

-          Excellent interpersonal skills,

-          Business oriented,

-          Highly rigorous, well-organized, and possess a familiarity with dashboards and reporting,

-          Multilingual: English, French and a third language,

-          Passionate about sales and business,

-          IT skills necessary for understanding our product, and/or knowledge of open-source software and e-commerce.
