Please meet our Ambaasdor Toky from Antananarivo in Madagascar. He joined the Ambassador Program in 2016, and have been very active ever since animating the community. He has been chosen as Ambassador of the month for his willingness to help others. If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go and why?
To Japan, in order to get at a higher level of politeness and humility.
What issue/topic keeps you awake at night?
A random bug that I couldn’t manage to solve on one of my PrestaShop 1.7.4 projects :p
About your country
What is your favorite local food or drink?
I could write a whole chapter on this :)

It’s the richest country I know, with the poorest population
What do you like the most about your country?
For this, we should open a whole biblical book :D
What is especially worth seeing in your country?
Never come here, you may never want to go back home :)
A tropical climate, breathtaking sceneries, being surrounded by nature, 90% of endemic fauna and flora.
The cost of living is more than affordable.
What is your favorite PrestaShop store?
What is your feedback on the new major version, PrestaShop 1.7?
Being a technician, the entry of symfony within the core was a bit scary at the beginning, but PrestaShop was able to keep its spirit. We’re not so disoriented.
We even eventually came to really appreciate the improvements made on user experience.
How do you stay updated on PrestaShop’s newest updates?
The newsletter and the ambassadors’slack.

What were your motivations to become an Ambassador?
To share my passion of the good PHP code on PrestaShop within the small community of developers in Madagascar.
What is your proudest moment as a PrestaShop Ambassador?
Just at the end of the first meetup on February 25th, 2017. Through being in contact with the community, I realized that being a PrestaShop Ambassador is a reality, and among the privileges, is to be able to share your passion.
What do you like the most about being an Ambassador?
Being able to actively participate in the life of an open source CMS in whose value I believe in.
Being able to share my passion of the code and to help others on issues related to PrestaShop.
A last word?
PrestaShop is one of the best e-commerce tools that exists. It is very practical and easy to use that in just one hour, anyone can have an online shop. And of course, this requires no technical knowledge. If you’re still doubting, join a meetup, you will meet many people who will be more than happy to share with you their experience.
