About you

Three words to best describe you:
Workaholic, geek and confident.

If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?
Maybe just “Krystian Podemski” ;-)

What is your hidden talent?
I don’t think I have, back in the days I was good at football

A favorite line from a movie?
“Don’t wait for things to get easier, simpler, better. Life will always be complicated.’ Learn to be happy right now. Otherwise, you’ll run out of time.” – Intouchables (French movie)

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go and why?
For sure it would be a Madrid, I’m huge Real Madrid fan! ⚽

About your country

What is your favorite local food or drink?
In Poland we have something called “Kotlet Schabowy”, and yeah, it’s amazing.

Give us a fun fact about your country:
Most Poles watch “Home Alone” during the Christmas period. Every. Single. Year!

About PrestaShop

What is your favorite PrestaShop store?
I don’t think I have one. As a programmer I review the shops in a different way than other people, I’ve seen so many PrestaShop stores that it’s hard to choose only one!

What opportunities does PrestaShop provide in your country?
PrestaShop is one of the two most popular open source software solutions in Poland. PrestaShop is easy-to-use, stable and visually appealing, and that’s what makes people love it so much.

Additionally, PrestaShop is surrounded by a great community and its service is completed by all the local addons offered on its marketplace.

How do you help the Polish community know about PrestaShop?
You can find me on the Polish PrestaShop forum and on a few Facebook groups where I help members and answer their questions about PrestaShop. Although most of the time I’m trying to help by improving PrestaShop with useful Addons, by making Pull Request on GitHub to fix bugs or just by reporting issues on the Forge.

What is your feedback on the new major version, PrestaShop 1.7?
Many good changes, especially for developers, which means that we can expect even better Addons and Themes for PrestaShop. Thanks to the new architecture and many improvements in the back-office, using PrestaShop should be even easier and faster than it was in 1.6.

I agree that we can describe PrestaShop with two sentences: Sell faster, Create faster.

Both merchants and developers should be happy with PrestaShop 1.7!

How did you personally contribute to the development of PrestaShop 1.7?
As I have been working with PrestaShop over 8 years, I’m trying to use my experience and give the best feedback possible related to the new version on Gitter (chat for developers) on the Forum and during Skype conferences with the PrestaShop team.

About being an Ambassador

What is your proudest moment as a PrestaShop Ambassador?
Be chosen Ambassador of the month. Also, when I was not yet ambassador, for sure I have been proud to be on the list of the top 40 PrestaShop contributors.

What do you like the most about being an Ambassador?
Great contact with the PrestaShop Team and the fact that people trust more my opinions and recommendations.

A last word?
I wish everyone high conversion in your PrestaShop stores!

Thank you very much Krystian!
