About your country

What is your favorite PrestaShop store?
I do not have one favorite, but I like this shop: http://www.nature-vie.com/
What opportunities does PrestaShop provide in your country?
Brazil has its own characteristics due to its size, but also due to issues related to the economy.
Brazilians see entrepreneurship as a life option. This is why Brazil is a country with huge possibilities. In my opinion, as a digital marketing professional, the challenge at the moment is to generate visibility for PrestaShop and to promote its adoption, in order to transform PrestaShop into a synonymous of online store.
What is your feedback on the new major version, PrestaShop 1.7?
PrestaShop 1.7 represents a very big evolution and demonstrates the vitality of the platform. This creates a lot of security when choosing the platform to build an online store.
The performance in presenting the products on any devices is excellent. In the case of Brazil, mobile performance is fundamental.
Looking at the new Back office, I noticed the developers’ concern about facilitating the administrative actions inside the store with the presentation of a clean, well-organized and easy to use environment.
I really liked this new version!
About being an Ambassador
What is your proudest moment as a PrestaShop Ambassador?
I am very proud when I present PrestaShop as an effective solution for an entrepreneur. I am also extremely proud when I hear someone who adopted PrestaShop and created his store after attending one of my meetups.
What do you like the most about being an Ambassador?
I am very committed to guiding entrepreneurs to start their business with PrestaShop. I will be happy to continue to help the community as much as I can. Becoming an Ambassador was a great way to help other people and overcome the difficulty of speaking in public and even from going to enjoy lecturing.
Today, not only do I speak in meetups, but I also make presentations in technical schools, trade associations, social projects and much more… I am always ready to talk about PrestaShop!
A last word?
Thanks to the PrestaShop team for the support and opportunity, for my part I will make many presentations and promote many Meetups about PrestaShop here in Rio de Janeiro in 2017
See you next month
