Hi all,

Can Anyone tell me if there is a module that allows you to list products as comming soon?
Let me explain:

I used a Zencart.com shopping cart and that had the option to place an item’s details as “This product will be in stock from ??? Date” can this me done here?

I think Adds meant something like Pre-Orders, something I’ve been battling for months but almost no one seems to care to develop. It’s in the Requests, but nothing seems to happen.

hi nakano

i think we could understand what adds wants/was asking for.

why don’t you develop the module or pay a developer to do one for you as no one seems to care? as you so put it. i think there is a lot more important things for the presta team to sort out with the core development of the cart than to build modules that everyone requests.

then prehaps you could share it with the community, at the end of the day you have a free cart why not invest some of your own time or money in it if it is imoprtant to you…

The simplest solution would be to add a “date available” field to the product table (with a corresponding data entry field in the catalog tab). That way you could test the date in the theme/template and display an appropriate message there. I guess it isn’t a high priority compared to some other more essential “missing” features.

Or add products in catalog and not to allow to commercialize them, occulting the cart and showing a message as “ comming soon”.

look at this: In English and Spanish

Nice work!

Is it PS 1.1 compatible?
