  1. Hi there, Is it possible to search (or filter) products on its product features (NOT attributes), like color, height, time of blossoming (we sell flowers). I tried it with the Layered navigation block (catalogue) in left column but only find filters like price, stock, weight, and attribute.. I might be missing something, or do I need patching code/or another module? Help is appreciated! Jan
  2. Same question for text "quantity" next to price of product on productpage...
  3. Yes, but this only works if you don't need stock management, isn't it? We need stock management so we don't sell more then we have in stock. For example: we buy 50.000 crocus that is sold per 25. Stock is set on 2000. Cuctomers shoudn't be allowd to order more then the 50.000 bulbs we have. You have another solution which respects stock management? Thanks,
  4. Hello, Who can tell me where I can change the text "quantity" of the Volume discount block on productpage (frontend) ? I would like to change this to "Number of package" as wel sell our products per 10 (1 product = 1 pcs) Can this be done whithout patching code? Thanks,
  5. Hi Tuk66, Nice idea, but the "4 euro per 10", "6 euro per 20" instead of just "10 pcs", "20 pcs" like you suggest wil not work with stock management: the "4 euro per 10" might get sold out while there is plenty "6 euro per 20". How to manage this?
  6. Thanks for your honest answer, but - how to get the combination visible on productlisting page? - how to get combination (=quantity per package) in quanity (scale) price
  7. Hello guys, developers, I'm making an old idea new again and hope it can get integrated in a next update (is this the right place for posting idea's?). We sell flowerbulbs and flowerbulbs are always sold per quantity of 5, 10, 25, or 50 per package. Right now we're using the Dutch Luondo webshop system, which works very well but has of course it's limits. So we're thinking of switching to Prestashop but I'm really missing the future of selling a product per 5, 10, 25, or 50. For us 10 flowerbulbs of 1 sort/variety is 1 product in PS. Luondo has this option integrated. There is a post going about this subject ( http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/352349-selling-products-with-100-and-50-fold-per-quantity/ ) but I'm finding the combination-way not good enough; its a bit of a detour. I would like to have the quantity next to the price ("4 euro per 10" for example) on the productpage, on the productlistings page, in the shoppingcart, on the bill, packinglist, ánd on the quantity (Scale) dicount list (for example "5 x 10 bulbs gives 10% discount" instead of "5 gives 10% discount"). This post is a reality check: is it worth for me waiting for this update, do you (developers) think it's a good idea? It could be placed next to the "minimum quantity" tab. Is it worth for me (and maybe for other users also) to wait for this update, or should I start working with combinations, or even stay with Luondo? Best regards, Mjonglang (Jan) - Netherlands
  8. Best solution sofar is solving this with a attribute/combination of your wanted quantity like Grafikerinbirin is suggesting. Not ideal but it works. It only does not show the combination in the productlisting; for this you need to do some codework (not my cup of tea, but google "attributes in product listing") It would be much easier if there would come an "sold per quanity" in future (next to: minimum quantity tab?)
  9. Hi There, I also want to sell per quantiy. What is the best solution? Writing quantity in productname is good but not enough. It should be clear next to price (for example: $4,- per 10) and also with quantity value (5x10 = 10% discount) and on packinglist.
  10. Hi Nemo1, Thanks for your reply. I guess changing scripts is a common thing you PS guys are doing, or am I wrong? That means in this case: make a clone of the default bootstrap --> change script --> after a needed/wanted update make clone of updated default again and --> do same change in script, is that the way to go in future? How to tell the page which bootstrap to use?
  11. Hi there, Thanks Miguel86 for your reply, How to get my choose-your-language menu back on frontend for customers? Each language directing to unique domain. Settings: -3 shops (NL, DE, ENG) under shop group name "default" are activated -3 languages are installed, each language is associated with one shop Because each shop only has one language the choose-your-language menu (frontend) dissapears, how to get it back? Cheers, Jan
  12. Hello, I am practising with changing productlist view, from grid to list ( http://mypresta.eu/en/art/prestashop-16/grid-to-list-products-view.html). For this you need to edit the code of a script file and I read this warning on top of script file: Do not edit or add to this file if you wish to upgrade PrestaShop to newer versions in the future. If you wish to customize PrestaShop for your needs please refer to http://www.prestashop.com for more information. So, can you tell me how to keep up to date in future while also changing scipts manually? Mjonglang - Netherlands
  13. Hello all, I have a fresh install of prestashop 1.6 and I'm learning by doing.. For our company we need a multi language shop. Each language needs it's own URL (www.mydomain.de, www.mydomain.com, www.mydomain.nl). Its preferred that customers can still switch between the languages with a flag in topbar, but language should direct to the unique URL of that language, not to www.defaultdomain.nl/de or so. So I set up a 3 stores: NL, DE, ENG. With this post ( http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/200923-solved-multishop-one-language-per-multishop/ ) I gave every store it's default language: location --> config --> multistore YES --> set language per store. The next thing would be setting an URL per shop so I can test it. Did not do this yet. But I did find out that the flag for switching between languages in topcorner (front end) dissapeared. Also I found out that on the product page you can still switch between all 3 languages next to text, even though I have clearly chosen 1 specific store (NL) of the three multistores. I took a picture of this situation; its attached. Would it not be correct if only the NL text can be edited when switched to NL store? Am I heading in the right direction? Advice is welcome:-) Cheers, Mjonglang - Netherlands
  14. Hi De Jour, Thanks for your reply. It looks like a sophisticated module. But is there an easier way? All I want is sell a flower per 10 (or 5, 25, 50) for a certain price and give quantity discount if customers buy 5x10 flowers. I do not want to give the possibility to buy just 1 flower for 30 cent: minimum is 10 flowers for 3 euro. Thanks, Ps, I also like the catalog: left screen in demo, which module is that?
  15. Hi there, I'm new into PS and amazed by al the possibilities this software offers! We plan to sell flowerbulbs online and I have a (first) question; Flowerbulbs are mostly sold per quantity. This quantity is changing per product (specie) but lets take 10 as an example. So we sell 10 flowerbulbs for 3 euro. The price of the product is then 3 euro, but how to I make clear to our customers they get 10 bulbs for this price (except for writing it in the productname) and how do I make it clear on our packinglist? On the productpage I can find a minimum quantity only but its not what I'm looking for (then I would have to fill in: price 0,30 euro, minimum quantity 10 bulbs: that makes a minimum price of 3 euro). I'm looking for an "sold per" option. If customers buy 50 bulbs they get 10% discount. How do I make this clear in the quantity discount menu? It would be then: 5x10= 50 bulbs: 10% discount. (now: quantity 5 is 10% discount) Thanks in advance for your replies, Mjonglang - netherlands
