It depends on your needs. You need to get familiar with theme structure and spend some time for hand coding. But the theme design process becomes quick and easy if you go with theme design software like arti or TemplateToaster.

I am using TemplateToaster. I have solved this issue. Actually I have exported WordPress Theme instead off PrestaShop theme. Latter i export PrestaShop theme and it worked like a breeze. -
I have designed a Prestashop theme using a theme generator. Everything is fine but feeling unable to install the theme on my web-server. I have checked with the developers but everything is fine on there end. Could this be a PHP version issue? Any suggestion?

You can try Notepad++ if you want to manually code the theme. Otherwise you can try a Prestashop theme design software like TemplateToaster.
