  1. Totally agree, payment methods are available for 99.99% of the customers, why hide it from them? I'd rather have a fraction of my customers refused at checkout than 99.99% of my customers frustrated and confused. This is the bare minimum, at least have a coherent message. As I don't want to pay 159$ for a custom module right now I changed my message on my store to: "We accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. Please fill in your shipping details on step 1 above to proceed."
  2. Hi, Prestashop 1.6.0.9. I added a referrer to Stats->Referrer. I gave the referrer a Name, Password and Percent fee. I left the "HTTP referrer" fields empty I added to the the "Request URI" "Include" field: r=1 I changed "Save direct traffic" to yes. I entered the shop using the address www.myshop.com/?r=1 I checked my referrer stats and all values are still 0. I was expecting to see 1 visitor for this referral. Am I missing something? Is this referral system working? Thanks for any help!
  3. It seem that today the Paypal module still doesn't work as expected and I'd say it is a pretty critical module. Using Paypal 3.7.2 (not PP usa). When I use Express checkout both from the product and from the checkout page the customer money is taken but he is redirect back from Paypal to the cart as if the payment didn't go through. The customer can then add products to the cart on top of the existing products but when checking out again he gets an error. I had to disable express check out because of this behaviour. Another problem (maybe it's theme related), a customer can checkout without checking "Agree to the ToS". The button design and position is pretty poor but there are more urgent issues I guess. Cheers.
  4. Hi, I'm having the exact same problem: Getting this error displayed in the checkout page: Notice: Undefined variable: tmp in /prestashop/modules/paypal/api/paypal_connect.php on line 130 and an empty response from paypal: Please try to contact the merchant: <b>PayPal response:</b> -> prestashop 1.6.0.9 hosted on dreamhost shared hosting, paypal v.3.7.2 by prestashop. CURL is enabled. Paypal account is a sandbox account and the module is set to test mode. When switching to live mode I do get the paypal payment page. Switched prestashop to dev mode but logs are empty. Thanks for any help. I modified paypal/api/paypal_connect.php to print errors and found this error (I still don't know why prestashop isn't logging): SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number with this solution: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26378351/error1408f10bssl-routinesssl3-get-recordwrong-version-number-paypal-maybe I modified line 88 to version 1 instead of 3: @curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSLVERSION, 1); now test mode works however I still don't know the impact on live mode and why there is a difference here. I'll probably go back to version 3 before going live.
