  1. It seems like every data feed or submission company or app wants you to create your own data sheet which is extremely time consuming. Every product has to have a title model # description manufacturer price link to image link to product and a category
  2. I was looking to use a module which will create a data feed to upload to google merchant. Im building my own list directly using google merchants spreadsheet and its taking forever. I have many hundreds of items for sale on my website and want to add thousands more. Will this $129.95 add on create the list off my website automatically? Google Merchant Center (Google Shopping) Module If I buy it and hate it can i get refunded?
  3. Nope no presta shop response because THEY DONT KNOW!!!!
  4. Im in the file manager and the following is not listed there. /themes/default-bootstrap/js/global.js it goes: themes to default-bootstrap to js and then the following... 1)autoload 2)debug 3)modules so where is global.js ????
  5. I have a similar problem. clients dont get emails but the "test" works I keep getting failed email messages with: "SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host mta7.am0.yahoodns.net [98.138.112.37]: 554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons. See http://postmaster.yahoo.com/errors/postmaster-28.html"
  6. try in Advanced Parameters/Email put a check next to "Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced users ONLY)" Then set PORT to 587 not "25" thats what a tech rep at webhostinghub.com told me also make sure the other setting are up to date like "Mail domain name" - your domain name "SMTP server" - in my case its mail.avalonbodyproducts.com and "SMTP user" in my case its [email protected] Im just trying to help
  7. I tried a test sale on my storefront and paid by paypal but as a customer I only received the paypal receipt in my email. As a customer, the very next window after I paid showed an option to track the sale progress and asked for a specefic order #. This order # was generated and visible in my prestashop order history as the seller, but how do i automatically send that order confirmation # to the customer by email? know what I mean, anyone? Im not a developer and I dont use html so keep it simple for me please.
  8. Is there a checklist I can follow to only allow a tax to be charged on sales in New York where my business is located? I thought i did everything right on 1.6 in my storefront but during checkout no tax was charged on a test sale. Im not using HTML so i need instruction from the seller dashboard. I turned off every state but New York and I setup a tax rule for New York and i added the tax rule to my products. and I used a shipping address in New York when I made the purchase which is supposed to trigger the tax rule.
  9. Yep, thats the one. Never saw it. Because you have to hover over it to see it. Which I didnt do until I found the problem. Im just sayin, something as basic as that should be prominently displayed somewhere early on.
  10. OK im not a developer or web designer but I built my ecommerce store using prestashop 1.6 100% on my own. avalonbodyproducts.com However I ran into 1 big problem which delayed me for months! My product pages would not display my prices or the add to cart button. So no sales obviously because the site wasnt allowing it. I searched every forum, looked at every possible button and every page option, called Web Hosting Hub tech support, I found no answers anywhere. it was this...........in Preferences tab, then Products tab......set the "Catalog Mode" to NO! Granted im a moron but there was no indication anywhere to tell you what would happen if it was set to yes. Im only posting this to save the next sucker a lot of time.
