Hello, I trusted a zencart migration to prestashop to litextension and got really burned, these guys are useless, they take almost 48h to do a simple migration and nothing works, lots of tables end up missing info, its unberable, I've been back and forth for over a month now and I deeply regret it. My small livelihood is at risk, I need someone that can help me save my business, unless I manage somehow to migrate during the next week, I might lose it all. I need to migrate from zencart to prestashop and add/keep several things, such as: 1. add a tax rule and apply it to all migrated products and orders (source store did not had any tax rules) 2. keep urls or at least redirect the old urls to the new ones. 3. keep customer login details, such as password, unaltered. 4. keep correct statistics, all data must be populated, statistics such as cart data, best sellers, best customers, etc should be correctly migrated to pouplate tables and columns such as ps_orders, ps_cart_product and columns such as id_cart amongst others. 5. if possible, link daily visit statistics to my analytics account, so that admin statistics on the covnersion / registration ratios is accurate. 6. migrate to latest version. 7. Preserve products / category / customer id's. 8. make sure current modules that require correct statistical information work, such as modules for exporting tax/vat details, or modules such has "who bought who" that return lists of customers who bough specific products. This is an urgent job, I can't wait any longer, I need this next week, please guys, I need some serious help or I'll lose everything! Please provide me your estimation.

Hello, My category image sizes are not all the same in terms of height and width, no matter how many times I ask presta to rebuild categories. Could this be because of different image aspect ratios /sizes? If so, is there a way to Prestashop to FORCE the correct image dimensions and ignore image ratios, even if it results in some cropping of images? Thanks

It was a migrated zencart using litextension, they work ok and fixed it but at this point I wouldnt really recommend their services unless they fix all the data migration import

Customer to get specific points from purchases, points earned should vary from product to product. Reddem points in gifts only, so the points can only be spent for specific products only accessible trough points. Use voucher code to add a free gift to the order when ordering above X amount of money (for total cart), ideally, use one code only to choose from multiple gifts, for instance, use code "free-gift-50" to get either gift a or gift b free on total cart orders above 50€, Can someone help or point me to modules that would work for this? Hello I've just setup a prestashop shop in domain A, I have a wordpress blog in domain B, I would like to integrate it in Prestashop with something like this module: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/content-management/4731-professional-blog.html I've emailed the module owner about this and I'm waitign for his reply, but I wonder if anyone have made this before or stumbled with this problem and found a solution, since my blog is in another domain altogheter, is it still possible to integrate? The documentation is pretty bad, I managed to make it work changing the function name and hook name, it seams "hook" is a reserved word, so if you have a hook named "hook" it doesnt work or soemthing... PS: I'm a big fan of your videos, you should make more presta tutorials, I'm a subscriber in youtube, thank you so much for your work!!

Hi, I cant find any info on positionable hooks, why are the hooks I create non positionalbe / invisible? I also have the following problem: I've created a hook on the top menu, and then I've installed and registered that hook from the BlockCart module, my ideia is to have the BlockCart showing at that hook, I've made the changes an re-installed BlockCart, but the hook is still empty, why is that? Any ideas? Thanks

I've found the awnser. I still have a problem on how to place the cart in the megamenu, but I now understand a little more about modules and presta hooks, if you where having the same doubts, please see: The header hook is not a visual header, but enables us to put code in the <head> tag of the resulting HTML file. This is very useful for JavaScript or CSS files. To add a link to our CSS file in the page's header, we use the addCSS() method, which generates the correct <link> tag to the CSS file indicated in parameters. Hi Prestashop community, I'm extremely confused and I would really appreciate guidance or a link to a decent tutorial regarding module positions, my confusion is that there are 2 "hooks", header and top, for instance, do I have to position the same module in those 2 hooks for it to work properly, like the search block or shopping cart block? For instance, I'm trying to place the search module in the megamenu, how can I do that? In the template I'm working on, if I just add it to the top hook, it's not styled properly, if I then add it first to the header hook and then the top hook, it then styles properly, why is that? Is this header hook like a place where you load js/css files to the module you want to place at the top hook? I hope I could be clear and that it makes sense. Thank you.

Hello Prestashop community, I'm building my store on my localhost dev environment, with easyphp and it's prestashop module. Later on, how do I move it to my online server to make it live? Is there a tutorial you could point me please? Also, my backoffice is really slow, since I'm at localhost, shouldnt it be fast? Is there a fix for this? Im using lateste prestashop version. Thank you
