This is bullshit. Just created a new dummy category, then immediately deleted it and then all my issues were solved. WHAT THE F***** . It seemed it has to do with this nleft, nright values that were regenerated for those categories. BUG: Why does PS does not do that when you reorder categories????? Why does it only do that when creating/deleting categires? And my other issue about attribute positions not being stored I could fix thanks to http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/335042-attribute-value-positioning-problem-after-16/ Sorry but this sucks, such basic things should simply work. Is this even tested before it's released???

Hi Using PS 1.6.0.9 I have scratched my head for hours...... I'm getting crazy. I'm developing a site (caching is OFF). The positions of my categories do no match to what I see in the front-end. PLEASE GUYS HELP (See below) I have a category with id 27 In that category I have multiple subcategories where positions are defined (drag and drop works). The DnD works but it doesn't seem to update values in the database??? Where is this stored? This is a view of the database table ps_raphilflocategory of categories where parent id is 27 This is how it looks in the front-end. The "blouses & t-shirts" category is below.... but i needs to be on top under 2 other categories like you can see in the back-end and in the database view. How is this possible? I simply don't get it. I can't figure it out. 1) If I update the positions in the backend I don't see those changes in the database view and front view although the back-end seems to remember the positions? Eh? 2) If I update the positions in the database directly the front view doesn't get updated. WHAT AM I MISSING????? Also have similar issues with product attributes. When I reorder them it seems updated and saved in the backend but does not reflect the changes in the front end. Please help me. Regards Christophe

Hello I know you can add x number of addresses through your account "My addresses" link. Is helpful. No doubt. But mostly when you use it for "own" addresses (for example work / home) BUT In reality when someone wants to order something and send it as gift to "a friend" THEN you do not have the possibility to enter a different shipping address while ordering. Why is this not possible? The person ordering won't know or make the effort to use the "My address" screen in your account profile first. And he should not.... Isn't this a basic feature? That lots of people are asking? I do not find much information about this. I would have expected this to be possible. Most of the time when send as gift you would only use a different shipping address once so it should not even be stored for future use. Found only 1 module somewhat capable of doing this but it only works until PS 1.4 :/ so no good. Anyone can help me out? Regards Christophe

Although I'm still curious why it wasn't working I tried the Magic Zoom module and this works fine! So I'll stick with that.

Hi friends I have plunged into the Prestashop world for a few weeks now and I really like it. I have however an issue with JqZoom and although I know some css I can't get it to work. Is there anybody out there who would be so kind to check out what my issue might be and how to fix it? So I have enabled the parameter "Enable JqZoom instead of Thickbox on the product page" in the PRODUCT PREFERENCES page on 1.6.0.6. Please see an example product page on my dev site: http://www.bcweb.be/clients/raphiflo/en/collection/2-en-product-1.html When I hover over the image I see the crosshair cursor and instead of seeing a larger "detailed" image I see a smaller image. I have no clue what might be causing this. Can anyone help please or point me in the right direction. I guess it's a CSS thing though. Thank you in advance!
